There is another ongoing phishing attack
Ongoing means the websites are still under the attackers control but that's not the case on PancakeSwap anymore. My posts on related topics: ~ Pancake swap team were able to regain access but there's another platform (CreamFinance) who failed to do so and were forced to deploy another website.
EDIT: BOTH PLATFORMS HAVE REGAINED ACCESS OF THEIR DNS Additional references: We have regained access to the DNS.
Some users might still be affected, depending on their DNS resolution as some propagation time may be needed.
Will send another update shortly.
Thanks for waiting.

Has the Pancakeswap service returned to normal? I see that some people are able to swap there, or maybe the hack doesn't affect the swap?
They have regained access to the DNS since yesterday but some areas weren't ready yet. You can monitor it at https://dnschecker.org/#NS/pancakeswap.financeI have no issues accessing the app using SafePal but I read some web users couldn't log in because it was marked by Metamask and Brave as phishing.

What's this hack in the news now on BSC?
If you are talking about what happened to Pancakeswap, it's a DNS hijacking. During the attack, anyone who would access the official website will be redirected to a fake/scam website. Users that have been redirected were asked to provide their seed phrase again in order to access their account. Needless to say, those who gave it were f*cked. Pancake swap team were able to regain access but there's another platform (CreamFinance) who failed to do so and were forced to deploy another website. edit: creamfinance regained access as well.

~ Mukang ayaw talaga mag-paiwan ni coinsph since dumadami na ang P2P users, and nakipag partner sila sa Binance to meet that competition.
Napagiwanan na sila actually. Gusto lang nila humabol. Mga naunang P2P payment methods sa Binance: - Bank transfers through Instapay
- Paymaya
- GCash

~ i dont know why elon musk always say about doge in his twitter all the time i believe elon musk have a secret plan with doge coin and if he reveal it BOOM doge coin will fly to the moon alongside with spaceX
This is actually a good question and I've been wondering why he's so interested. He set up Doge mining rigs with his kids for fun. He also mentioned that he supports sell off by major Doge holders citing too much concentration as the main issue. Maybe he's also intrigued/curious how the coin remains standing after it was abandoned by the founders and no active development before WSB pump happened.

~ We need more than just them being in competition with each other, they need to be taxed a lot and there should be no way that they are going to write it off no matter what, we have to hit their money because they take all of it and they do not give back to community, what we need is another kind of Teddy Roosevelt type of President that breaks off monopolies but this time big tech companies.
Tax them higher and they will only pass it to consumers. Tax them to the extreme and they can file for bankruptcy which isn't good for the government also. Once these companies are dissolved, the rich people behind will only distribute their wealth by investing in newer tech companies. That doesn't really break the monopoly does it? The same thing happened when the oil monopoly was broken. ~ In the first place, these tech companies are never friends. They only collaborate whenever they see fit and take advantage off each other. Would they help other companies if it doesn't benefit them one way or another? Hell no. These companies are businesses, and the main goal of most if not all business is, well— make money!
Friends with (mutual) benefits.

~ The Heat needs some improve if they want to be a championship contender, though they reach in the Finals last season but there performance is not strong enough to have a chance to beat the Lakers, maybe this addition would help if would happen.
Their great run last season could be accredited to the team's unpredictability because they caught almost everyone by surprise. They got every opponent's attention now and it won't be easy for most the youngsters that were instrumental last time to break out. The addition of Lowry would definitely help boost this team.

I read there was a new box offered but I didn't even notice it. Did Betfury remove that or was it all sold out? How many of those boxes were up for sale?
edit: so there were 2,000 boxes. I still find it hard to believe it would be sold that fast even if it was just priced at 0.01 BNB (1 box per account).
Yes, only 2000 boxes that were sold out quickly (I believe in less than 36 hours). No requirements, low price and interesting returns (20% for 1 month). You need to quickly nowadays to grab new boxes! I haven't missed a day claiming free boxes. If that box was really up for more than 24 hours, I must have suffered temporary blindness for not noticing it Anyway, yeah I guess you're right that we have to be quick nowadays. More competition is probably the drawback of inviting other people to buy those boxes.

You might find @xtraelv's The most iconic bitcointalk threads. History on Bitcointalk. handy. The collections starts from 2009. Also @GazetaBitcoin's Bitcoin: The dream of Cypherpunks, libertarians and crypto-anarchistsFrom here on things get more complicated for me and hopefully you can help out. -2017 bitcoin boom/2018 bitcoin crash
-Altcoins highlighted 1 to 3 pages. This can lead to a difficult situation though of which ones to include, and they come with their seperate timelines. And I have about 10/11 pages left for the 2013-2021 timeframe. Please suggest, how to fill these pages.
This is going to be tough. You have to start with the very first altcoin called Namecoin. Bitcoin clones and Forks, Ethereum and the boom of ICOs. You don't have to mention all the erc-20 tokens that launched their token sale and failed or projects abandoned by the team. The following 2 points would be interesting since they are recent, not sure if it would be wise to spend 2 pages on NFT’s - Cryptopunks are the first NFTs to be sold on the Etherium Blockchain in June 2017 - Beeple sells a $69 million NFT on Christies auction. March 2021
How about a separate publication? This will probably consume a lot of your time than you imagined.

For the curious to know where the recent rumors started: I don't see any problem if Coinbase would list Doge in the near future. It's already popular thanks to Elon's help and companies like the Dallas Marvericks accepting it as payment for tickets and merchs. It remains a good currency for small payments with its cheap fees and fast confirmation. The question is whether dogecoin can be compliant with the regulation that already followed by coinbase, we know that if coinbase is the most popular exchange site and it's also following new york's regulation too.
I doubt that Doge won't pass any regulation test. AFAIK, no ICO and premine. No guaranteed profits promised to any holder.

I don't know if this is related to the unethical marketing involving influencers or not but I just wanna let Roobet know about this. So me and some good developers found a exploit in Roobet's system which makes it possible to see the outcoming number.. We had 80% sucess rate using this.
We need people to try it for us that are serious
Please contact me on discord if you think you are a good beta tester!
Please also have a reason why we should pick you (only picking 3 people)

It's possible that this user is bluffing and just trying to extort money from the gambling platform. It could also be an attempt to scam gullible and greedy players.

It's the small bluffs that makes players who play the conservative way still successful doesn't it? If another player had a pair of six for example and he saw that I raised early, he'll most likely fold even if I had 2-3 because he knows I usually have high cards on hand when I do that.

a) why it goes so downhill after release? all ICO sell it or what is this a sign of? are all coins with chart like this (first price high, then fall down) a sign of something not going well?
Downhill after release is the point where early/private investors dump their tokens and took profit. Maybe some of the team members did the same. When you see a chart like that, it's obvious that something isn't right. b) what is this enormous high thin peak? some transfer to exchange or? 13th August 2020: 0.03USD -> 13 USD -> back to 0.03USD
The pump on initial exchange listing is usually a price manipulation to attract noobs into buying out of FOMO. Some exchanges were also involve in that kind of practice before. I'm looking at the chart in August 2020 but I do not see $13. Perhaps you mean $1.3? In any case, there was probably a big news that made some peple hopeful and bought more. The immediate dump was another case of people taking profits from noobs buying into FOMO. c) if the coin is only on hitbtc - is it a scam coin as hitbtc or it can be just a good coin on a scammy exchange or is hitbtc any good? Have read a lot of sad stories on reddit about hitbtc that it is a selective scam or something.. don't know.. using binance so far...
HitBTC is another exchange that do not have a good reputation. They were also accused of price manipulations by disabling deposits and withdrawals while the coins/token is pumping.

I have no intention of riling up anyone, but as a learning trader it is good that we discuss facts with one another.
Does the learning trader means you're already familiar with all types of chart patterns and know how to read/use indicators? If so, there is no reason to use demo trading anymore if you're here to make profits. It's time to develop that thick skin/skull, cold heart, or whatever it is that people call nowadays.

~ Well, I just give my advice, returns always come with risks. New projects can be very profitable, but many will die as soon as you make an investment.
And how do you even know that as soon as I invested in a new project, it will die? I've invested in new projects in the last two or three months and they aren't dead yet. I am actually up. Sorry but you are sounding off as someone who never invested in anything this year or last year and tells people as if you know what you're talking about. We are in a bull market and everyone is happy with their investments, but for sure there will be a correction and a lot of altcoins will die.
Nobody is saying otherwise but do you know when that will come?
