1921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: January 26, 2021, 03:33:07 PM
Wait what?! The Ben Askren that was on the receiving end of the fastest KO in the UFC history? An MMA fighter who specializes in wrestling is competing in a fist fight Grin Is this fight for charity? If yes, I'll support it. If not, I hope nobody buys tickets/PPVs.
1922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 26, 2021, 03:22:36 PM
The La Liga competition still has 19 fixtures to go through (20 for Atletico) and in my opinion, both Real Madrid and Barcelona are still in the race, but in order to become champions, they have to show a better performance from now on and also have to expect that Atletico will slip up.
Hoping Atletico Madrid to slip up is one of the things that might lead fans of these two teams to believe that their team will finish at the top. But it's difficult because Atletico Madrid are in good form this season, they are hard to beat.
Madrid and Barcelona are still quite competitive as they are only 3 points away, but Atletico have a fairly comfortable point difference at the moment which will allow them to compete without pressure. 7 point with Madrid and 10 point with Barcelona.

The hope of the two ranked 2 & 3 team at this time for up to first is that they must continue to win matches and hope that Atletico lose in the next few matche.
Real and Barca are still in the title race if you based it on the numbers. Atletico will surely lose games in the second half of the season and so are the two chasing teams.
Are you sure? The Colchoneros are two games behind (yes, two games, meaning 6 prospective points) and already lead the standings by 7 points! Either they get hit bad by an atomic bomb or I do not really see them losing ground anytime soon. They may lose a game or two, that is normal, but you are a but deluded if you think a team like this year's Atlético will lose their chance to win the title.
Sure of what? That Real and Barca are still in the race? YES (mathematically). That all three of them will lose games in the second half of the season? YES.

Two games behind? To the rest of the teams, YES. To Real and Barca, NO (they are one game behind).

Deluded? Don't try to be a smart ass. Read my response to @hd49728 above. Take time to comprehend before charging in.

Atletico have a save gap in points on the table and their confidence is strong, and more positive than Real Madrid and Barcelona. They will lose games but will Real and Barcelona can get less lost games than Atletico and win more in the second half?
Who knows? We can only speculate for now. Atletico Madrid has done themselves a huge favor with a good lead but we don't know if they will succumb to the pressure from the two chasing teams. We'll find out as the games are played. We all know things like season ending injuries could happen to key player/s in any of the remaining games.
1924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 26, 2021, 02:51:57 PM
It looks like Jesse Lingard's most likely destination is West Ham. Tottenham is said to be interested in the player as well but Man United is playing it smart by not letting their title rival reinforce their squad like they wanted. What's going to happen in the next few days could be crucial for all top 5 teams.

So all those purple ones are already included in the Ethereum total? Whoever created that list needs to be slapped on the head and sent back to school
On what had suchmoon mentioned above, are highlighted in purple is already in overall included on ETH? IF yes then this one really misleads to those who havent much idea on what those projects below about.
There are no other information mentioning it but most likely yes since they are Defis/dApps on ethereum. I already asked the website creator to confirm. About the design, yeah it was not newbie friendly. I almost sent a DM to the other designer including a link to SM's post Grin

~ This is why it is important to keep bitcoin conservative: fixed blocksize, consistent, 10 minutes block.
Yes, straight forward. No smart contracts that would further inflate the transaction fee.

I placed bet on Bilbao to win. Their confidence is still high from defeating Real and Barca to lift the title. They are also playing at home.

It looks to me that a random guy purchased a domain and redirects to Goldman Sachs as joke or a way of whispered advertising (you would not made this thread without it Smiley )
Definitely not advertising that company  Grin

Did Goldman Sachs just bought the domain and redirects it to their own or someone did it for them who owns the domain on his own? This is funny but there might be a reason for this.
I'm more inclined to believe that someone is trolling that company. It's hard to imagine that a known business entity have to resort to such advertising method but who knows? Maybe they've become desperate.

I think it's just right to lock the thread now.
1929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bilaxy exchange and its fee on: January 25, 2021, 04:47:21 PM
In the hopes of saving from Uniswap trading fees, you ended up with an exchange that has equally high withdrawal fees Grin Good thing you kept a cool head and looked for a better way though. I wonder how much fee they charge for Doge? It should be less that $0.20.
1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Insane Fees on: January 25, 2021, 04:39:28 PM

- source

I guess this means many people are in love/hyped with DeFis and dApps that they don't really care about how much gas they pay when interacting with smart contracts. I must admit that I'm also guilty of paying high fees on the ethereum network but it's out of necessity. It's pay high for a successful transfer or try to outsmart it and pay low only for the transaction to fail (you'll pay fees either way).

I read some members asking when ETH becomes no. 1, well, you got your wish  Grin

Signing in is a bit of a hassle. Can't we have a secure process where we don't need to open up our email for the code?

If you're not going to make the crash more stylish, maybe you can allow players to just disable that line and we can just stick to the numbers. I really don't like it to be honest.

On accessing game history, is there no way to browse up or down? I would also like to see the result of my net gains/loss for the day.

There crash game somehow a bit laggy on my end especially when refreshing the website.
I had a similar experience.

When you visit the site, we create your account instantly, with a random username.
You can edit it under the account section anytime.
I can confirm that I was able to update my information and retain the balance from the auto generated account.

You can withdraw your full balance whenever your reach 0.00010000.
We already have few players that managed to withdraw without depositing.
We do not forfeit the faucet amount when withdrawing.
I have to see this first. What's your minimum withdrawable amount and the withdrawal fee?

Regarding the design, we like to keep it very simple and clean, it helps getting faster performance on mobile devices.
But thanks a lot for your ideas. If you have other suggestions, please let us know.
I can understand the reasoning about the minimalistic design but it doesn't have to be boring. You don't have to add images or banners that makes loading slower. Simple changes in text from white to red can make a big difference.

You can also make the games more visible by placing it on top.

I tried playing without creating an account but I was given an account named "Ivywatcher" with 0.00000120 BCH balance. I presume that balance is not withdrawable and any profit you gain from using that free BCH will be forfeited. About the design, you'll need to improve more on that. The black background is boring. You can at least make it darker or add another color that compliments it.

1936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 24, 2021, 03:47:48 PM
I already placed my bet on Man United winning against Liverpool. I'm hoping this doesn't end in another draw with neither of the team scoring. Maybe Ole can mount a more attacking style this time. Liverpool's confidence ain't that high at the moment and they are more desperate to win. Desperation causes more blunder.

1938  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Cherry Burst at $41,515 Jan 8,2021 on: January 22, 2021, 06:27:25 PM
Do you really think that $41K is the top? Michael Saylor recently said MicroStrategy bought another $10 million worth of BTC at $31.8 on average. Surely he sees more growth. I saw an article in passing with a headline that says an institutional investor dump their BTC holding because of the FUD caused by the fake double spend. Now that that's been cleared, it's time for another round.

After going back and forth, I just settled with Draw No Bet for Gladbach. If they can do it against the visiting Munich, they can also do it against Dortmund. This could end up in another high scoring draw but whatever Grin BTTS anyone?
