5781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin be the same if Satoshi wasn't anonymous? on: November 18, 2018, 08:29:40 PM
The biggest issue is the idea of the bitcoin network not the founder's identity... Look at other altcoins like Ethereum and Litecoin, their founders are known but the projects have still been successful. Probably Satoshi just choose to be anonymous to avoid any form of backslashes from Authorities
5782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC is helping on: November 18, 2018, 08:25:55 PM
But SEC controls only the American space... Haven't you taken time to think why most ICOs don't allow Investors from the US to participate in their sales?
China too has some strict regulations against ICOs thts why their investors from China are avoided too
5783  Economy / Services / Re: I lost my all btc,ltc,doge coins! on: November 18, 2018, 11:00:33 AM
Just start over already... Nothing can be done
it's just a lesson that next time you should be more careful with your funds. Crypto is currently a very big target for hackers and hijackers.
I still don't understand why you would invest just at-least roughly $160 on a hardware wall to safe guard $2M+worth of assets
Beats my understanding
5784  Economy / Speculation / Re: is currently the right time to buy bitcoin on: November 17, 2018, 07:31:52 AM
It's all entirely upon you. You budget what you plan on spending and how long you plan to hold the coins. It also depends on strategy... Are you going to do short trades or You are holding for months or years but otherwise every dip is an opportunity to buy
5785  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for the fastest way/tool to transfer fiat currency between exchanges on: November 12, 2018, 03:04:03 PM
Why would you even transfer fiat currency between 2 crypto exchanges?
Just do Ethereum or NEO( Zero withdraw fees and Zero transaction fees) and then convert to the currency or token you want after transfer
5786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Are There Many Projects Like This? on: November 11, 2018, 10:40:30 PM
It's because ICO's are an easy way of collecting over $10 Million from unsuspecting victims by just showing them just a mere typed document of 50 pages(white Paper) and a bunch of passport photos of random people but we can reverse this. we should aggressively fight scam and keep exposing all of them. lately people are getting enlightened.

5787  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why hitbtc often eliminate coins abruptly on: November 11, 2018, 10:31:49 PM
I would advice you avoid such shit exchanges that do not value their clients. They are so many exchanges out there that are way better than HitBTC. i used to use it back then but got fed up of it too
5788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2013 and 2018 on: November 11, 2018, 10:22:23 PM
and today, we see that many positive conditions, but do not affect bitcoin to create bullish, what happens with bitcoin?
Things Just don't happen over night and the biggest problem with some people is the expect only a bullish trend throughout. Well the reality is where there is a massive bullish trend, there is a massive bearish trend after words.
Your question really makes me think you really never witness the Late 2017 bullish trend. Everyone who had some good cryptos enjoyed it and upto now i still feel good about it.
So it does matter how long it will take, if you are into long term Just stick around... the bullish trend will eventually come and when it does, Don't be so greedy, Cash out what you can , prepare for the deep... buy again  and wait.
5789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never regret anything on: November 11, 2018, 10:14:52 PM
Everyday you learn something new... Whether it's a mistake or not.  I try to turn every loss i make in trading into a positive and over time i have gained experience.
Trading is now my side gig which has enabled me i achieve a lot which i would not be able to achieve if i depended on only my Job
5790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🔥🔥ICO MARKET STATISTICS. 3rd quarter 2018.🔥🔥 on: November 11, 2018, 10:10:18 PM
4. Very interesting and pleasant statistics of the ratio of the number of funds raised and the number of ICO-projects. The number of ICO projects is decreasing, but the amount of funds collected by them is relatively stable. This suggests that more Mature projects are increasingly appearing on the market. In the 3rd quarter of ICO-projects by 35% less than in the 2nd quarter, but the number of funds raised in the 3rd quarter fell only by 17% compared to the 2nd quarter.
i hope these trend continues upward in favour of mature ICOs. there was a lot of scam mid way through this year and i was shading a dark image on cryptocurrencies.

Another point to note is that people no longer invest money carelessly after learning so many lessons from the bearish market. We have seen some many threads opened up against SCAM BUSTING and people are doing more in-depth research on each new ICO that poops up trying to advertise in the forum.
5791  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best exchange for Day/Short term trading on: November 11, 2018, 09:34:31 PM
The higher the 24 hour volume of an exchange, the better so i would go with
1. Binance
2. Kucoin
3. Huobi
4. OKex
the added advantage of these exchanges is either the reduced trading fees or the profits you share when you buy and hold their tokens the Binance con, Kucoin shares, Huobi Token etc

Decentralized exchanges, while great are certainly not ideal for day or short term trading since you need liquidity and fast trades. Something like binance would be much much better, it has liquidity and pretty much instant trades.

You are so right about this, Decentralized exchanges are not really a thing at the moment for most coins?tokens
5792  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what are the things to consider when looking for a good exchange? on: November 06, 2018, 12:05:31 AM
Thank you so much for sharing. It really can be a bit overwhelming sometimes to keep signing up to new exchanges. I will definitely consider all your tips and recommendation. So elaborate and clear. thank you for taking the time to answer me. There are obvious pointers but often times with my busy life and chart watching i tendcto forget about some of those. Truly appreciate you.

Its pleasure to help you. We are out here to help each other in whatever way. Happy trading  Smiley
5793  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hackers in our lives and assets protection on: November 05, 2018, 02:39:30 PM
The most safe method ls are:
1. Paper wallets: this is the easiest to do, you just print your public and private keys or even seed phrases in a piece of paper and you keep it in a secure place. You could make more than one copy just incase you loose or misplace the other.

2. Use of Hardware wallets like Trezor or Ledger Nano to keep your crypto assets offline from potential hackers

5795  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1000 to spare each month, how would you invest it? on: November 05, 2018, 06:10:28 AM
Actually this is the best time to buy.. This is the deep. The ugly part of the market most people don't like. No volatility for day traders to make profits and as you can note price have almost been on the same range over along period of time. According to some opinion from experts, it simply means there's not any more further drop going to happen. What we will expect is a rise that will come probably within months to even a year or two.
Best coins to buy are in the top 20, most of them are solid projects. Make sure you look at their all time highs
Ethereum for example.. Right now at $200, capable of reaching at least $1500 as we witness earlier this year... That's almost a x7.5 profit
Same applies with NEO, currently at about $16, almost touched $200 sometime back... That's over ×10 in profits another advantage of NEO is that you can earn passive income in form of Gas. If you have lots of NEO coins, you can earn some meaningful money every 24 hours. Vechain also has ALMOST the same passive income format like NEO.
Just do research about those different coin. You will find those suitable for you.

Don't forget to diversify your portfolio.
5796  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what are the things to consider when looking for a good exchange? on: November 05, 2018, 05:49:31 AM
Personally I look at
1. Security : The most important of all since we are dealing with money. Security has to be tight and exchange has to have a swift response in case of any attacks or attempts to hack

2. Popularity: Much more popular exchanges are my preference since they have a large community around them. The larger the community, the easier it is to spot scam... Less popular exchanges can easily scam and exit with your money.

3. Team and Support: is the team transparent? Is the support swift and helpful? You don't wanna get stuck with some issue and there is no one to help you urgently

4: Trading Fees and Withdrawal Charges: I prefer exchange with less trading fees and withdraw charges plus incentives like Binance has with BNB and Kucoin has with Kucoin shares.

5: Third-party Mobile apps: These make trading easier on the go. Some exchanges have lagging websites but the mobile apps are smooth to trade with. i have traded so far with the Kucoin, Huobi, Binance and Okex apps. Very smooth and nice experience
