982  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin using or need! Vs stable coins on: December 16, 2021, 04:13:18 PM
Well, for starters, they're both cryprocurrencies but hey, these two have almost nothing in common and they do have a big difference as for its uses and for the people. Stablecoins is also a digital currency with a value tied by the local currencies or US Dollar for example, and these coins are completely centralized because its value or market price is controlled by central banks which makes it less risky to invest and trust on. While bitcoin, is also a digital currency and is a complete decentralized meaning there's no authorities that is controlling it or who watches every transactions made into the system. It's value isn't backed by any currency or commodities which makes it extremely volatile. But bitcoin has proved its existence for more than a decade now and it remains the most trusted cryptocurrency of all time.

It's a matter of where you trust your funds to invest, no one is pursuing you where. It's your decision where.
983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have shared about bitcoin on my class on: December 16, 2021, 03:07:20 PM
I'm having an MBA degree on Marketing. Due to COVID19, we are having classes online. However, we had a term paper submission and presentation on "Deceptive Advertising". I have selected the freebitco advertisement and had presented their Bait and Switch method to attract newbies to have click on their site.
The advertisement is- "Win $200 bitcoin per hour" which I think totally a deceptive advertising. Through this, I was able to give a little hints about bitcoin among my fellow mates and my teacher. I felt lucky when teacher asked me what bitcoin is actually after my presentation, I gave a short answer to them.
This was really great achievement of me, it may not be to you. I feel lucky if I get a chance to talk about bitcoin among my country men.

This is a very good initiative and an interesting one too.

May i ask, when you told people you can earn $200 in bitcoin per hour, didn't they ask how can we earn this amount? Some maybe disappointed to know that they cant earn this much ?
It seems like the whole class including the teacher doesn't know bitcoin at all or any cryptocurrencies, the OP used the term hint so probably it was their first time hearing about it especially the teacher or professor. There's still a lot of people that isn't still knowledgeable about bitcoin nor they know it was already existed for more than a decade now that's why we're among the lucky ones to know about this and I think we ought to share this among to people close to us that we think that might get interested into it. Surely, bitcoin touched our lives in a very good way to make our daily living more comfortably, and we shouldn't be selfish about that knowledge.
984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 1000 usd , where to invest , on: December 16, 2021, 02:22:27 PM
1000 dollars is not a big investment, so I would not prefer coins with a high market cap. You can get good gems for this money. If you divide your money by 2 or 3, you distribute the risk at the same time. Ceek VR project attracts my attention right now, yes it is well priced, I know that. But until now, it has not been listed on any good exchange, so I suggest you do your research.
Yup, making your own research and studies what would be the best coins to invest would definitely do the trick. Always be equipped with knowledge and latest trends that mighy get you interested into or you wanted to. It's fine to ask here in this forum but it's only for your 2nd opinion to know if you're on the right path, it's like crowd sourcing and screen some coins that is highly recommended.
Sure, 1000 USD isn't a bit much for now but if you do it correctly then it might be tripled if you're lucky. Just be patient!
985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 16, 2021, 12:35:31 PM
Lakers are shooting unnecessary shots, they just shooting threes with the confidence of getting it but they missed the last three from Westbrook, Davis, and Melo.

Looks the real game will start in the second half because this time they are just catching the score each time the Mavs take the lead.

But look at this insane block from Lebron though they called it goaltending, this is amazing from a 37 years old guy.

I think the Lakers are just trying to have some fun with the Mavs to recover from the lead and catching up, and yeah they were bit overboard and went too confident that's why Mavs took it seriously to bury the Lakers in the 2nd quarter until the it reached overtime. Luckily Reaves made the last 3 points and closed the game in their favor to 107-104

As expected for LeBron James even at his age of 37 years old. He's so committed in his physical training to give out his best in the court, trying to block any possible contact. He is reportedly spending $1.5 Million to his fitness and physical trainings annually. So atleast, his investments to his body pays off.
986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: December 13, 2021, 02:19:41 PM
Bitcoin in some cases serve better than Ethereum because the fluctuations in the price of bitcoin governs the price of other altcoins because bitcoin is the master coin.
It's totally clear to the blind and audible to the deaf that without bitcoin existence other coin won't have come in existence, so with the fact, is making bitcoin to have domination over other coins, if properly observe well you will notice that if bitcoin price stabilize or decreases, it really affect any other coin, the acceleration of bitcoin triggers the increment of altcoins, so therefore i agree with you because is very obvious that bitcoin is the Masters of all cryptocurrencies, from my perspective.
There's totally a reason why ethereum is classied as alternative coins (altcoins) from it's word you can already know what's there to know and why bitcoin is the main coin of all-time. Yes both of them are decentralized but only bitcoin isn't affected by any manipulative schemes of a group of people that's why bitcoin has the total liberty to process transactions without a hitch.
While etheruem, is still decentralize but there's some reasons behind the prices now. Many whales are manipulating it, doing some pump and dump, and also ethereum's gas fee is much more expensive and crazy.
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $2 million worth of SHIBA INU bought on: December 13, 2021, 11:01:01 AM
Purchasing that amount would be a driving factor towards other people or smaller investors buying into Shib. Because something like that would make it even more attractive because why in the first place? Like why would an investor put that kind of money on the line if they don’t have any plans on having SHIB?

It could be another trap or a sign that it could go higher. As long as you know what you are doing and not forcing yourself to buy, you are good.
It's another pump and dump scheme to manipulate the market to a temporary hype that can attract small to medium type of investors who lacks knowledge about these scheme and trap made by whales. Because why would someone purchase such large amounts coins worth $2 Million, right? They're the unknown Elons Musks alikes.
Lucky for those who doesn't get involved to invest in memecoins to play it safe, and also there are ones who also got lucky to join the hype and made profits before the dump.
988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 13, 2021, 10:05:34 AM
I was using the internet today and read a very interesting news!

Klay Thompson is already playing normally and training and playing a contact game.
There are great chances that he will return to play in the NBA games.

But I didn't get a precise date that this event will happen.

By the way, who else here is looking forward to Thompson's return to the Warriors?

I guess every NBA fans are waiting for him to return?

Him and Steph are the most potent and dangerous outside shooters we have seen in the last 5-7 years and we wanted to see him again after what 2 seasons that he has been out?

Maybe late this year or early next year we might see a glimpse of Klay Thompson on GSW jersey and not on the bench anymore and hopefully he can get back fully recovered and 100% healthy.
I also read a thread regarding Klay Thompson's return this season, it's a great news for the Warriors that their point guard is coming back to play again after he tore his ACL way back Finals 2019. They didn't have the schedule of when Klay when play but they said it's now only a matter of weeks before we can sim him play again. With his return, Warriors is now even tough to beat because he's one of the big 3 and vital for the team.
989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin in the highest level of trust? on: December 13, 2021, 08:29:42 AM
Why do you even think that bitcoin is trusted? I know many traders who do not trust at all, but simply work for the reason that this is the most famous currency.
And what makes you even think that bitcoin isn't trusted or even reliable? You should put your own opinion, you are just saying that because you know some traders who allegedly do not trust bitcoin at all. You are supposed to put your opinion based on your idea and experiences about bitcoin. Lol
Another anti-bitcoin spotted  Grin

The fact that bitcoin is still standing tall until this very day for the past decade or 12 years, that alone can tell you about bitcoins reliability. Ofcourse it's the most famous currency of all time because there are lots of investors who trusts bitcoin mate.
I'm really having a laugh now, I didn't really expect that I can encounter this posts like he/she is just basing others opinion that is why he/she doesn't believe nor trust bitcoin. Well, there's nothing we can do about it because he/she has been brainwashed by other unbelievers of bitcoin. I think that's the biggest disadvantage of it especially the beginners who are new to this industry, instead they want to learn how bitcoin works, they met other experienced people who failed on investing due to lack of patience or other reasons.
990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: December 13, 2021, 07:35:53 AM
There's nothing wrong in investing projects especially the new ones, but there's no telling if those certain projects will totally work and survive in the future. In this industry, there's so many tokens, coins, projects that have been created but unfortunenately, only few survived because mostly those mentioned doesn't have utilities at all, they're just creating based on hype via names and taking advantage of the investors with a promising words that can eventually give you profits. Still they failed and some funds are lost because the projects or coins didn't survived.
As for me, I only invest to the trusted ones because I really take care of my funds because I worked hard for it. So, it's better to play it safe rather than take some risky investments without promising futures.
991  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: December 12, 2021, 01:01:05 PM
If Canelo is successful in Cruiserweight then he might stay there for a while, but yeah, him moving to Heavies? not gonna happen.

We aren't sure about that. Once a boxer is undisputed in every weight class, he is qualified for the next level. Their body is now switching to adopt a much heavy challenge as the training becomes more intense too. Canelo can move up a bit higher than Light Heavyweight if that's the goal but not a priority.

As of now, Canelo wants to destroy every fighter on the way regardless of their status. If where he will end up, we don't know.
That's exactly what I'm thinking also, Canelo is not planning to stop in cruiserweight division if ever he defeats Makabu, no that's not in his plan. Can't you see that he's accepting any rematch from any of his former opponents that he defeated? He's planning to move any division he wants with a goal to defeat any undisputed fighter.
992  Economy / Economics / Re: In 2021 to 2022 you decide your life and wealth on: December 11, 2021, 06:57:07 PM
Well, ofcourse I'll choose to be very rich, but somehow I don't want to be in sudden rich state because 90% of the chance is that kind of wealth and money will just be lost in my hands because I don't know how to handle it exactly, ofcourse it'll make my head grow big or to be arrogant.
What I want is to be is to start at the very bottom of the food chain to gain experience and to know the hardships just to reach the top and be really rich before this decade ends. In that way, that money wouldn't be in vain because I already know how to take care of it and circulate it properly while living comfortably.
993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin creator? Craig Wright 100% Satoshi Nakamoto? on: December 11, 2021, 06:20:43 PM
Why he waited for long time just to claim that he's the real creator? Is that because bitcoin nowadays is so expensive and very successful invention? Well that man wants a rewards probably. Lol  just imagine satoshi nakamoto is known from japan. But craig wright clearly not from asian countries.  Cheesy
How could you possible know that the creator is from Asia? Is it just because of the name Satoshi Nakamoto? That's why you can automatically say that he/she is from Japan or somehow in the Asian countries. Don't forget the fact the we are pseudo-anonymous, so we can't just say which part of the world we are. That's just a vague reasoning you got there.
So @Ararbermas, is it safe to say that you're from the Middle East or somewhere in UAE? Lol.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to avoid all scams? on: December 10, 2021, 04:08:11 PM
Do you think it is possible to completely get rid of scams?

Hello everybody. I think everyone who has ever been involved in cryptocurrency investments is interested in the question of how to protect themselves from scams and loss of money. Recently I learned about the CheckDot project, which creates a platform with which it will be possible to get an assessment of any project in the blockchain world. In theory, this way you can get rid of a lot of scams, but does it help?

What do you think, is it possible to somehow get rid of scams among crypto projects?

I think getting rid of a scam is not easy, but there are many ways to avoid the scam I think.
what we need to do to avoid these scams is to not be careless in investing for a crypto, then don't be influenced by the media that talks a lot about the crypto. In my opinion, putting this attitude forward will protect us from fraud and will not lose our money.
Being scammed isn't very pleasing because it will leave you staring in walls overtime. Even professionals are getting scammed especially novice. I've been there but even though it's not a large sum, still I worked hard for it not to go in waste.
So my advice is, always keep sensitive informations to yourself only, if it's inevitable then atleast make a hardcopy for safekeeping. Be aware of clickbaits because that's where they can find your informations and passwords. Always search everything to be knowledgeable rather than watch news that we know is a one-sided story.
995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley 2 - December 18 on: December 10, 2021, 02:40:22 PM
Don't worry. Jake Paul's reputation won't be changed even he will win continuously unless he will now fight a real professional boxer in their prime.
Without knowing what went on behind the scenes, and seeing evidence of Tommy's injuries we can't really assume this was a dodge. So, we can't really blame Jake Paul for Tommy pulling out. I wouldn't hold it against Jake in this case, I'm not a huge fan of Jake Paul, but he isn't the one to blame. Although, that doesn't mean Tommy is to blame either, accidents, and injuries happen there's no real way of avoiding them. Just unfortunate timing.

Woodley on his day isn't a slouch, I think the concern is his day was about 10 years ago. Nah, but seriously Woodley still possesses the ability to knock out Jake Paul, and that's what makes this fight at least a little bit interesting.
The only disadvantage of Tommy of pulling out is he can't make money of their supposed to be fight because of injuries, and those injuries isn't acquired meaningly to avoid the fight, no, it was really an accidental one.
Woodley made a decision to train before hand incase of emergencies like this that some fighter will have to step-up to the plate to provide the people entertainment for the tickets had paid. Somehow, Woodley knew this, and Jake Paul should really watch out for this fight because he isn't safe from his revenge.
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Floki inu be the next shiba inu? on: December 10, 2021, 12:50:07 PM
I guess not, Floki Inu is just another memecoin that is created after Elon Musk's dog (breed of Shiba Inu) and the hype of this certain memecoin was only temporary and ran for almost a week and the speculations is that this memecoin isn't gonna make to atleast 0.01 USD because basically Floki Inu has no utility at all.
On the other hand, SHIB is also a memcoin that is compared to surpass DOGE. Right now, SHIB is have a potential unlike Floki Inu.
997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Is HODL the only strategy? on: December 10, 2021, 10:09:11 AM
what else can be done other than hold when the market is going down like this. back to our first goal, if we aim to invest it takes a longer time to hold it but if we focus more on trading then of course we have to manage and use it in the near future. but for me bitcoin is good for long term investment and currently the price is also falling so its better to hold than to sell it and get the big loss. but if you want profit in the near future you can choose to trade with coins that are good in the market, I think it's a good choice.
Agree with that..

When you hold your coin especially for long term, this is the best tip i can give -> Checking crypto prices all the time is absolutely useless, unless you're an active highly trained day trader. Constantly checking prices will only cause you unnecessary stress!
Certainly, it doesn't make sense if you check the price daily, it's not that it will suddenly reap you serious profits overnight. Checking it daily will make you feel more anxious if see that the market is declining than usual and it's not what you want to see. So if your plan is for long-term then be patient, that's all you can do for now.
But if you want another strategy to gain then being a trader will be suitable for you, but I warn you, it's not so easy to begin with. You need to check it constantly, like time to time, and really requires patience and time in-order to gain.
998  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much would you like to see Bitcoin priced in 2022? on: December 10, 2021, 07:37:07 AM
Do you think Bitcoin will touch the 1 million milestone in 2022? I think Bitcoin will cross 80 thousand dollars in 2022. What do you think?
Nah mate, $1 Million is too much to ask for the year 2022 and it's highly impossible because as you said we haven't crossed the $80k milestone yet. So how do you suppose to know that $1M is possible next year.
IMO, bitcoin will cross way above more than just 80,000 USD next year, instead it's very possible that it could actually reach 100,000 USD or more. Why? Because bitcoin is getting more and more popular and the people are also starting to believe what can it give. Hence, financial freedom. I think it's what everyone wants.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: December 10, 2021, 07:30:43 AM
These dog coins have made few rich, but harmed many. They don't own any projects and are purely speculative. I've never invested in them because I don't like to gamble. One way or another, we can't get rich without taking risks. Everyone's investment is their own decision  Undecided
We can't really blame them for taking such risks and investing in these memecoins. Lucky for those who had made serious profits but unfortunately, there will always be the ones who will lose some funds as well. On the bright side, these experiences have taught those people to either stay away from these certain coins or be attentive and wise if they wish to invest on it again.
1000  Economy / Economics / Re: Introducing a state-issued cryptocurrency on: December 10, 2021, 06:20:15 AM
I think its a good decision by government.. What you guys think about it?

Are you joking?

In the Bitcoin forum par excellence, what do you think we will find? We are for a decentralized currency and not the digital versions of the crappy fiat currencies controlled by governments and central banks.
Well, it's almost looking like this OP is pro-government and anti-crypto because why would he even say that the Indian goverment made a good decision. Or maybe he/she just didn't understand why people choose decentralized currency over local fiats or centralized currency that is controlled and manned by the government itself. How's that a good decision mate? Huh
Being in a state of liberty or having financial freedom was truly the best option we had, and not being worried about the inflation because we can adjust to it.
