1141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin videos on Youtube....and a suggestion for our possible BCT channel. on: August 04, 2021, 02:58:56 AM
The holding chin is actually decent compared to those screaming thumbnails like what that youtuber from D.I.Y Investing channel does. Anyway, I get the point. I actually prefer they simply use charts or other graphics that shows none of their faces.

Hotbit - the hotbed for shit and hardly shilled coins. Also, one of the favorite exchange of bounty hunters. I don't mind if they go crazy over BFG token though. They can pump it to Pluto for all I care. I'm just here waiting while staking but ready to sell at any time Grin
1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll]Vote for the best NEW NFT game of the year 2021! on: August 03, 2021, 10:19:04 AM
My vote goes to the game I've been playing of course (My Defi Pet).

I've also taken a liking on Binamon but I haven't played the game yet. I bought a card and pulled monsters that has a higher algorithmic cost than the value of the tokens I used to buy it.
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeing some market cap vs price arguments on: August 03, 2021, 06:59:15 AM
~ People are arguing that buying something that is cheaper per token, is inherently better than looking at the market cap of the project? Where are you seeing such arguments?
That's the argument. You can actually see that all over especially in social media but it's worded differently. They say they do not want to buy BTC because it's already expensive that's why they shill their tokens with quadrillions of supply. They also ignore the the current market cap because of the periodic token burning as promised by the devs.

@OP, market cap used to be the standard or the measuring stick when evaluating a coin/token for investment until XRP and DOGE pumps happened.
1145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: August 03, 2021, 03:00:45 AM
~

We are already assured of a 3 medal haul. Another boxer has another bronze already and be going up for another potential semi-final in his next fight. Eumir Marcial knock out his opponent in first round with still 49 seconds left.

And if another of our boxer won his next fight, another sure bronze for us courtesy of Carlo Paalam.
4th medal secured as Carlo Paalam won by referee stoppage against the 2016 Rio champ. One more fight for a chance at another gold.

Neshy Petecio's match is just over an hour from now. Hoping for that second gold!

EJ Obiena is another one that will be participating in Pole Vault's Final.

Too bad Carlos Yulo missed out on the bronze by a small margin on Vault.

1146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The more popular Bitcoin is, the more valuable it is? on: August 03, 2021, 02:01:03 AM
~ If Bitcoin is used to pay salaries, is it necessary to collect taxes?
BTC as salary is basically a regular income if you asked me (fiat was simply replaced). It should be subjected to income tax unless it's specifically stated that it's exempt under the country's tax laws.

~ If it is more convenient for everyone to buy bitcoins and use bitcoins for daily payments, will the price of bitcoins get lower and lower?
Are you referring to BTC price in terms of fiat (USD)? It still depends on how much they (buyers/sellers) would trade it. What we do know is that BTC has a limited supply unlike fiat and it's one of the reason why its value has risen up since inception.

~ Do you think Bitcoin will be devalued in the future?
Market demand will determine this.

how many WOF spins u got
Four spins a day only. I'm sure those who had more FUN have gotten more of these 5,000's but they're just silent.

~
but apparently still some people believe in Esteban Ocon lol.
My guess is that they probably know Esteban by name only and not his record/accomplishments. They saw the odds and placed a bet.

I just feel that maybe this wheel of fortune thing should have been just on the website and not from the mails?
I like the idea of putting them on the website instead because I've also missed some of it when I forgot to open (or I'm just lazy). @hosseinimr93 has a good point though. I would have unsubscribed as well if not for the free WOF spins on the promo emails.

On a side note: won today 4800 sats on the free WOF spin!
Won myself 4700 sats yesterday. Today, it was 5500 lottery tickets. A few days ago, it was 5000 RP.

I'm not trying to hype those who haven't bought and stored FUN tokens on their Freebitco.in account yet but they are missing out on these perks Grin Seriously, there's no reason not to when you're going to buy at this level.
1149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you protect your Bitcoin from market volatility? on: August 02, 2021, 09:40:04 AM
Get in early on projects YOU think have long-term potential. That takes a lot of research and it's going to involve a lot of luck too but it will be rewarding if you get it right. Another way is to buy coins on a bear market (again, these projects must be long-term).

In both instances, you won't have to worry about price volatility because you bought them at an extremely low price.

Exchange to stable coin
My first thought when I read the title.
1150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin survey suggestions needed.. on: August 02, 2021, 09:14:23 AM
~ one member should provide only one question which he thinks is best suited for the same.

I will choose some of the best questions which will suit my survey as i have made some of my also.
Since you are just asking for one important question from members, this will be made easier if you can provide a list of questions that you already prepared. We don't want to repeat what's already in there and we could think of other questions.

As for me, Would you rather hold $1000 in your bank account for five years with little interest or would you buy BTC if there's a chance that it could become $10,000 in five years?

1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A comment about cryptocurrency that's stuck with me on: August 02, 2021, 06:44:40 AM
"Cryptocurrency is like castle built on the cloud, and the people who live there think they are separate from the earth and the laws of it."
And so centralized cryptocurrency exchanges/custodial services, the bridge that connects crypto and regulators, were used as a tool to bind those living on the clouds with the laws on the land.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin target for 2021 on: August 02, 2021, 06:34:17 AM
The latest I've heard anything about LTC is it's now accepted as a payment method on Newegg. It looks like they are also partnering with other gaming platforms. As to the development side, it's still about the mimblewimble. You should probably hangout on litecointalk.io to stay in the know.
1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin staking on: August 02, 2021, 05:44:07 AM

ApeSwap is a new platform, right?
Wow, I should look for this T&C and also see some reviews whether this is indeed legit or not.
Maybe it is high enough because of still a new platform, we don't know whether it will decrease or not after several months later, earlier may be better
It came after Pancakeswap but I wouldn't say it's new. They had a marketing campaign here before which was managed by @Hhampuz.

Anyway, they pride themselves for having their own liquidity pool and router unlike many platforms on BSC that are still routing through PCS.

At the moment, they are competing with other projects on Binance MVB II (Most Valuable Builder) program. They made it to the top 10 and will most likely shoot for the top 3.

They are also on Polygon (cross-chain).

About the rates, every platform changes APR depending on the liquidity/demand. IIRC, the rate was higher when those pools were first launched.
1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Basic and wonderful Mandala Exchange information (especially if you are a Whale) on: August 01, 2021, 11:08:49 AM
Mandala does not have plans to lower the withdrawal limit without KYC.
Yeah, they are probably just waiting for the regulators to come knocking at their door before they follow Binance. It's not really up to them.

Anyway, regarding whales, I doubt they haven't submitted their KYC prior to the latest announcement. When you think about it, they would not be using a CEX if they are trading large amounts of BTC (or Alts). To my knowledge, a whale has more than 2 BTC.
1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best token for staking right now? on: August 01, 2021, 09:37:28 AM
What have you heard about Near and whether it is worth staking this token
I have no opinion of this coin/token. This is actually my first time reading about it. It's surprising that I do not see it on AMM platforms despite being listed on most popular CEX like Binance, Okex, and Huobi. I can only assume that it's not available for staking in third party yield platforms.
1156  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can one store/swap Bitcoin? on: August 01, 2021, 05:28:03 AM
If you're fine with using closed source non-custodial app, you can try Safepal. They have a built in exchange for swapping but you can also make use of their binance dapp. You will have more trading option and the order book is open meaning you can set the price you want to sell.

Something interesting from today's "VIP" email:

Quote
FUN Savings at FreeBitco.in: You would be able to earn interest on your FUN Token holdings at FreeBitco.in too! Make the most of your investment with our brand new savings program.

This is great news because I have a surplus amount of tokens that are not giving me any benefits. This should give people a reason to hold the token and discourage selling.
Yeah this caught my attention too when I read it.

I have extra tokens as well and I was looking forward to converting them back to BTC during this ongoing FUN trading competition on Binance. My target selling price wasn't reached yet though. I guess I'll just have to hold on to it and earn interest.
1158  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you think about future trading and best coin for scalping ?? on: August 01, 2021, 04:16:48 AM
Hello Guys what you think about future trading is it best for make maximum profit
Stay with spot trading if you're not that good yet to take on futures trading. Maybe you've seen some newbies flexing their profits on social media and want to try it as well. They probably just got lucky when BTC was still moving up to $60K.

and which coin is best for scalping and intraday trading?
Ideally, I prefer coin/token with a good spread and a decent daily volume. I do not touch coins that's being hyped up because of an upcoming announcement.
1159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel like there is no way to keep up on: August 01, 2021, 03:59:06 AM
~ Like. My main source of entertainment is just crypto news videos.

That's why I've came to the conclusion that I have to risk it and invest more heavily into alt coins.
I'm not going to question the altcoins you've already invested but maybe you should consider NFT gaming with play to earn feature as well. You could be a simple hodler if you want or support the ecosystem by becoming a player also. Use some of those earnings from the daily grind to accumulate more BTC or to pay up your bills.
1160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your coin tier list? on: August 01, 2021, 03:33:02 AM
1. BTC
2. ETH
3. BNB
4. ADA

and some tokens on BSC like Cake, Bake, Banana and NFTs on gaming which is already mentioned by @X-ray above.

~ but Binance has better marketing, but also more scams.
The scam/fake projects launched on Ethereum were probably higher in comparison with BSC. We'll see the same scams happen on other blockchains as they become more popular.
