5461  Other / Meta / Re: 50 Merits for bounty threads. on: March 31, 2019, 08:24:16 PM
I think the motive of this person was to bribe you with Merit so that when a spot for the ongoing campaign you are running opens up, and he applied, you would add him to it. But thank God, you are one of those people who are incorruptible.
It was an outright abuse of Merit by the sender.
5462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what guides do you use for trading signals on: March 31, 2019, 04:57:21 PM
Just take your time to learn about the different and most used market indicators such as
- RSI
- MACD
- SMA
- Bollinger bands
- EMA
This will help you analyse your own signals and also know when to buy and sell.
Never trust people who give out signals. Most of them are greedy, and they usually ask for money from you which is not a subtle thing to do if you are a trader.
Create your own signals, create our own profits, create your own legacy. Nothing comes easy,
Cheers.
5463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are you favourite Indicators for trading? on: March 31, 2019, 04:42:18 PM
Started trading recently and to be honest i found RSI and MACD quite helpful on whether to a buy a certain coin or not, On whether to sell it or not.
RSI also helps me determine if the coin has been overbought or oversold.

Ichimoku Cloud also seems an interesting indicator too. I am still learning to use it and perhaps i could share my experience about it when i have fully masted it.
5464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earn Money by Simply Predicting Cryptocurrency Prices on Coinediction.com on: March 31, 2019, 04:36:58 PM
So if i may ask, how is this different from crypto day trading?
What advantage does it have over trading because it like it's pretty much the same thing.
5465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do youtube "Expert Traders" keep asking money for their "premium tips"? on: March 31, 2019, 04:32:24 PM
He just didn't want people who constantly bothered him, he sometimes even didn't renew some peoples premium just to keep them away, he wanted a small smart chat for himself and that is it.
Then i bet it would be better to shut up with his strategy If he doesn't want people to bother him. This is not reason enough to charge people. It is greed.
5466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which strategy you apply in recent bullish market? on: March 31, 2019, 04:29:06 PM
If we look some previous day we can see everyday must pump one or more than one coin. And if start to pump then It continuously  cross 50%-100% even 200%. So I want to know how you earn a lot of profit in this market? Have you caught all pumped coin?  If yes Then please explain here so that we can earn profit also.
It's had to know a coin that's about to pump but for me I decided to just take 2-3 percentage daily profits from different coin since it's achievable then i compound the profits. In the short run it looks like a waste of time but in the long run, it's an awesome idea. I am still in the initial stages but if i succeed, i will make a post about it here in the forum.
5467  Economy / Exchanges / Re: the hack of popular South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb on: March 30, 2019, 11:08:25 PM
This is one most disappointing thing and  most scary too about cryptocurrencies and anything related to them especially exchanges and wallets. They have turned out to be the biggest target for hackers and i don't think it's about to stop.
5468  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Importance of reading terms and conditions of a website on: March 30, 2019, 11:01:25 PM
Terms and condition are important but i usually find it so hard to read. First of all the language is more for lawyers and then  the wording. Letters are usually so small and not summarized.
Honestly, I most case i just ignore them and move on
5469  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How to Earn Bitcoins on Android: The Mining Scam on: March 30, 2019, 10:55:43 PM
I don't think it's possible. It's total scam
And when has Ripple ever been a minable coin?

You must be very careful with such apps, it could be a malware targeting crypto lovers with the hacker knowing that the people who download and use it could be having vital information in their devices such as address private keys and the app will just transmit your information to hacker and boom, your money is gone.
5470  Other / Meta / Re: Why not Make "Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules..." Official? on: March 29, 2019, 11:18:25 PM
As highlighted in the post. I understand is a reference of sorts but then why don't we at least have an Official list of the forum rules.
If some rules are not enforceable all the time, the lets start with the core rules.

All I would love to see is a catchy sticky of Official rules and perhaps guides plus FAQs if possible which could be very hard to get ignored by newly registered members.
A better title or new sticky could somehow change that.

5471  Other / Meta / Re: Why am i banned ?! on: March 29, 2019, 10:06:34 PM
Just been through you post history and my eyes are just hurting. Your profanity level is off the hook.

About 2-3 months ago my two good friends - simple regular users (read some here, some there, post a little) were banned same way. At first i didn't believe them - why would mods ban their users with no reason.
By "friends" you mean your alts?
The strange part is there was no warning so i could stop doint bad things. Also, the amount of spam was around 20-25 messages per week. One of another accounts of mine was banned for same reason but only for 7 days. Also the "7-day" banned account is Newbie, while main acc is Member.

Most likely reason is ban evasion.
5472  Other / Meta / Why not Make "Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules..." Official? on: March 29, 2019, 09:32:05 PM
The "Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ" has been there since 2014.
The thread is a sticky and is used as reference to the forum's rules by old members and new members. Now, I understand it's of course a work in progress and a collection of different Official rules and guides but why shouldn't it just be endorsed and renamed as an Official List of Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQs, since it a sticky thread already

From a newbies' perspective, when I joined the forum back then, I under-looked the list and did not read through it thinking it was "Unofficial" anyway, and I believe there are many more newbies who have done the same. Luckily I didn't break any rules like plagiarism and spamming.
To be honest, I read through the unofficial list of rules much later when I realized that there were some serious offenses that were totally not accepted here like plagiarism after I saw a half dozen chaps making ban appeal threads on Meta.

I think a sticky thread with an affirming title like "Official List of Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQs" would be much more appealing for New Members to check it out and read through.
If it's impossible to rename it for whatever reasons, then lets get the Official list from some highly respected member of the community or the Admin.
5473  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency exchange volume: More fake than real? on: March 25, 2019, 10:52:45 PM
Some Article claims that the percentage is even more, 95% of Reported Bitcoin Trading Volume Is 'Fake'
Fake trade volumes are actually a reality
This is most done by small budding exchanges... I don't think a reputable exchange like binance can do that because they have spoil their reputation through such a simple cheap act.
5474  Economy / Trading Discussion / Why do youtube "Expert Traders" keep asking money for their "premium tips"? on: March 25, 2019, 10:43:02 PM
I have been trying to watch some YouTube videos about crypto trading and also tried to read some articles to understand the different indicators but one thing that baffles me is that most of them claim to have made lots of money from day trading, and yet they continue asking people to subscribe for their Premium content for $100,$150 etc

If they claim to have made lots of money through their good trading strategies then why do they ask for money? Is it too much greed for more money, or they are simply lying about making money from their strategies?
5475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience is the main key of success on trading platform. on: March 25, 2019, 10:27:59 PM
True but sometimes it depends on your goal too.
You must know when to exit. You must know how much profit you want to make before exiting.

What do you mean by exiting? I've never think why we should have a plan to exit especially when everything were fine and we are profiting. Quitting is just only be happen if we are not comfortable with crypto, but as long as it works well then there is no reason to think of leaving.
Patience will help us to succeed but it came into the point that it will have its limitation especially when we know that certain coins ins't moving at all and not worthy to hold any longer.
You got me wrong, by existing, i did not mean that he must completely leave crypto. In simple terms I meant he must know when to sell off for profits.
Of Course, we all trade for profits.
If you are a short term trader, i would think it's unwise to be so greedy.
5476  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2013-03-23] 95% of Reported Bitcoin Trading Volume Is 'Fake' on: March 25, 2019, 10:20:54 PM
Not sure about the 95% bit but Fake trade volumes are a big reality.
I have seen it with my very own eyes especially with small exchanges that try to pump the daily trade volumes using bots so that they can rank high enough in the coinmarketcap charts.
Diginifex is one of such exchanges  Angry
You will never see an order on the orderbook getting completed but when you look at the trade history, it shows trades are being executed every second and the funny bit is the quantity of coins bout or sold is in the same figure range.
When the bot stops, trading stops, the trade history stops too until the bot resumes again after some hours
5477  Economy / Reputation / Re: PLUGIAT ON CREATING SIGNATURES on: March 25, 2019, 09:54:53 PM
-snip-
I hope you get a response from one of the more experienced DT members about this.
Yeah, I know it is a very lazy and bad practice and if it happened to me also, I would definitely feel so bad too.

The best I think would happen is the culprit gets a negative tag from the DT team for copying signature codes if they indeed verified that the committed the offense. This could at least kill his reputation for his "business"
But the tagging bit is also entirely up to a DT member to decide.

I don't think much more punishment like getting the culprit banned could happen.
It's just my thought.
5478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An AUDIOBOOK of the Bitcoin Whitepaper narrated by the who's who of the industry on: March 25, 2019, 09:39:55 PM
People like CW don't need to even be in the same sentence with the word "Bitcoin"
They have tried to do so much damage to what Satoshi started and i don't think it's a good idea for a person like him to be part of your idea.

Perheps looking for more Bitcoin friendly contributors would be much better

5480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: March 25, 2019, 09:23:07 PM
But Ronaldo got injury and he can't continue to play, so betting on Portugal win is to risky IMO.
England scored 2 goals recently and they are leading already. If you made bet when score was 0:1, you may have nice profit Cheesy
England is on the roll 5  Goals now to 1, Harry Kane and Sterling get on the score sheet too.
France now has 3 goals to 0 against Iceland. Mbappe has 2 goals in that match. Kid is really brilliant!
