1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ⛔ WARNING Exploitation in Play To Earn (P2E) NFT Games on: August 09, 2021, 01:57:25 AM
I understand your disappointment and you're right, but I never thought of doing a survey to post on the forum with detailed records, like a very detailed article, I did a survey just for me, evaluating the risks and gains of the analyzed projects, when I since it didn't pay off, I went to analyze the next project, that's what I believe most people do to optimize their time, it doesn't make sense to waste time logging data for something that failed if you already know it's not worth it. But I never imagined it would be this disappointing, that's why I posted it here as a warning with very summarized data from my final analysis, separating Axie Infinity from the other projects considered ToP, "Imagine the ones that are not considered TOP". And I saw that some people are already aware of this, after they deleted my response on a famous YouTube channel here in my country, Brazil.
Your very summarized data doesn't give us much information to think about. The warning is appreciated but you are posting in a forum where most readers wouldn't simply take your word just because you are a developer. Anyone can say one thing or another but we'd prefer if you can present the data to back it up. Is your analysis focused only on the monetary benefit in relation to the time spent playing the game? If so, how about something from a dev's POV? Graphics? Gameplay?
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to register a NFT Domain without Unstoppable Domains? on: August 08, 2021, 08:32:04 AM
Or, in other words, how Unstoppable Domains does its work? Why should we pay for its service instead of creating and registering a NFT Domain by ourselves?
Here's the source code if you are interested learning how it works and cloning/copying to create your own https://github.com/unstoppabledomains

Nobody is stopping you to do that and compete with unstoppable domains but do you have the skills and other resources? Anyway, best of luck.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 08, 2021, 08:13:38 AM
I couldn't see any significant hit by Derrick, you only see the frustration on his face when he can't takedown Gane and then gave up. The leg kicks are just too much for Derrick to bear and then he got tired quickly. Very smart of Gane to run away when Derrick is about to launch, It is funny but running must be the best option there.
Well, he doesn't want to end up like Curtis and his strategy worked out for him. It could be boring but nothing wrong with sticking to strategies to get the W.

Gane might still not be enough to fight Ngannou. Francis is just too much of a beast.
Ngannou probably has the same gas tank as Lewis. Not fully engaging in the first two rounds and just tire him out could still work against him.

~
However, the best storyline is Cyril Gane winner. Francis Ngannou and him were teammates before Ngannou left the team. Ngannou also blamed their coach after his loss in his first fight versus Stipe Miocic.
Yeah that would be a good rivalry to build on and which the UFC can milk Grin

I just wanted Lewis' UFC journey to end up in a belt even if it's interim. I think this is the closest he could get and probably his best/only chance. I didn't expect him to be in this position to be honest.
1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 08, 2021, 06:31:50 AM
I wanted Lewis to win for the sake of a good story line but Gane was just too good for him. I'm glad I didn't bet on this one because of my personal bias Grin Now, waiting for Ngannou vs. Gane as I'm pretty sure that's what everyone wants to see now. Jones vs. Gane or Jones vs. Miocic would be exciting to see as well.

What do you think of Aldo's performance? I thought he rolled back the years.
1125  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: August 08, 2021, 05:44:04 AM
Okay guys, after reading a lot and making sure that I am investing the money that I don't need immediately, I have bought 12,625 FUN tokens few moments ago.  Grin

I just wanna know how much it has benefited to those who already enrolled into the program right after it was launched?

Also, by what time they will start sending me those WoF ?

I have locking period of 360 days and holding 12,625 FUN tokens, so that means I should be getting 8 WoF right? And it will be the same usual sent through email?
At 12,500 FUN tokens, you should get an instant 5 free WOF spins after 24 hours. AFAIK The locking period is not necessarily related to the number of spins you get. You'll only get 8 WOF after 360 days of holding.

I lost track of the exact time the WOF resets. It could be between 10:00 and 11:00 UTC (the same time I get those promotional emails).

To be clear, those free spins from the premium rewards are not sent through emails. Just log in to your account and you'll see a banner there.
1126  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥NetEnt release 🔥 NFT Battles |⚡️Free BTC+BNB| 📈HotBit listing on: August 08, 2021, 04:25:37 AM
You guys managed to stake BSW on Biswap earlier? They offered like over 100,000 % APR on BFG if you had 10 BSW to spare and damn, those early stakers were lucky.
I missed it. That's a juicy APR but the limit of 10 BSW per wallet is kinda discouraging. I wouldn't have unstaked my BSW from the auto-compounding pool or sold any BFG/other tokens just for this.

~
Unfortunately this time it didn't have much effect on BFG at least today BFG has down by 100% by 2x  but now back to normal price
It won't pump as expected because you're staking BSW to earn BFG and not the other way around.
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ⛔ WARNING Exploitation in Play To Earn (P2E) NFT Games on: August 08, 2021, 02:14:09 AM
~ Cry Disappointing... I spent 5 days studying in depth this Play To Earn (P2E) / Games NFT market.
Why not share all the P2E NFT games you reviewed the last 5 days and add your detailed findings? It could be fun to discuss and I'm pretty sure different opinions will be thrown.

1st Axie Infinity (As BitCoin) - Minimum Day 150 SLP = USD$ 27,9672 / Month 4500 SLP = USD$ 839,061
Others (Like AltCoins) Average TOP's - Minimum Day US$ 1.5 / Month US$ 45

Through the data presented above, it demonstrates that only Axie Infinity is worth it, which today is very expensive to enter, which is the reality of the lucky few.
.
Angry The others, it's pure "makeup exploration"!
.
  • Pay high to enter!
  • The more people enter the game, the less value they receive, like (farm), (stake).
  • Dies in network fees where you transition NFT + NFT Games company fees for any move!
  • A lot of ranked NFT Games are SCAM, some people notice right away and some people only notice when they've been inside for a while.
.
A new market for exploiting the misfortune of others is emerging.
It is a help in exchange for exploitation for those who are "bankrupt". Which is the situation for most in the world today...
Not that I'm disappointed but I was expecting a more technical review because you opened up your topic stating your skill as a software developer. I think almost everyone in crypto is pretty knowledgeable with Math. Please use dot (.) for decimals instead of comma (,) just to avoid confusion as that's pretty much the standard here.

I'm not defending every NFT game that followed after Axie but it would be unfair to say they are exploiting gamers without any solid evidence. It's true that I find some of them overpriced but that could be the doing of speculators in the open market. For sure the marketing team can create hype but they're not pointing a knife at you to buy their token and play their game.

I had a second thought but locked my FUN tokens for a year as well. I just don't have the time to be trading or monitoring the days to unlock/lock in each period. I guess I'm satisfied with the fact that I don't lose my daily free WOF spins while I earn interest.

To those who are criticizing the promotion, I'm pretty sure everyone in here are pretty much aware of crypto's price volatility. It could drop 90% of its current value after a year, so what? I've already enjoyed the perks for that whole year. Anyway, you're not being trapped with the offer. You are given an option, take it or leave it.

Can post atleast the Screenshot of the Admin post for reference on this discussion? The only thing I only get on there news was there teasers about the boss and games. I'm glad how the Finals turned out to be. I don't know about you but the game-winning block by Batum in the semi-finals was made more worth it by how close the Gold medal match ended. The French team was a worthy opponent for the US.

1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🔥My DeFi Pet Discussion thread🔥 on: August 07, 2021, 04:30:40 AM
There is no official announcement yet but an admin already leaked the information that egg sale (from the incubator) will be stopped once the marketplace opens up. According to the roadmap, that's going to happen in Q3. If you're still holding on to your DPET tokens, you might want to start getting your pets now. The next time you'll be able to buy, it will be from the pet breeders.
1133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Xiomi Portugal start accepting crypto on: August 06, 2021, 05:10:10 AM
I'm not surprised with the move because Portugal is known as one of the most crypto-friendly countries in Europe but I'm more intrigued with the brand. We all know that Xiaomi is a Chinese company and we also know (based on published articles) the unfriendly stance of the Chinese regulators towards crypto.
1134  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥NetEnt release 🔥 NFT Battles |⚡️Free BTC+BNB| 📈HotBit listing on: August 06, 2021, 04:11:53 AM
^ I wouldn't be confident about that. They need to get the required volume first before attempting Binance or Kucoin but how can they do that when they cannot even add liquidity to Pancakeswap which is a very popular AMM? I doubt a Hotbit listing can sustain an increase in volume.
Hotbit would have to upgrade their servers then. Usually these kind of things are common so surely they have to learn from past mistakes.
What I mean is that BFG trading volume on Hotbit can be pumped but it will be temporary. Those who would attempt to do that to increase chances of Binance/Kucoin listing won't be able to sustain it.

There are more genuine users on popular AMMs like Pancakeswap than Hotbit and they can help sustain the trading volume.

~
Just a few months back, Hotbit suffered a security breach. Customer data exposed:

Quote
Another security disaster from the cryptocurrency business has surfaced online. This time, the Hotbit crypto exchange has admitted service disruptions as some attackers hacked into its network. While they assure the customers’ funds remained safe, their personal information suffered a breach.

Source: https://latesthackingnews.com/2021/05/03/hotbit-crypto-exchange-confirmed-its-hacked-customers-personal-data-exposed
This is why I had zero confidence in using low-tier/less reputable CEX.

1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: August 05, 2021, 10:23:24 AM
Philippine Medal Tally:
  • Gold - 1
  • Silver - 1
  • Bronze - 1

Boxing: Eumir fell short on his semi-finals match as he settles for bronze while Carlo Paalam won unanimously and will be having another shot for the second for the Philippines.

On another news, Philippine Olympic committee announced that they will also reward non-medalists with ~$10,000. Not bad I guess.

1138  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How do you buy physical items anonymously with Bitcoin? on: August 04, 2021, 07:27:04 AM
@avikz, will the post office still ask for the receiver's real name from the sender or is a PO box number enough for that?

~
Much better if you do buying bitcoin on your own, just use a legit and popular exchange, have a basic account then you can purchase btc anonymously even though your address will be revealed.
OP is trying to buy a bitcoin collectible which is a physical item and not the digital BTC.
1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Chain Wallet on: August 04, 2021, 06:55:35 AM
I currently have 95 USDC , 0 ETH 0 BNB, in my wallet. I can't get it moving because I have insufficient gas, which is BNB currency on this wallet. Is the only way to move this USDC from here, by buying BNB, and sending it to my wallets address? Or can I do something specific to avoid that?
You will really need BNB to move any token on the Binance Smart Chain. It's the same case with transferring erc-20 tokens where you need ETH for gas. When topping up your wallet, make sure you choose BEP-20 (BSC network) when you withdraw from exchanges.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/31950939/golden-state-warriors-stephen-curry-gets-4-year-215m-extension
Quote
Two-time NBA MVP and three-time champion Stephen Curry has agreed to a four-year, $215 million contract extension with the Golden State Warriors, making him the first player in history to sign two $200 million-plus contracts, his agent, Jeff Austin of Octagon Basketball, told ESPN.
Bad news for other teams. Curry ain't available no more. The Golden State Warriors locked him until the average retirement of an NBA player.
Congrats to Steph. He can easily retire after that four-year contract expires. The deal probably includes a parting gift from the Warriors management for what he's done to the franchise. I just don't know if that's also a great business deal as they prepare for the future campaign without him. Other players will also try try to push for that amount when they negotiate their contracts.
