I didn't see the need to build a wallet because Metamask is fine until it came to this:
4. Gas-free transactions

^ So how will this be implemented? Is the gas-free transaction exclusive for swapping FUN to XFUN (and vice versa)?
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: August 13, 2021, 02:06:45 AM
If Tito Ortiz wins he needs to call out Dana White.

That's a fight I might pay to see.
LOL, yeah I would love to see that match as well.

Before that happens, he needs one solid punch to land on Silva's chin because that will most likely take him out. I think he punches harder than Weidman despite being older. Silva can dance around with his superior footwork while landing those jabs but I don't think he has enough power.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 13, 2021, 01:57:12 AM
~
Both fighters are well prepared
They are both conditioned physically because they've been training for their own scheduled fights but I wouldn't say they are both mentally ready. Finding the opponent's weakness and formulating strategies for the fight are important factors and I think Manny is at a disadvantage in that area. He is a dream fight for almost all fighters and I'm pretty sure many of them already studied him. In Manny's case, he doesn't know much about Ugas and he's given a short time to prepare.

Nasa number of pets ata yan o baka naman meron sila pinapaboran dahil marami nga din ako nabasa na kokonti nakuha o as in wala.

1105  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: August 12, 2021, 07:24:21 AM

So wala na problema dun.

1106  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: August 12, 2021, 03:06:26 AM

I tried gambling again to try their new in-house game Cryptos. Oh boy, luck was surely on my side with more than 10 rolls without a hit Grin I tried checking game history (from my profile) to know the exact number but it's not loading at all. Is ~1500 rolls too much for Betfury servers to retrieve?
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🔥My DeFi Pet Discussion thread🔥 on: August 11, 2021, 12:53:06 PM
Update on the upcoming boss fight:

^ so that's the reason why DPET pumped to almost $9 today Grin

I was expecting a 10 pets per wave based on the teasers released prior to the tutorial. I just hope there won't be any issues in  Prepare some BNBs (KAIs for Kardiachain players) because we might be spending some as gas for each MDP token (pets) sent to the portals. I just hope there won't be major issues with the BSC nodes.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: August 11, 2021, 03:35:34 AM
Too bad he had to pull put.

Manny is a real veteran and icon of the sport but he's in an unfamiliar territory now that he has to fight someone new on such a short notice (CMIIW). I hope he doesn't let his guard down because his opponent has nothing to lose and that's dangerous.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about cross-chain ETH platforms? on: August 11, 2021, 03:26:02 AM
I've been interested in projects working on cross-chain interoperability for quite a long time now but what happened to Polynetwork made me more cautious. I respect what Polka and Poly are trying to achieve but you might want to take a step back before looking for that potential project.

1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest hack on Defi/Crypto space worth of $600 Million plus from PolyNetwork on: August 11, 2021, 03:10:16 AM
$600 Million+ Shocked and I thought the flash loan would be the worst type of attack on DeFi platforms. Another proof that DeFi is still in the early stage and all these projects working on different experiments are very much vulnerable.

Anyone interested to know how it happened - The Root Cause Of Poly Network Being Hacked

I hope none of projects I follow that's also working on blockchain interoperability like Polynetwork suffer the same fate.

1112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hoard Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2021, 08:51:48 AM
~
But most people still choose to invest in Bitcoin.
What's your basis for saying most? If you're basing it on the price, we could say that people with deeper pockets just continue to top up their BTC holdings. If your basis is on the number of wallets holding BTC, there are probably more wallets holding ETH, BNB, or other major alts.

Because of the value of Bitcoin, people will hoard it,
On the contrary, people will choose other cryptocurrencies because it's cheaper than BTC in the hopes that it will also rise in value.
I believe "value" in the op is referring to the underlying value of an asset and not merely it's dollar equivalent.~
That's still unclear at the moment. It would be good if OP comes back and clarify that.
1113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hoard Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2021, 07:42:05 AM

~ There may be cryptocurrencies becoming legal tender, but not now, volatility and supply and demand need to be considered.
Although some of its citizens are not in favor of the decision, the El Salvador government already declared BTC as a legal tender. There are also news articles that says legislators in other countries are proposing to do the same. Before all that, Japan already recognized bitcoin as a payment method.

Now, that's a hole! How can you prove that it only works for Bitcoin? I'm a fan of Bitcoin, but I've acknowledged that hodling may work with other cryptocurrencies too. For example, Ethereum. If you bought ETH and hodled them, you'd have increase your earnings by far. What's wrong with altcoins that makes you think they won't stand in the long term?
Altcoins like ETH follow BTC. I think that's what pooya was referring to when he said it only works for bitcoin. As an experiment to dispute that, try holding ETH and see if the price increases while BTC is not moving or on a downtrend.

Which digital currencies weren't crypto currencies and which digital currencies existed before Bitcoin?
how about Paypal? Prior to that, there were smartcards.
1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin decision making on: August 10, 2021, 06:04:27 AM
Quote
1. Did Satoshi make all the decisions perfectly as relating Bitcoin before his disappearance?
Yes and no... There are certain smaller details that needed to change to make Bitcoin stronger and Satoshi's decision weren't very good.

Quote
4. Dear Bitcointalk users, are there some decisions you feel Satoshi should reappear and address, or are all things pertaining BTC in order?
No, because as I said above bitcoin is decentralized and Satoshi doesn't own the protocol to need to come back and dictate anything.
Sir, it seems there is a lil contradiction in your answers above, between numbers 1 and 4. You acknowledged that Satoshi's decisions weren't very good and yet you refute that he should return and correct or amend such decisions.
fixed your quote

Even if Satoshi returns to try and fix whatever issues Bitcoin has, he cannot do it on his own because he doesn't own the protocol like what @pooya87 said. He'll need to submit a proposal to change something (BIP) and it is up to the Bitcoin community to accept/reject the proposal. That's another proof that the network is not controlled by a single entity/company. Thus, nobody should represent it.
1116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many of the altcoins projects are empty shells? on: August 10, 2021, 02:59:19 AM
Am i the only one who think that this freedom of creating coins (specifically ERC20 and BSC Tokens)
given to new wave business man is slowly rotting our crypto playground!?
This has been discussed a lot since Ethereum made smart contracts more popular. It's not an opinion anymore when you say many altcoins are destroying the reputation of the crypto industry.

So what percentage do you think is actually real and based on serious projects?
Hard to tell exact figure but you'll have a better understanding when the bear market comes. Most developers will abandon their beloved projects with great potential.
1117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin decision making on: August 10, 2021, 02:48:34 AM
1. Did Satoshi make all the decisions perfectly as relating Bitcoin before his disappearance? Perhaps, he made proposals for decisions as regarding the validity of blocks in the blockchain, but this to me is not enough to apply in all aspect of an elephant coin like Bitcoin.
You can try to dig all his email exchanges with Hal and his forum posts.

2. If Twitter, Facebook, Amazon, Tesla to mention but a few, including other cryptocurrencies are embattled, we all know the faces that will spring up to defend the project. What if the world unites against Bitcion and demanding a representative to reach a consensus, who will represent Bitcoin.
Nobody should represent Bitcoin but, if each Government organization will work together to identify all developers contributing to the Bitcoin Core, they can probably do it.

3. Is Bitcoin a legal entity? If yes, who represents her in the eyes of the law?
The Bitcoin owner and maybe not the Bitcoin itself. It therefore means, that the Bitcoin owner can commit a crime with Bitcoin and not Bitcoin committing crime itself? Please, can someone address this for me?
No, Bitcoin is not a legal entity. Think of Bitcoin and BTC in the same sense as fiat. It's a tool that anybody can use but a tool isn't responsible of how it's used by the owner.

4. Dear Bitcointalk users, are there some decisions you feel Satoshi should reappear and address, or are all things pertaining BTC in order?
None.

5. Maybe Satoshi has not actually moved on, he might be in background actively participating in Bitcoin. I said this because;
6. I read the controversy behind the creation of Bitcoin cash. If such scenario happens again, and more than 51% is on the negative side of the election, what will be the fate of Bitcoin?
What controversy with BCH? Do you mean to say BSV? That's the one attacked recently. In the unlikely scenario of a 51% attack on Bitcoin, its reputation as the most secure blockchain will be destroyed. Who knows what might happen after that. Perhaps it could lead to a market crash.

Also, Satoshi not moving on is unrelated to your no. 6. Are you implying that he's part of the attackers?

7. I wouldn't ask how will the decision be made when 21million bitcoin is mined, because I know it can be decided due to open source code of bitcoin. What if before 100yrs time, a new world order emerges that will render Bitcoin a menace, who will order the halt to save humanity?
Let the next generation deal with that when it happens or about to happen.

8. I believe there is a decision making board for bitcoin order than the people as being portrayed.
Who knows? Nobody is preventing the miners, node operators, and developers to work together.

~
I am saying that he may win via Decision or a submission, but I didn't expect a TKO/KO win over Derrick Lewis, I have said that comparing the fight with Alexander Volkov fight that Cyril Gane doesn't have power with his strikes,
Even if he doesn't have the Ngannou power, he's still a heavyweight. An exhausted Lewis taking many punches, kicks, and knees from a fresher Gane would pretty much end in a submission or a TKO. Gane simply decided to rain punches on him to end the fight.

~

Lewis always seems like he's on his back foot, and like he hasn't come in to fight. I think it's just his style. But so far he was able to prevail (more or less) with that.
Yeah it's been his style to wait and let opponents come near him. It's like a bait. He knows he could end the fight with one punch but Gane knows that all too well.
1119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 09, 2021, 10:00:56 AM
@Darker45 sums it all up. This is about the token volatility and not exactly about the game itself (same old buy high sell low and vice versa).

To be honest, this is not what I had in mind when I read the title. I was expecting the topic to be more about PVP or PVE in each NFT games where players have to stake their weapons/skills in battles.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LIST OF #PLAY2EARN GAMES 2021 on: August 09, 2021, 08:43:58 AM
I don't understand why they make all of these game coins/tokens so difficult to accumulate. Buy/use BTC, trade for BNB, covert to PYR, FIRE, SKILL...
These tokens are new and they won't be listed on top exchanges with multiple trading pairs after they're launched. It's out of the team's hands. It takes times before you see direct BTC-SKILL/PYR/FIRE pairing. If you are into these new P2E games, just stock up on BNB/ETH/WAX or other coins commonly paired with them.
