5021  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CARTOONS - Are you going to invest on these ICOs? on: May 26, 2019, 08:35:35 AM
Will you buy Morphene Blockchain coins or rather opt for the real Morphine?  Grin

For some reason, archive is not working on this site, so i took a full screenshot of it.

So the rest of the profiles have no Social media or LinkedIn profile links except for one, Andrew Chaney (netuoso)
Github - https://github.com/netuoso (no picture of him)
Steemit - https://steemit.com/netuoso (Page does not exist)
Twitter - https://twitter.com/netuoso (no picture of him whatsoever)
So basically, Netuoso is a ghost too

It seems to me that these scammers are trying as much as possible to hide the malware from detection, but the files are still similar to the previous scam attempts  Grin
5023  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Didn't receive DREP tokens on: May 26, 2019, 06:11:21 AM
Great! quoting your image links for visibility

The account link which you gave has just been created the account and did not posted anything through it. So i think the project developer just created the account to show that they wanted to promote their project but never responded. So i think this project is more over like scam.
Or they could have just deleted all their threads and posts to cover up their scam away from the bitcointalk vigilant members
Could have also been nuked but that is less likely.
5024  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Announcing BPIP - The Bitcointalk Public Information Project! on: May 26, 2019, 06:04:54 AM
Hey Vod, it's me again
First of all I appreciate your efforts on keeping this site afloat.

This morning when I tried to search for a username, I got the compilation error again. Not sure how long it has been going on but i thought that I could alert you here.
5025  Other / Meta / Re: [UNBAN APPEAL] account newinbtc on: May 26, 2019, 05:57:00 AM
That's a lot of copied messages Veleor pointed out there mate, but let's wait and hope it turns out in your favour.
5026  Other / Meta / Re: Getting rid of this "stake.com" spam shit o n my avatar and sig on: May 26, 2019, 05:42:34 AM
Ooh! So this is the account... Bonker, I can never forget it. The shitposts that were coming out of it were unbearable. It obviously changed hands

1. I even remember pointing the out
Normally this type of things will only helpful for taking a little profits only but using your own strategy will only helpful for making the prophet more stable understand so if you are a trader my opinion is do what your strategy will say[/b].
Qtn: What did you just read?
Ans: A guide on how to make "the Prophet more stable"  Grin

2. And more
-snip-
the account definitely changed hands
The original owner stopped using it somewhere in October 2018. I wasn't able to look at the seclog from BPIP showing a change in Email and password but the "mysterious newbies" working with Cyrus have this info.

Back to more shitposts
it is possible but the Bitcoin is in the moon and the ethereum and litecoin is in the earth so reaching the moon is not possible with normal vehicles it needs Rocket to enter into it so if the development is like a rocket then the facility is available for reaching the Bitcoin.
wait, Stake.com pays for such?  Shocked

3.  The Pharmacist also noticed it
Sorry, I had to post this here--it's not so bad that it's funny, but it made me slap my head.

The thread the post was in was about the bitcoin and ETH futures markets, and this Hero member contributed this gem of a shitpost:

they are much improving now so we cannot say this will not work for the future and they will have a bright future also to make our life more possibly the easiest when comparing to the jobs that will more higher than anything.

I haven't looked at this Einstein's post history, but I'm now wondering how a member who registered here in 2011 could misunderstand the meaning of 'futures' as it was used in the OP of that thread.  I'm actually wondering if this might be a purchased account.

Edit:

I'm 99.9% sure this is a bought account, because whoever wrote that hunk of garbage above probably would not have written this very eloquent post back in 2011:
5027  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Didn't receive DREP tokens on: May 26, 2019, 05:15:02 AM
Yes, this is a right profile, and I can provide related docs showing our communication at DM, cause dont want to show public my addresses.
For sure communication with Sarah was weird, but if I understand correctly she is only a community manager of DREP at Telegram.
You can blur off or cover the addresses when putting your screenshots here if you don't like sharing them. You will be safe.
The community needs to see the messages so that they can try to help you out and also tag the scammer. It's just some sort of proof that they scammed you we need here  Wink
5028  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Trendercoin - Plagiarized whitepaper on: May 25, 2019, 08:42:33 PM
I have contacted the administration of https://www.bitrearer.com/ about this issue and waiting for there reply.

But the damage has been done to my account in the form of negative trust.
Do you remember my friendly advice to you two weeks back?
Looks like you didn't even care about it.
Awesome, That's exactly what you should do next time. You can always try to do a little research and also check in this board or even ask members for ideas about a project before you go ahead to support the project otherwise if you get red tagged for promoting scam. It will be very hard to persuade DT members to remove it
5029  Economy / Services / Re: Windice.io Signature Campaign(FULL) on: May 25, 2019, 08:26:04 PM
I need to post again?? I already posted an authentication before, I think it will be spam if i will post it again, do i need to post it again???
Yes, You have to post again every time a new slot is announced.
Since you are worried of spamming, you can delete your old application which was not accepted last time and make a fresh one.

For newbie or new player have any promotions offer ?
Newbies are not eligible for this campaign. Please take time to read the rules in the OP
5030  Other / Meta / Re: Infographic Stealing on: May 25, 2019, 08:15:37 PM
There's a lot of infographics that have been shared here. I'm thinking if stealing of infographics with or without a source is considered as plagiarism?
Of course it is also part of plagiarism. Members most of the time get away with it because the no nonsence anti-plagiat bot can't detect this kind of plagiarism and also you can find lots of copies of images floating on the internet so it's sometimes hard to pinpoint the source of the image
5031  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Google Finally Removes 2 Fake Cryptocurrency Wallets From the Play Store on: May 25, 2019, 08:40:14 AM
1. Trezor
2. Coinbase
3. Luno
4. Electrum
5. RobinHood
Seriously, web wallets like Coinbase in the same list with likes of Electrum is weird of me. They should never even be in the same list when recommending someone the best wallets around  Grin
If you want full control of your funds or cryptos without worrying about getting your funds getting locked off or go through the stupid procedure of signing up plus getting verified through KYC then i recommend the likes of
- Electrum
- Bitcore
- Wasabi
- Bitpay
- Ledger Nano s
- KeepKey
- Trezor
and many more in this category

Web wallets are a big NO for me, Heck... they can even monitor your transactions.

Back to OP. this has been a common problem with google app store and even their web chrome app store.
From time to time, Malicious apps and extension creep into the store before they get recognized and eventually removed.

According to ESET researchersThis particular app was masquerading as a mobile wallet for Trezor  but on installing it the Icon image would change to "Coin wallet"

When the App is launched, a fake login appears which is mean to phish a victim's login credentials. Once entered, the credentials are sent to the hacker's server

The other fake app in the store was The Coin Wallet app, definitely from the same hacker.
You can get more info about the researchers' finds here:

5032  Other / Meta / Re: [overview] LoyceV's useful data on Bitcointalk on: May 25, 2019, 08:24:59 AM
Phenomenal work from you, mate.
You have undoubtedly added a lot of value here through your endless efforts, thumbs up  Wink
5033  Other / Meta / Re: [BAN] Sr. Member tvplus006 - 459 merits [all earned] on: May 25, 2019, 08:00:02 AM
Why don't you just continue this unban appeal here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5143666.0 created by your friend? Someone already posted the reason why you've been banned.
I think it's better if he created his own appeal. This would show that he cares about his banned account and the community rather than let other people create for him an appeal.
With this thread, I am confident his appeal stands a higher chance of being looked into and I hope the Outcome is good as OP has really been good at bursting scam in the forum.
5034  Economy / Services / Re: Windice.io Signature Campaign(FULL) on: May 25, 2019, 07:33:53 AM
sir please select me too
That's  not how things are done mate.
You have to make a new application just like everybody else and then let the Manager do his Job of selecting Eligible applicants.
Begging with no application will not  make you eligible.
5035  Other / Meta / Re: sardasa account hacked yesterday on: May 24, 2019, 08:59:41 AM
That's what I have already done. My question was can something more be done to speeden up the process?
It takes time mate, They can't unlock or recover the account so quickly without doing thorough investigations and review. Now that you have no staked bitcoin address, all you have to do is wait. AFAIK, It usually takes a week for the recovery process to be complete.

Back in the day, hacked accounts could even take 6-12 months to be recovered, so I think currently, the speed has massively improved
5036  Economy / Reputation / Re: A bot started posting? on: May 24, 2019, 08:48:37 AM
Looks like someone is trying so hard to aggressively promote some bounty of a project that has been asleep since 2017

Blame it on the recent promise of the bull run  Grin

5038  Other / Meta / Re: Account Hacked carlfebz2 on: May 24, 2019, 07:35:42 AM
I'm not using the same passwords on any site and with this forum account.Im very keen about security matters. Phishing?Im aware with that.Virus? I have Eset Nod32 Premium.

I'm also aware on malicious web extensions that's why I'm confused on where did i go wrong and got still hacked.
About that message you received in your email, can you enlighten us more?
It looks incomplete. A screenshot would make things easier to understand especially that part of the sender.
5039  Other / Meta / Re: Account Hacked carlfebz2 on: May 24, 2019, 07:19:24 AM
Check for your [Suspicious link removed]
If it appears there then create a new e-mail account and link your bitcointalk.org account with this new e-mail id and never use it anywhere else.

That's how I got hacked yesterday.
It seems you got phished OP, If i understand your message well, Can you please provide us with a screenshot of this message to understand it better.
I especially need that part of the email sender  Wink

Check where? On my email inbox Huh
I think OP was talking about the message he received in his Email's inbox
5040  Other / Meta / Re: Previous post deleted on: May 24, 2019, 07:11:14 AM
According to the Deletion log, there is no post of yours that has been taken down Lately.
I assume the topic you claim was deleted is this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5146275.
So probably your topic was move to another board or you posted in a certain self-Morderated topic
