5141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kucoin stole my Polymath? on: May 10, 2019, 04:05:17 AM
Apparently Kucoin decided to delist Polymath. Anyway can I still get it or did they steal my money?
You will be able to withdraw your Polymath tokens for a given period without any problem, so they are not going to steal your "Money"

Here is my address that I will always have:

5143  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Cloudbet Signature Campaign | Member - Legendary | Local Posters Wanted! on: May 10, 2019, 03:31:21 AM

That really looks bad  Shocked
By the way, Hhampuz Open a reputation thread last month, where you can discuss this kind of things instead of the campaign threads  Wink
I know he will get it sorted or try to warn the culprit.
I'm always looking for ways to better myself and becoming a better cogwheel in the machinery that is bitcointalk. Thus I've opened this thread where you are free to voice opinions on my trust list, my trust ratings, my campaign management or anything else I'm involved with.

Have you received negative trust from me and feel it was unjustified? State it here and we'll try and sort it out.

Have I included users on my trustlist that are outright scammers and I've just not paid attention to it? State it here and I'll review it.

Am I enrolling spammers in my Signature Campaigns and it has to stop? Just let me know and  I'll review that too!

Nobody is perfect but we can always strive to be a better version of ourselves tomorrow.
5144  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: lootbits.io is a scam or not on: May 10, 2019, 02:51:32 AM
-snip-
Please keep us updated here on how it goes.
I did see some players say that as you approach 70% i think, the chances of leveling up massively reduce so it makes it very hard to reach the withdrawal minimum limit.
If i locate the comment, i will post it here.
5145  Other / Meta / Re: Account hacked: December 4, 2017 and no word.. on: May 10, 2019, 01:35:58 AM
There is a new account's recovery team now in place since late December last year. You should send them an original email of the hacked account and you should be sorted within a week according to testimonies from a few who have recovered their accounts

Just follow the procedure in the link @suchmoon shared
5146  Other / Meta / Re: Why important topics are on off-topic board? on: May 10, 2019, 12:53:41 AM
I see some important topics are being posted on off-topic board or being moved to that for some reason. I do not think that is their appropriate place and these topics even got merits too. That proves these topics are not spammy.
7000 BTC stolen from binance
- Could have just been put/moved there because there were so many topics about the Binance hack that day
- Newbie started the thread, probably did not knw where to post.

This can belong to the politics and society board but it's an old topic, probably the politics and society board was less popular by then.

Github Hacked - Ransomware - Bitcoins demanded

and a lot more of these. any because they are in the off-topic board they are not even getting enough attention.
Since it was about Github and not BTC or crypto, the user probably thought the off topic board was the right place to make the post

Bottom line, different people post in the offtopic board for different reasons
5147  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why does my wallet show more than the blockchain on: May 10, 2019, 12:40:23 AM
One reason could be that maybe your wallet has not synced well from the last time you used it.
5148  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestMixer Signature Campaign | Sr. Members - Legendary | Up to 0.01225BTC on: May 09, 2019, 10:20:17 PM
wwzsocki left the Best Mixer campaign and moved to Livecooin campaign, so I hope that manager will announce open slots, especially for Senior Member rank next hours.
He isn't left Bestmixer campaign yet and still uses bestmixer signature in his profile.
Hhampuzz will give an announcement after he pretty sure that wwzsocki left the campaign or he gets clarification from wwzsocki.
it's because of the payment period which is going to happen on Friday Morning. After that I am pretty sure wwzsocki will change his signature and Hhampus will announce a new spot which is a few hours away from now

I don't think those who apply before he announces for a new spot have any chance of qualifying. One just has to be patient and wait for the announcement from CM.
5149  Other / Meta / Re: [RELEASED] @mention notification bot - now with Telegram on: May 09, 2019, 08:53:06 AM
Short version:
You can try the new notification system, in order to use it send a pm to Maggiordomo by placing in the subject subscribe and in the body a link to a thread you created (the thread must be on the Archival board anywhere else won't work), this will be used to notify about you being mentioned or quoted across all the forum. You will receive a message confirming you are signed up and some basic information.
I would love to subscribe for the notifications, but I am a little confused now that there is going to be a new update.
Since, you are moving away from the thread system to PMs. Do new applicants still have to create a thread in the archival board before applying?
5150  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos, I Suggest A New Section of Bitcointalk for 'Blockchain Developments' on: May 09, 2019, 08:36:10 AM
Yes, that's the state on the forum only, as I said most of the discussion in burried in the altcoin sections. Probably you should explore more about it, I guess.Huh
You will be surprised that I do check out the altcoin sections too. I haven't seen any unique project thou. Something outside the scope of what BTC started.
All i see is
- Think about project and gather a team
- Call it a blockchain solution(sometimes it doesn't even solve the real world problems, just a way of marketing)
- Create token/coin, website, whitepaper.
- Announce it on bitcointalk
- Organize sales
- List in an exchange
- End of mission.
5151  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos, I Suggest A New Section of Bitcointalk for 'Blockchain Developments' on: May 09, 2019, 08:10:37 AM
Correct me if i am wrong. I thought the Project Development section catered for all this.

After all i currently see about blockchain are majorly projects hinged around "currencies" or "Token"
I haven't yet seen a blockchain project/solution that is out of the box away from what Bitcoin tried to start off(Cryptocurrencies, decentralization, fewer fees etc). It makes me feel as though blockchain is kind of overrated.
5152  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Does BPIP show Security/Moderator Log information before July 2018? on: May 09, 2019, 04:59:02 AM
When checking some information about some account with some suspicious activity yesterday on BPIP, I did notice that all i could see in the Security/modlog section was a "woke up" note
But when Alanst then came in and said that the account had changed an email some time in July 2017.

Which brings me to the question, Is there some missing info on accounts that had modlog changes before BPIP came into existence or it's just a small glitch?

I think we have another problem.
Home page loads very well but when one tries to check a profile, they get this error. i believe it's not only me experiencing this.

5153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using 25,000 USD capital properly on: May 09, 2019, 04:42:22 AM
I have an exchange Project that I have been running for some time, The biggest problem has been Capital. I just raised $25,000, I plan on adding a special coin built for the exchange with some added features ( I intend to do an ICO for this coin).
I would really try to be very careful when it comes to launching an ICO for the said coin. There was a time when Exchange coin ICOs were a thing, BNB coin, Kucoin shares, Huobi token etc but that time is long gone.
Recently people have totally lost interest in ICOs, Projects have failed to raise money due to total lack of interest and all one can get is a bunch of airdrop and bounty hunters in their telegram and other social media channels other than the real investors.

I guess this was all due to the recent bear market that taught people lots of lessons. So i would hate to see you spend, arrange and market and ICO which would fail without you meeting your goal.
IEO would be the biggest bet right now but it's also losing hype real quick. Maybe you could wait for the next tide to move with. Just my observation and opinion  Wink
5154  Other / Meta / Re: Login in the forum using your Finger Print on: May 09, 2019, 04:29:27 AM
It would be convenient but how  many people here use mobiles to login into the forum?
The forum posts are barely readable on mobile.
AFAIK just a few computers enable finger print reading and i am not sure if the finger print reader can even be used beyond login in through the OS like it is on mobiles phones and yet i believe the forum is mostly accessed through Personal Computers so this feature would just favor currently very few people using mobiles to access it.
5155  Economy / Reputation / Re: This guy is asking for merit which should be earned and not asked. on: May 08, 2019, 03:20:35 PM
Do we know for sure that it was sold? I will unlock it if he will be able to prove that it wasn't hacked by going through the recovery process, however, my "hacked" radar is off the charts Smiley

All I see in the seclog is the account woke up, but I'm sure you have access to older records.  If it was hacked wouldn't the password have changed also?  Just an email change doesn't really mean much in my opinion.
He did say the email was changed alongside IP and posting patterns. I wasn't able to see that information from BPIP except the recently woke up warning

Well spotted! It appears that this account has indeed changed hands as the email address was changed on July 22, 2017, alongside with posting and IP patterns. I've now locked it!
To me, I think his judgement is right. Not sure about the forum policies thou.
5156  Economy / Reputation / Re: This guy is asking for merit which should be earned and not asked. on: May 08, 2019, 01:06:44 PM
The meriting profile looks very suspicious thou.
After a 1-year posting gap, user recently woke up and first post was an application for a stake.com signature campaign

Despite no change on the password, the account is very like to have changed hands between July 02, 2017 and August 01, 2017 as the user's posting style completely changed

5157  Other / Meta / Re: Strange-looking thread title on: May 08, 2019, 11:27:22 AM
Someone just tried to use a special kind of characters to probably attract attention. Not sure it's a bug just like the Persian characters which are written from right to left and therefore end up affecting the position of the topic title and page numbers.
The Characters the author of the title used are written in a vertical direction and thus end up overlapping the posts.
5158  Other / Meta / Re: Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images on: May 08, 2019, 10:56:19 AM
I made a payment to become a copper member , its not showing anything on the page when i refreshed , 6 confirmations have been completed , still i cannot see or use the services. help
If you paid for the required fee alongside the network's transaction fees, you should be able to see this after you visit the paid memberships page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote even just after one confirmation.

Just click on the copper option and click wear, to be able to enjoy the copper membership privileges
The full message on the page reads as follows.

Quote
You have purchased a paid membership, and can wear its title using the form below. If your purchased membership has more permissions than your natural membergroup, then you should wear it in order to receive all of its benefits. If your purchased membership has fewer permissions than your natural membergroup, then wearing it is optional; wearing it will never reduce your permissions.

You are not currently wearing any of your paid memberships
5159  Economy / Services / Re: Ethex.Bet Signature Compaign 0,024 BTC / mounth on: May 07, 2019, 11:30:08 AM
Hey mate,

1. there is a typo on the title... It should month and not mounth

2. Also I think Legendary: 0.0002 BTC / post
Hero: 0.00015 BTC /  post
Senior: 0.0001 BTC / post

Looks much more easier to understand and calculate by the participants Wink

3. Uploading of animated avatars or APNGs was disabled by theymos for sometime now so you might wanna put up a static one for members to use.

I wish you a successful campaign
Cheers
5160  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bounty cheaters using reputed members accounts to register for bounty campaign on: May 07, 2019, 02:41:03 AM
Cheater just copies your username and profile link and registers for the bounty.
Cheater can do this with as many accounts as they want well aware that reputable members like you could never visit the bounty section to participate in the bounties
This mostly happens with bounties who managers do not emphasize proof of authentication
