someone is clearly bitter here.
You are the people making this forum far too radicalized with your propaganda and pure hate.
The system is not perfect but making this place should not be a war zone where you just accuse anybody who doesn't agree with you as an asslicker does no good.
5343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gdax on: April 15, 2019, 08:45:21 PM
It's a scam Website/Phishing website.
There is even a recent Open scam accusation against it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5131626.0

5345  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transfering Bitcoin from Coinbase to an exchange to acquire Monero anonymously? on: April 15, 2019, 08:46:47 AM
There is no way Coinbase can know he’s using a mixer to buy Monero. Even if they can connect his withdrawal with a mixer like ChipMixer, the link will end there. Also, using a mixer isn’t ilegal. It’s not like they will sue you because they found out that you used a mixer.

Coinbase -> mixer -> Huh (link broken).
My response was basing of OPs preference. For some reason, She/he doesn't just want to link her/his account directly to a mixer service. I am well aware it's not illegal.
However, I'm afraid that sending the Bitcoin from Coinbase to the mixer would already establish a link to my identity since the Blockchain is transparent after all (not to mention that my ID is verified at Coinbase).
5346  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn Bitcoins in a crippled country? on: April 15, 2019, 08:16:12 AM
In this forum we basically have service advertising sections.
These are sections you will find people advertising for services they offer or look for people/services to hire for projects and payment is usually through bitcoin or altcoin.
Since you are a beginner, you can first start by joining projects that are looking for people hire and then as your portfolio grows you can start advertising your services in the sections(people always trust someone who has been quite reputable and has a good past work portfolio to show)

You can check out
- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=84.0 - For bitcoin paying related services
- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=197.0 - For Altcoin paying services.

I would also recommend you use escrow services for you deals or transactions to avoid getting scammed.

There are also a couple of websites I know that require you to do some tasks such as designing code, graphics, writing blogs or find bugs in exchanges for Ether or other altcoins.
The tasks are advertised daily by different projects. Most of the projects are already established and chances of wasting your time are really very low so long as you present quality work since everything is handled by the smart contract

They Include
- https://gitcoin.co/ (Very good for a github lover)
I have used them recently and they seem awesome. You can try to look into them.
Good luck with your pursuit  Smiley
5347  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Airdrop for reporting a given number of posts(suggestion) on: April 15, 2019, 07:53:58 AM
Abuse is the main issue and everybody is talking about it... I too even talked about it in the OP.
How about in order to avoid the abuse or reduce it to minimum.

1. We can for example have Lower ranks like Brand New, Newbie and Jr Members not eligible for merit airdrop for reports
2. A certain amount of earned Merit per rank to be able to eligible for the privilege (killing 2 birds with one stone. Encourage members to report and also make quality posts/help community)
3. Airdropped Merit for reporting would not be spendable.

Of course, not every implementation is 100% perfect, we have seen abuses on the merit system, trust and other things around the forum but it would just be a step into the direction of fighting scam and spam
5348  Other / Meta / Re: [Solutions] What happened with topics of top altcoins? Uncontrol shitshows on: April 15, 2019, 07:14:53 AM
It is obviously that those topics should be better managed or controlled by topics' authors. Unfortunately, some good altcoins have their ANN topics have not been controlled by OPs, whom might leave the forum, or very inactively recent months.
Report button plays its helpful function, but I thought that we should have additional effective solutions for that.
So what other solution do you offer other than the report button.

Most of the Topic authors don't really care about managing the threads they started here when they launched off as most of these top altcoins also decided to launch their own forums. So unfortunately their energies have been diverted to their different forums.

5349  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transfering Bitcoin from Coinbase to an exchange to acquire Monero anonymously? on: April 15, 2019, 06:17:09 AM
If you are considering using some kind of mixer, I would suggest first reviewing this thread about mixers.
OP knows about the mixers, they just want to buy Monero without having a direct link from their coinbase account. They also do not want a direct link between their coinbase account and a bitcoin mixing service as it would obviously show that they are using the service to hide their transactions in order to buy monero.

Almost every exchange requires KYC in order to even deposit, so if you ignore the above thread you will not have any real privacy above if you send coins directly from coinbase.
This is not true.
I have used Kucoin, Binance, Okex, Huobi, Mercatox, HitBTC etc for +2 years without filling any KYC form and i haven't had any problems at all.
5350  Other / Meta / Re: Thread got deleted without any reason!!!!!HELP on: April 15, 2019, 06:06:29 AM
Maybe this is the reason behind deleting my thread:
The already available list of Bitcoin Mixer thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2827109.0
I was not aware that there is already one thread on "List of bitcoin Mixer".
My thread has an updated list of Mixer, and have some extra information regarding Mixers. Which this old one has not.
I spent more than 4 hours to create that thread. Which got deleted in a sec without any reason.
Yep, i think the mod who deleted saw no reason to have another thread in the board yet there is an already active thread about the same topic.
Otherwise, should they accept to post a new thread, then you could just check https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=drafts for your post and have not to worry about the 4 hours you wasted.

I think contacting the starter  of the first bitcoin mixer thread and informing them to update the info with more information you have would be more appropriate  Wink
5351  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transfering Bitcoin from Coinbase to an exchange to acquire Monero anonymously? on: April 15, 2019, 05:37:17 AM
Otherwise, you have to use decentralized exchange such as Hitbtc as Hitbtc charges low fee and it doesn't require KYC at the same time (I'm not sure for huge amount of transactions).
HitBTC is a decentralized exchange? Are you for real bro?
Unless you were trying to imply that It's a centralized exchange but then made a mistake.

Look first off, HitBTC is one of those worst exchanges with a very high withdrawal fee...
- HitBTC withdrawal fee for BTC = 0.001BTC,
- BTC withdrawal fee for other centralized exchanges such as Binance, Huobi, Kucoin = 0.0005BTC
Outright exploitation, isn't it? Even when BTC transaction fees have been way too low for over a year now.

Secondly, Other centralized exchanges like Binance, kucoin too offer withdrawals of upto atleast 2BTC without verification just like HitBTC so the better choice is obviously the less exploitative exchanges

Thirdly, using a centralized exchange will still link your BTC. Each account has it's uniquely generated BTC address.

5353  Economy / Reputation / Re: Warning: Trade with extreme caution! on: April 15, 2019, 05:12:17 AM
It doesn't have to be about a direct trade with someone, Members will now have to be aware not to pay attention to whatever you will try to shill because of your shady past deed.
5354  Other / Meta / Re: How Many Years on Bitcointalk? Take the Poll! on: April 14, 2019, 09:20:28 PM
I think around 1 and 1/2 years now... Making my second year in November 01, 2019. Wasn't sure whether to select 1 year or 2 years on the poll. Thou i wasn't so active in the beginning, the Journey has been amazing so far  Smiley

5355  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Airdrop for reporting a given number of posts(suggestion) on: April 14, 2019, 08:43:55 PM
-snip-
If you want merits just post quality content.
The purpose is to encourage members to report scam and spam as soon as they see it.
Post quality is atleast already catered for with the current system
5356  Other / Meta / Re: [Suggestion]Number of deleted posts in a thread. on: April 14, 2019, 08:40:33 PM
Then what? After identifying those post what will be the used, report them to be locked or what.

Sorry OP I don't get the usefulness of the suggestion clear me please, what'll be the usefulness of the stats although it can be easily manipulated just like others have said.
Of course, it could help members know shady ANNs esp in the Altcoin section. That's what i was implying with my first point.
5357  Other / Meta / Merit Airdrop for reporting a given number of posts(suggestion) on: April 14, 2019, 08:31:50 PM
Forum spammers have somewhat reduced compared to the madness that was here in 2017 thanks to the Merit system and the bear market that has been there for a while but the spammers will keep coming back in large numbers especially if Bitcoin starts making headlines again.

So I was thinking, What if there was away to encourage members to report spam and scam.
Like if someone who reports and reaches a given successful report milestone gets airdropped merits for that milestone.
e.g. 20 successful reports = 1 merit(could any other number)

Now the downside could be abuse through creating fake accounts then making fake spam posts through other alts and then reporting them.
Solution I thought about was to maybe restrict the merit airdrop to higher ranks or considered some sort of activity... This would make it harder for the account farmers

What do you think?
5358  Other / Meta / Re: [Suggestion]Number of deleted posts in a thread. on: April 14, 2019, 08:07:29 PM
It's a good idea, i think it could be useful in identifying threads where bumping services have been used before and later on the posts of the bumpers are deleted  especially in the altcoin boards though I don't know how this would work with members who keep deleting their bumps.

It could quite cause some confusion and defeat the purpose of the implementation.
5359  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn Bitcoins in a crippled country? on: April 14, 2019, 07:53:47 PM
Knowledge is a very important asset. Without some knowledge about bitcoin, cryptocurrencies or trading, You won't be able to make out the best from your earnings.
So i recommend you stick around the forum, read more and learn.
You can also learn from different experiences of people in the forum

One way of earning from scratch is through Airdrops and bounties( but they are now worth your time right now) and maybe bitcoin paying signature campaigns but you may need to rank up to a better membership level first which can take time but it's possible if you are willing to contribute to the community and learn more.

As for the Law, don't worry about it... They will eventually accept it. It just a matter of time. Just gather your bitcoins, you can use different exchanges to trade it off for USD then to your local fiat.

What is ME? Montenegro?
I think he meant Middle East.
5360  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to start learning programming? on: April 14, 2019, 12:52:37 PM
It majorly depends on your determination to learn.
YouTube is one such great tool to understand some basics about certain course units or topics

Not advertising it or something like that but www.bitdegree.org/ caught my eye. I just loved the whole idea of blockchain courses in it but you will obviously have to spend so money for the courses. I am no programmer but i just do try to learn basics about Bitcoin and the blockchain without going into deep details which involve programming.

I am pretty sure there are more such online course projects such as bitdegree, you can do a little digging.
