1241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Twitch secretly end payments with Bitcoin? on: July 05, 2021, 08:19:09 AM
When was the last time you paid using BTC? I assume you did so about 3 years ago.

There's this 2019 article that says it's been removed - Twitch Removes Support For Crypto Payments

Here's another one - Streaming Service Twitch Removes Crypto Payment Options, Reddit User Reports

edit: my bad.
1242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know the Cards game..lucky nine, pusoy and tong its on: July 05, 2021, 08:04:46 AM
Lucky 9 is a P2P baccarat while pusoy is a 3-way poker. Tong its is the only filipino card game that I don’t see any similarities on other foreign game but these game is very popular in the Philippines
Yeah tong-its is the only card game on list without an international counter-part that's played on most casinos.

I tried searching for a similar game and India's Rummy came up. I don't know if that's popular internationally though. Another game with similarity is the widely known (among Asians) Mahjong but it's not a card game.
1243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Deploys New AML Solution Amid Regulatory Pressure on: July 05, 2021, 07:20:56 AM
~ For this reason I personally wouldn't leave substantial amount of coins on Binance.
They won't go bankrupt just because of these regulators are going after them. They're trying to work with them but at the expense of their users. Are you are afraid that Binance will provide regulators more information about you? If so, why do you even use a centralized exchange?

It’s an asset class that we cannot ignore anymore.

1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make XRP and TRX bep-20 tokens on: July 05, 2021, 06:12:39 AM
Binance bridge doesn't work with TrustWallet
You can use MetaMask to do it. I suggest you create a new wallet for this swapping purpose so you don't have to expose your main wallet to the network.
How can you swap using Metamask when Metamask doesn't support the native chains of TRX and XRP?

@OP, what @rhomelmabini said works. I've done that using different coins ans also staked in several Yield Farming platforms similar to PancakSwap. If you don't have a Binance account and lazy to create one, you can download Safepal mobile app then use their built in Binance dapp (no account required).
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ABC and POS on: July 04, 2021, 04:20:49 AM
A fork of a bitcoin fork wouldn't affect the real bitcoin (BTC). The rebranding had an impact on the coin's price but too little to cause any change or hype in the market. I didn't even know about this until it was posted here. If anything, it could affect BCH, BSV, the soon to be POS protocol ETH, and all other staking coins/tokens.

On a positive note, it's nice to see them removing bitcoin in their name. I wonder when will Roger and Craig follow? Grin
1247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 03, 2021, 04:03:23 AM
^ Yeah I would wish some players weren't injured BUT IT'S REALLY PART OF THE GAME. He could just choose to retire but he still play because there's still money in it and that's a fact. If Lakers would have made it to the Finals while he's resting, I bet he wouldn't be on twitter complaining about injuries. He'll probably say something proud about battle scars.
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why women are the minority in crypto land? on: July 03, 2021, 03:48:41 AM
They are probably afraid to ride the crypto market volatility. Women are said to be more emotional than men.

Or maybe they just prefer other money-making opportunities like selling various stuffs online. I don't know about you but all (live) online sellers I see on social media are women Grin
1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero: A good long-term investment? on: July 03, 2021, 03:35:41 AM
I'm wondering why hasn't Monero taken off yet?
I think mixers/coinjoins/tumblers/blenders have taken a good share of the market from anonymity and privacy-centric coin like Monero. Just imagine if those were not present, Monero would have been the no. 1 choice.

Do you think government regulations have affected Monero's ability to go higher in price?
Maybe. The FATF regulations scared some centralized exchanges and delisted XMR. I was expecting anon coins to surge with the increased pressure from regulators but I guess users prefer to use mixers.

1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most centralized cryptocurrency? on: July 03, 2021, 03:23:35 AM
~ Why do you think such cryptocurrency is centralized?
Some reasons are having someone at the top that can stop/control the entire network and it's hosted on centralized servers. Others might also add the lack of blockchain transparency (closed source).

Will decentralized counterparts ultimately prevail?
You'll have to point out these decentralized counterparts.I don't know of any decentralized BNB, XRP, or STEEM.
1251  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️BFG listing party on: July 03, 2021, 03:01:35 AM
~
I am not sure if it is going to be staking or farming. They said that the earning will be BFG but they didn't say if it will be a LP that will earn us that BFG or will it be a staking.
It's going to be a single BFG staking pool. It seems Betfury is not that familiar with how AMMs and Yield farming platforms use the term Farming. They only based it on the definition from Binance academy which is locking up cryptocurrencies and getting rewards.

where is the dividends coming from otherwise, we need more and more gamblers.

The dividends are from BetFury itself. As an incentive for players "supporting" their tokens, they give a portion of their profits back in dividends so it's not all about price appreciation.

Just like companies issuing the same to their shareholders.
I think you are missing @tygeade's point here. He probably means where will dividends come from if there will be less gamblers but I think he's referring more to BFG miners. The introduction of staking (farming as Betfury calls it) kinda discourages mining. Apart from the six months locking period, the post-listing mined tokens will not be eligible for staking as stated in the rules posted by @CryptoNika.
1252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Btc or Usdt? Which is better to gamble with? on: July 03, 2021, 02:15:50 AM
A dilemma for being a gambler and an investor at the same time Grin Gambling with BTC should be fine right now as the price is ranging from $30K to $40K (with $30K as the perceived bottom by many). You can still use USDT as you like especially if the plan is to use your winnings to buy more BTC. You'll just have to deal with the added fees.

The main issue with USDT is it's not 100% backed by fiat. If something happens to Tether's other liquid assets, you'll probably be affected as well for holding USDT. So yeah, you might as well consider other stable coins.
1253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Please Help Me !!! on: July 02, 2021, 09:17:47 AM
Something just doesn't add up. You said you withdrew CHZ using the Chiliz network from Binance but the only options I see there are BEP-2 and ERC-20 (using mobile app). There was no BSC or native chain. Would you mind making it clear for us?

~ It shows the token as Erc-20 but when I add the contract address it does not show up. Could there be a problem with the contract address?

0x7bcb8bB59298ba3Aed51a6a0348187Ba4ffD1c69 this is the contract address of the token.
This is the contract address of CHZ 0x3506424f91fd33084466f402d5d97f05f8e3b4af
1254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I claim my pBUNNY token? on: July 02, 2021, 07:58:50 AM
~
but I don't know if you ever heard about the flash loan attack to BUNNY's platform, which caused a massive collapse of its price, so the team decided to issue this particular and temporary token called pBUNNY (or platinumBUNNY), to help price recovery and I was having problems getting this pBUNNY token.
Did you have Bunny tokens right before the flash loan attack? If none or if your wallet wasn't included in the snapshot, you're not eligible for any compensation. As far as I know, those who were affected were automatically given pBunny in their wallets in proportion to their Bunny holdings.
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Baby Doge? on: July 02, 2021, 07:36:24 AM
With a circulating supply of 420,000,000,000,000,000, I seriously doubt any thinking investor would buy that and hold for long term. Elon's probably bored and playing with people's greed and gullibility. Those traders using bots probably made a lot of money from noobs.
1256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For "Bitcoin Ded" Topic creators on: July 02, 2021, 07:19:08 AM
There is definitely a motive to the creation of these "Bitcoin Ded" threads and that
is to relieve newbies of their recent investment.
Some threads are created by smart ass people to flex their intelligence and not exactly to create FUD because they have no funds to buy. Some of them are probably just students/jobless begging for attention and money. I don't want to mention names but you can probably have an idea if you've been visiting the economics board Grin
1257  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Kardiachain Signature Campaign | Accesible Blockchain for Millions on: July 02, 2021, 05:11:15 AM
Was nice to promote Kardiachain for free...  Grin
How come? You're still included for the week 2 payout based on the spreadsheet. Funds are also secured for at least one (maybe two) more weeks.

My bad, I was staring at week 1
1258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kardiachain Discussion Thread on: July 01, 2021, 07:55:00 AM
As a Mydefipet user, investor, and gamer, I haven't used Kardiachain yet and using BSC to play Mydefipet, and base on my findings Kardashian can improve the way you play this game, there are sure a large convenient in playing Mydefipet using the Kardiachain and the thing that I have seen was the fast transaction it gave, the free opening of a breed egg (I am still confirming this yet because I have just seen it on another player) and I guess not having most of the errors on BSC wile using Kardia chain,

Still not using Kardiachain but eventually, I think in the future, and because of the game Mydefipet.
You better try play it on Kardiachain and experience the difference on gameplay speed and extra feature. AFAIK, There are some advantage when you play it on Kardiachain due to there partnership.
I also understand that fees over the network are cheaper that's why I also wanted to try. Fees from repeated buying/breeding of eggs and evolving of many pets are becoming quite costly even on BSC. If only Kardiachain could add wallet web extension for Firefox users, that would be great. They have one on Chrome but I don't use that browser.
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How do you find the new and best farm/pool staking platforms ? on: July 01, 2021, 06:40:50 AM
How do you find the new and best farm/pool staking platforms, and is it different for each network?
I find them from different sources. There are websites that collects all these information for each blockchain and updates them regularly. Examples are https://www.bsc.news/bsc-projects and https://polkaproject.com/

Trying to focus more on MATIC but any high APR, decent reliability ones I am searching for constantly like most people I assume.... So you know how you search for ICO's in icodrops etc., is there something similar for staking?
This might sound bias because I'm wearing their signature and promoting their platform but do check out Kardiachain. Their TVL keeps rising which should be a good indicator.
1260  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Newcomers ask for help, what should I do if I recharge the Kucoin card? on: July 01, 2021, 06:16:13 AM
~
What I mean is that kucoin deliberately seized the deposit, which caused me to lose money, and I needed to hold my ID photo and fill in a complicated form to get my own money, and my funds can be checked at https://etherscan.io/,
What did the Kucoin support say after you completed the requirements? How long has it been since they froze your deposit?

then What is their purpose for doing this? Anti-terrorist organization money laundering?
I can't speak for Kucoin but it could be either of the two or both. It's possible that they traced your ETH through blockchain analysis and suspected it came from some blacklisted or under watch wallets.

No one will use eth tokens to launder money
You do not know that.

I've read articles of connections between N. Korean hackers and Chinese merchants. I'm not saying you are connected to them. It's just that some of their coins might have ended up in your wallet through multiple transfers.
