1881  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Gcash gumalaw na at mukhang papasok na sa crypto on: February 07, 2021, 03:26:13 PM
~

Kung sino man masipag dyan, pwede niyo download yung wallet at i-verify.

It was a shocking ending, Cory Sandhagen did a fast KO to a vanguard that is Frankie Edgar, That Flying was very effective indeed mostly for a shorter opponent,
I did not expect a flying knee finish in the Frankie Edgar fight and Cory Sandhagen timed it really well,
I just finished watching the highlights and dang I lost count on how many times I replayed that part! That was all planned. His team knew exactly that Frankie would pressure him and close the distance. The height advantage made it easier to execute that move.

The sound when that knee hit that jaw  Shocked

edit: I wonder what Ben was thinking when he saw that fight  Huh

1883  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Nakakabaliw na Fee ng coins.ph on: February 07, 2021, 11:19:50 AM

Over 130K pending txs Grin

1884  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Alt Season on: February 07, 2021, 11:09:50 AM
~

Although Ethereum eh nalagpasan na at nakagawa na ng all time high, the rest eh nag struggle parin sa pagkamit ng all time high nila.

2. Galing naman sa https://www.blockchaincenter.net/altcoin-season-index/#how365

Quote
Is it Altcoin Season? NO

What is an Altcoin Season?
If 75% of the Top 50 coins performed better than Bitcoin over the last season (90 days) it is Altcoin Season.

If you don't like it then go look at something else on the internet. What is the problem here?
Typical replies of shills and blind supporters. I wouldn't be surprise if you and @ElonCoin2000 are the same person.

~
C'mon man, I doubt anyone would put money into this project looking for returns, it looks like a token created just for heck of it. If any investor does otherwise may be they need to look into their investment strategies.
Lol what now? We're here swaying gullible people to stay away from useless tokens like this and here you are telling them to change their strategies AFTER they lose money. Don't ever overestimate other people from discerning legit projects from trash. I've seen enough people who would FOMO just at the announcement of a whitepaper release. I've also read articles of Coinbase blocking withdrawals of people to save them from joining fake giveaways.

If you don't feel like warning people from investing into tokens like this trash ElonCoin, that's fine but do not undermine the efforts of people who do.
1886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 06, 2021, 05:43:33 PM
I don't understand why liverpool bother to loan minamino to other club, they could've keep him as rotation option or plan b if their main forward (salah, mane, firminho) aren't playing well (like the last few games). Right now their other forward is only origi & shaqiri i think. It's not like their defense is good either, with everyone injured they should've bought or loan someone until this season is over. If they lose againts city then i guess they are out of title race for real.
Maybe they've already given up on the title and wants to cash in from their players? If that's not the reason then it just means that the manager doesn't believe he could make any difference on/off the pitch. Most often than not, teams makes decisions that doesn't make sense to the eyes of fans.

Who are betting on Man United vs. Everton? Odds at 1.59 is a little for me and I don't want to give Everton any handicap. BTTS or not looks like the better bet to make.
1887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: One-way communication channel with the Moon is now open, send ERC20 to the Moon! on: February 06, 2021, 04:46:49 PM
If I only I can withdraw all the dusts I left on exchanges and my wallets to a single address, I'd send them to the moon. I also have plenty of useless/dead erc-20 tokens I'd like to load to your "space ship" but that would take me at least $5 in gas Grin You should tweet about this and tag Elon.
1888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about new projects on: February 05, 2021, 05:17:21 AM
Why do almost 90% of the platforms introduced through this forum have to create their own coins and tokens immediately?
Major reason is $$$ Another reason is that it's easier to create a new token, a website, a whitepaper, and hire people to spread hype about the potential of this project. The market is also less regulated that's why they are so brazen in taking gullible people's money.

What I've learned about the founders of giant platforms like Paypal, Alibaba, Google, Twitter, Facebook, etc. is that they don't.
Facebook's Libra (now known as Diem) would have been fully launched by now if not for SEC and other regulator's intervention.

They just make a platform that really hopes it will be used by people around the world without creating tokens to attract investors early in the journey (maybe they did but it was privately so that in the end we only heard the story). So that when their platform becomes a well-known brand, the money comes naturally through big investors, sponsors, and partners from other well-known figures/brands.
If cryptocurrencies and smart contracts were around 50 years ago, who knows if these large companies that we know today would have done the same thing?

Doesn't look that serious even from scamming perspective, let op have fun.
Right. Tell that to people who would possibly buy that token and later regret. I wouldn't underestimate the gullibility of some people here.

Tokens like this is what really destroys the image of cryptocurrencies.
Far from it.
Tell me how the thousands of useless cryptocurrencies like this one didn't tarnish the image of crypto? Try to join investment groups outside of your circle and you might see.

~
yes, don't be too serious because this could just be hype or just for having fun in private. even if you finally get to the moon, it will take a miracle.
I guess you never saw a pump and dump token.
1890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: "Trading Bitcoin is a sign of a lesser intellect" .-Michael Saylor on: February 05, 2021, 04:49:54 AM
I can understand Michael Saylor's DCA strategy but those who trade to increase their bitcoin holdings would probably beg to differ. There are many assets that are appreciating not just in fiat value but also in BTC. Go to Coingecko and set BTC as the base currency and you'll see the likes of ADA, DOT, and LINK do well.
1891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: $60+ in fees for a single withdraw. Could exchanges survive this? on: February 05, 2021, 04:28:55 AM
~ And in the end, the user is always paying the expenses.
Users pay for convenience when they are using exchanges and exchanges try to deliver by making sure users get their transaction/s done without any delay.

You can do the same tricks traders use when moving their funds from one exchange to another and that's selling their coin to another with cheaper fees (ERC-20 token to Doge/Trx/Ltc for example) then convert it back.

Another trick you can do is compare the fees the exchange is asking to the recommended fees by mempool explorers. I've done this in the case of bitcoin. I noticed that the transaction fee for slow withdrawal is higher than the fast withdrawal suggested by mempool.space.

Last night I paid $90 for gas fees. In many countries, the subsistence level is lower than $90 lol. I hate ETH. I hope soon, ADA, AVAX, HBAR, ZIL or DOT will replace ETH.
May we know if this is also a transaction from an exchange (CEX/DEX)? This is too expensive if it's just P2P.
1892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Launching new memecoin on: February 05, 2021, 03:09:51 AM
We're launching a new coin called ELON!
We are currently offering 10,000 ELON at a price of 1 XLM. A few hundred have already been bought.
You can find us at stonkhub.org
If there's anything we've learnt from dogecoin, it's that memes are the future of finance.
Get memeing  Grin Grin
Let's send ELON all the way to Mars
Doge is enough for a meme coin please. Why did you even create that? I only see it as a money grab taking advantage of the current hype surrounding Doge and Elon. Make something that can be of real use. Tokens like this is what really destroys the image of cryptocurrencies.
1893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Help with Metamask Chrome extension on PC on: February 05, 2021, 02:45:20 AM
~ So, I set up the amount to send and press confirm.  After that I see the circling orange bars and eventually the transaction got failed.
The cause of the transaction failure is most likely due to low gas limit (this is different from gas fee) and not an issue with your hardware wallet. You can confirm this by checking with explorer like etherscan.io

The next time you send, you can check the recommended gas fees at https://ethgasstation.info/ first. For gas limit, 21K is the normal amount but perhaps you can increase that to make sure your transaction goes through.

1894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The altcoin announcement forum, absolutely useless now on: February 03, 2021, 06:22:03 PM
5 or 6 years ago, only about 95% of the coins announced were shitcoins or outright scamcoins.  Now it is impossible to even find something worth investigating.
Grin I can't tell if that's a compliment or what.

Is there some forum somewhere that is (a bit) moderated that may filter out some of these obvious shitcoins/scamcoins?
There are other forums dedicated for altcoins but moderation or filtering is more or less the same. About 95% of ANNS here are probably posted on those forums too. Perhaps you'll find Coingecko a better source if you're looking for potential coins/tokens.
1895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Coins? on: February 03, 2021, 05:46:04 PM
is it a joke or what?
It's originally a meme coin but it has come a long way since then. The founders already left and development is basically dead but it still has a huge community backing. It's convenient when moving funds because it's fast and cheap. I personally prefer using this over XRP.

~ Rumors that Dogecoin is like bitcoin yet i dont see many websites using it.
It is accepted in many online crypto casinos. Even the most popular porn website Pornhub accepts Doge as payment method for their premium subscribers.

1897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yield App (YLD) on: February 03, 2021, 04:31:46 PM

How yield token are created?
They are minted through the Ethereum smart contract.
1898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Report ETH for SCAM because $80 fees on: February 03, 2021, 04:26:38 PM
We should make a thread in Scam Accusation forums because ETH steal $50 on transaction fees for simple token transfer.
Some transfers in MetaMask show as $120.... WTF!
Who will you accuse? Ethereum developers? The miners? The users/exchanges/custodial services that sets high gas fee for faster confirmation? Nobody stole anything. AFAIK, everyone is asked to verify if they are willing to pay for the gas fee before sending.

~ So what are some alternatives? What platforms can UNISWAP also run on easily
with low fees?
Leave ethereum DEX and Dapps for now until something is done on Ethereum. Try to check platforms running on Binance smart chain. Fees are much lower there.
1899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yield App (YLD) on: February 03, 2021, 04:15:53 PM
~
how then works if built on Ethereum blockchain?
Ethereum are mined but tokens built on top of its blockchain like YLD cannot.

Earning here is similar to letting your money sit in a bank and earn interest or depositing in an investment fund then letting the fund managers do the work. The difference is that it's supposed to be decentralized and the yield is higher.
