Damn! Another $5 gone Grin I thought me and Wolves are gonna become clear winners after HT. Now I regret having checked the score in the early minutes that made me bet on this match. Such is the unpredictability with these mid-table and relegation teams.
1962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 16, 2021, 12:46:30 PM
Placed DNB for Wolves at 2.2. I had no intention to bet on Wolves vs. West Brom match but the odds quickly changed to my liking with WBA taking the early lead. There's still plenty of time to turn the match around after that penalty. I just hope nobody gets a red card.
1963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 16, 2021, 12:37:47 PM
Union Berlin vs. Bayer Leverkusen will be playing few hours from now. I usually do DNB when two closely match teams face each other. I simply chose UB this time with odds at 3.2 as I felt tired analyzing games and then lose later (happened in my last three bets) Grin

If you look at the track record of Union Berlin which has always lost to Leverkusen, I seem to have a different opinion with you. I prefer Leverkusen
who will win the match, especially now that Leverkusen are in the top 3. What is certain is that Leverkusen don't want to lose points, so they can
still compete at the top. After all,  the difference in points with Leipzig is only 2 points apart. So it is very possible that Leverkusen can move up to
second place by replacing Leipzig, if Leipzig fail to win against Wolfsburg.

Leverkusen has been out of form for a few matches. They have not won the last 3 matches. So they will be desperate to win today's match. And it is very important for them to win today's match. On the other hand, if we look at the statistics of the past matches between Leverkusen and Union Berlin, we can easily understand that Berlin is a very easy opponent for Leverkusen. Berlin has not won any of their last 4 matches against Leverkusen. They had lost 4 matches.
Welp, I guess my no analysis wins the day. Although I didn't put too much though into the game, I did look at UB's previous five matches which are against tough teams by the way. I didn't check H2H or injuries from both sides but I knew this team is tough and they are playing at home.

Wolfsburg vs. Leipzig - another difficult match to predict. VFL draw no bet at 2.9 looks good but I'm still skeptical. They're good when playing at home though.

Man, growing up Arsenal were the team to watch. I know football moves in cycles but wow, they are a poor shadow of their former selves. I wonder how long Arteta will get to transform them? They really are struggling right now for an identity.
Transformation takes a lot of time. When you are trying to create the needed harmony in order to see again a former Arsenal from the times of Venger you need to try a lot of different combinations. You learn a bit from each game and based on that data you determine what works best.Give Arteta a bit more time and I think we would soon see a much better Arsenal than now.
After the "The Invincibles" era, all of Arsenal's team that followed were all "kids" because we keep hearing the same old "they will be more mature next season". If Arsene kept on rebuilding since their 2003-2004 title, I doubt that Arteta can do much better. What he needs is more experience from lower leagues or maybe two more years as assistant coach/manager in another team.
1967  Local / Pilipinas / Re: The Lightning Network FAQ on: January 15, 2021, 09:15:36 AM
~
According dito naghahanap ng Pinakamura at Madaling ruta , kahulugan ba Non boss eh mamimili sya either of the 2? or priority nya ang Murang ruta ? kasi parang mahirap makahanap ng pinaka Maikling ruta at kasabay din ng Pinaka mura.
Magandang tanong. Gawan natin to ng illustration: Magbabayad si Juan kay Pedro

Scenario A
Route 1: Apat na payment channel (tx fee - 1 satoshi)
Route 2: Tatlong payment channel (tx fee - 1 satoshi)
^ Pipiliin ang route 2 kasi mas mabilis at pareho lang naman ang fee.

Scenario B
Route 1: Tatlong payment channel (tx fee - 2 satoshi)
Route 2: Tatlong payment channel (tx fee - 1 satoshi)
^ Pipillin ang route 2 kasi mas mura at parehas ang bilis.

Scenario C:
Route 1: Tatlong payment channel (tx fee - 1 satoshi)
Route 2: Dalawang payment channel (tx fee - 2 satoshi)

1968  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins.com after locking my Bitcoins my login history got deleted on: January 15, 2021, 07:47:23 AM
What do you mean log in history? Proof of ownership shouldn't be an issue if you can still access your account. If what you mean is you forgot your log in details like password, you can still recover it thru the "Forgot Password?" option. Did Localbitcoins disabled your account? Please provide more clarity about your issue.

There's a similar scam wallet out there and it's still active

Code:

^ DO NOT OPEN

A seven year crypto veteran has fallen victim to that website. He committed a rookie mistake of giving out his private key.

I guess there will be more that will come out in the coming days.

Another reminder:
1. Double check the handle of telegram support.
2. Double check handles of exchanges that will offer help. The guy was about to fall victim to another scam when a scammer pretended to be from HUOBI exchange.

2018 - Bank of America: Bitcoin Bubble Is Already Popping
2021 - Bitcoin boom is a bubble, warns Bank of America Securities

As you can see, the same bank has been saying it's a bubble for years. They will keep on repeating that until they decide to convert their fiat holdings into BTC (although there's a possibility they are buying already). Don't fret about these FUD from banks and zero coiners. Carry on and keep buying bitcoin.
1972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 14, 2021, 09:52:24 AM
Really disappointed with the Spurs draw at home (lost my parlay with Man City).

~ Aresenal play Plalace later on tonight. Finally a chance to say aressenal have the form. Not many times this season and home advantage.
I find this match tricky. Arsenal have finally put up a winning streak but looking back at the stats, they haven't won against Crystal Palace in their last four matches. Could this be another draw?
1973  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Crypto Browser Extensions 2021 on: January 13, 2021, 04:07:23 PM
I only have Metamask from the list. Instead of downloading extensions for price tickers and gas trackers, I just bookmark websites like preev (for BTC), Coingecko and ethgasstation for quick access. I'm curious though, have you compared the gas price suggested by the extensions and ethgasstation.info?
1974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 13, 2021, 03:18:53 PM
It looks like we have a sure double for tonight. Both Manchester City and Tottenham are playing at home against much weaker teams like Brighton and Fulham.I think it is an ideal bet for tonight to combine both games at an odd of 1.7 almost as it has really high chances of happening.
I did just that - 1x2 parlay with total odds at 1.9

~
On paper this will be an easy bet without the need to analyze it, with matches that have been done before about MU and Everton maybe it will be an encouragement or a trigger for City and Spurs to win the game too, considering this is a game that definitely wins on paper.
Nah, they don't need the results from other matches as an encouragement. Both teams are looking to win the title and that's more than enough. Let's remember that City is two games behind (one after Brighton). They could be just one point behind Man United and two points above Liverpool if they completed 17 games.
1975  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: January 13, 2021, 02:57:02 PM
~ By the way is there any rules to follow in order to be eligible for your jackpot prizes?
Other than the general Terms and Conditions, here are the specific rules applicable:

Quote
Hit those sevens to win the progressive jackpot!
Winning a jackpot (JP)

Win 100% of the JP for getting 7 sevens, 10% for getting 6 sevens and 1% for getting 5 sevens (prize also depends on bet amount.)
The sevens need to be consecutive and start with the first number (from left to right.)
To win the maximum JP prizes, the bet must be $10 worth in any cryptocurrency. If the bet is smaller, you get a share based on your bet amount (for example: a $0.25 bet gets 2.5% of each JP prize.)
The JP amounts in BTC that you can win with your specific bet amount are shown as estimation on the left top.
The estimation of the total USD/EUR value of the JP is shown on the right top.
JP is shared between currencies, but shown and paid in bitcoin.
For BTSLR there is a separate BTSLR JP (bet 1,000 BTSLR for full JP.)

Progressive jackpot (JP)

2.8% of all wagered amounts on Dicey 7's go to the current JP.
0.2% of all wagered amounts on Dicey 7's go to a reserve JP. If the reserve JP becomes more than the current JP, the difference will move to the current JP.
For non-bitcoin amounts we use the exchanger rate to add bitcoin to the JP.
As you can see, you must bet a minimum of $10 worth of crypto to be elligible for maximum jackpot payout. Unless you have a big bankroll, you'll have to be very brave or foolish to take that offer. The price for $0.25 isn't that bad either. A $100 fund would allow you 400 rolls. Who knows what might happen.

However, I think a lot of these so-called Bitcoin whales have very open communication lines with each other. I am not saying they are talking of pump and dump plots, though.
I guess so. A lot of early guys are flexing on twitter and became somewhat friends but I also doubt they "work together". When it comes to the real money game, it's every man for himself. I bet they counter-trade without them knowing. Heck, I even remember a funny story of someone trading against himself. He forgot about the bot he set up on the other side of the trade and thought it was someone else.

I don't know if the same can be said with institutional investors though.

~
This is a lot easier said than done. The oceans are full of whales but it is impossible to ride on and with them. In a way, we, retail investors, are at their mercy. We're just crossing our fingers our entry and exit points somehow coincide with theirs. Or why not stick to hodling instead of trading? The long term gains are probably sweeter than the short term ones.
It's difficult because we aren't pros (yet). They find it easier to follow the current/trend.

Okay lang kabayan kahit medyo matagalan ang confirmation, hindi naman rush yan. Thanks.

1978  Economy / Trading Discussion / "Let The Pump Be With You" - Ivan on: January 13, 2021, 01:14:21 PM
I can't count how many times I watched this video from a crypto twitter guy and I laugh every time I hear that phrase. If you want a good laugh too, go ahead and watch it here

Other notable lines:
"The power of the pump always comes back to you if you respect the pump of other people"
"If you are really inviting the pump into your life, it will come"

I don't know if the guy is applying the so called Law of Attraction. If so, it's probably the worst application I've heard Grin

This is just another evidence that your favorite influencer is just gonna dump on you once the coin/token they are shilling pumps. I heard this is also the same guy who promotes NFTs then went on to create his own card and sold to his followers.

edit: I remember he also said "he's in it for the tech" but he's spreading of the pamp now.

edit 2: Someone made a transcript

Atletico Madrid and Sevilla clash. I already placed my bet on Atletico at 1.9+. It's pretty good considering they are top of the league, playing at home and had more rest days compared to Sevilla. They lost in Copa del Rey but who cares about that competition Grin
