StonerStanley, remove your retaliatory negative rating and I will help you sort this out. Your rating is not a valid use of the trust system. If you must, a neutral rating would be appropriate, but also counterproductive for you.

Ok thanks.

I know it's not good to act like i that but i felt angry.

I remove my feedback.

Great. That is understandable, but you are really only hurting yourself. Please observe how to approach such a situation in a more productive manner.

ABitNut, I am requesting on StonerStanley's behalf that you please remove your negative rating for him. He has taken the first conciliatory step towards mutual restoration, and your original rating seems somewhat baseless.

While I agree that he shouldn't be in trouble, I do think that once the court had put him on some sort of probation relating to it he should've relaxed with it to ensure that the court didn't have an ammunition against him. Because they pretty much can say that he violated his probation, because he did.

I think this is without a doubt bullshit though, and he should begin to sue to town, judge, etc.

While I agree his actions may have been unwise, as far as I can tell he is basically being charged for publicly airing his grievances with the court. This is specifically protected right, to not only have free speech, but to seek redress of grievances with the government. The court had no legal authority to charge him and place him in this probationary state to begin with (assuming there are no other crimes involved). This judge should be impeached, and this man has a VERY strong case for a lawsuit with very significant damages. If I were him I would be going after that Judge's bond if she is bonded, if not I would be going after her personal assets. These types of people never learn until they personally pay the cost.
3646  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Flag] Organized Ethnic Hatred against the Turkish Section, ~Timelord2067 on: September 06, 2019, 04:37:49 PM
This is not what these flags are for. You are free to leave ratings on his profile if you insist, but this is also frowned upon unless the intent is to prevent fraud. This has nothing to do with fraud and is just retribution for a disagreement, righteous or otherwise. You can not use flags like this because it devalues the entire rating system. This is an invalid flag that reflects more poorly on its creator than its target.

Funny I don't recall you (or anyone for that matter) making this beautifully virtuous and enlightened comment when Timelord2067 just the other day opened not 1 but 7 abusive flags that "devalue the entire rating system"

How would you suggest I should respond, when there is blatantly obvious double standards and highly selective treatment going on, to the complete detriment of the local section participants of the forum, who have not, as of yet (and also because of lack of interest for the incessant dramas) been very active in meta & reputation...

I had no knowledge of these flags. Upon review they are also invalid, so I have opposed all of them except for one which seems to be a valid application regardless if it is correct or not. You are both wrong. Timelord2067 is known to be overzealous with his use of the trust system, as a result he is heavily excluded. Unless you drop this flag and stop using the flag system this way, you are destined to join him. Unfortunately drama is an indivisible part of managing the trust system here and it is something you will have to learn to deal with. In the future I would suggest simply starting a thread over the issue and discussing your complaints publicly rather than jumping right to abusing the trust system. If you can argue your point, and you are correct in your assertions, people will generally support you.

EDIT (Re: Vispilio) : I see that you have now withdrawn your flag. Thank you for being reasonable. This is the kind of behavior that gets you more respect from the community when you demonstrate your willingness to cooperate and follow the terms of the system in place. Timelord2067 is known to go too far, and as a result his reputation suffers, there is no reason to join him.

EDIT #2 (Re: Timelord2067 ) : I just noticed this on my trust ratings page -

Timelord2067: "Users, such as your good self, sit back and say nothing when you could in fact have stepped up to the crease/plate and guided my posts. Then, far too late, want to lecture from on high."

This is why no one ever steps up to say shit, because of people like you with the mentality of children who pout when they are told they are wrong and lash out. I am not your babysitter. I have no obligation to look after you or anyone else here. When I have free time I review some of these posts.

Sit back? Really? I have been one of the most, if not the most vocal long time opponent of trust system abuse on this forum to the point of paying continual personal costs in the form of being stalked and abused by the people I have called attention to for their abuse.

I learned a long time ago that your ratings were unreliable and frankly just mostly ignore them. I was satisfied to mind my own business since it seems to be motivated from genuine overzealous mistakes and not a need to abuse other users for retribution, however I think you are changing my mind. Maybe I will decide to be more active in monitoring your activities if that is really what you want. Is that what you want sweet summer child?

P.S. Please just get rid of that childish retaliatory rating. You have every right to leave it if you insist on acting like a child, just don't be surprised when you get treated like a child.

We as a society will not respect the rights of animals because we don't recognize human rights properly yet.

First step:

Recognize that humans are animals.

Next step:

Recognize that human life is not more important than life of any other animal.

However, animals eat other animals.  So do humans.

Even if you eat only plants, you still kill life to eat.

Except human life IS more important than animals. This concept that humans and animals are equal is nothing but a backdoor way to lower the standing of humans to that of an animal so that mistreatment of humans is excused. There is no way to give animals equal protection to humans and not do so. This is an anti-humanist viewpoint covered in a thin veneer of cute little furry creatures regardless if you recognize it as such or not.

I hope the NRA will be declared at the Federal level as a domestic terrorist organization!  Cheesy

Cool story bro. Keep it up. All you are doing is demonstrating to the world that the violent lunatics are the ones who want everyone defenseless. A winning strategy I am sure.

San Francisco did what was the right thing to do! If you ask me, I would line up and shot in the head all white supremacists like you! America is on the edge of a civil war and I hope most of those like you will be killed.  Cool
Don't ever take Antifa to your mouth you trash! You don't even know what is Antifascist.  Angry

Oh I see, now I am a white supremacist am I? Who even said I was white, or does that even matter? I guess not because I have seen plenty people of color called white supremacists unironically to their faces by mental midgets such as yourself. IF a civil war happens, you know who will be the very first bodies to fill the bottom of the pile? That's right, ANTIFA. Fuck you and fuck ANTIFA.

Hopefully they are sued and they lose a nice chunk of their operating budget for their troubles. This is a retarded claim which is simply libelous. No one actually believes this, and only the ignorant rabid anti-rights fear monger emotional wrecks of gun control advocates will pretend this claim has any merit, because in their minds the ends justify the means, regardless of how insane it makes them look. Meanwhile they are passing this resolution, they are covering their eyes any time ANTIFA commits terrorist acts like firebombing ICE facilities, throwing explosives into crowds, or attempting to murder people because they think they maybe could disagree with them.
3656  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [US] Mass shooting [mega-thread]; Days Since Last Mass Shooting [1] on: September 04, 2019, 07:24:33 PM
Love idiots that think open carry will prevent mass shootings.

Texas is probably the heaviest gun open carry state, yet they've had what? 3 mass shootings in the past week?

Right, wouldn't you want to have a gun or rifle with you when someone else is trying to murder you? What if you are in the middle of a mass shooting, what are you going to do? Yell they need a better education? lol, welcome to the real world.

Fails to explain how "more guns" is the solution. Texas is already armed to the teeth and its a mass shooter's go-to spot. 5 of the 25 deadliest mass shootings in America have been in Texas. Obviously people have the right to protect themselves -- nobody is saying they don't. But perhaps America should attempt to make it just a bit more difficult for nutcases to get their hands on guns? Just a thought.

Allow me to explain how senseless your argument is. Replace the word gun with another word. Lets say police.

[Texas is full of police but there are still mass shootings? How can you say more police is the solution?]

or how about this

[We need to make it harder for bad drivers to get cars so they don't cause automobile accidents] - (cars kill more people every year BTW)

Clearly police are an antidote to mass shootings, but obviously they can not prevent them 100%. Just because it is still happening doesn't mean having more armed people is not reducing the likelihood of it. How do you document an attack that never happened? Also it means it can be ended much faster by allowing civilian response for not only for the protection of themselves but others. Guns aren't the cause of the problem, mental illness, over-medication, and general societal degradation are. The problem with your oh so simple solution is that it is a wide open door for abuse. As soon as a 3rd party gets to define who is good enough to own a firearm it will immediately begin being abused allowing further erosion of these rights for more and more reasons. Then once the citizenry has no ability to resist, then the rest of the rights are eroded even more completely.

These are the classic Fabianist tactics everyone who supports gun control uses. It is never enough, it is always about more more more restrictions no matter what until they get their ultimate goal of a total ban. They are even openly admitting their goal is confiscation now. You can't hide behind the "we just want common sense gun control" argument any more because we all know it is bullshit, except the people who want that, they are more than happy to lie to your face over it. Literally every single person I have debated who is pro gun control is either totally ignorant about how firearms work, and or is basing their argument on emotions and fear, with almost zero logic to back up their arguments. Gun control advocates want to strip the rights of law abiding people to assuage their own mental illness and self inflicted trauma. This is why they are now running shooter drills all across the nation complete with firing blanks, fake blood, etc. The goal is to traumatize children and adults into a state of fear so they can be more easily manipulated into advocating for stripping these rights. There is no reason children need to be subjected to this.

Furthermore, you left this country. Who the fuck are you to tell those of us who still reside here what our laws should be? How do you think the locals there would react if I started lecturing them about their domestic policies? In summary we need to address the cause of these people feeling the need to execute a bunch of strangers, not focus on the tool they used to do it with. This is a failed strategy.
3657  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Too much tech in schools with no benefit, researchers agree. on: September 04, 2019, 12:00:33 AM
I have read studies relating to child neural development and technology in the past. Apparently children from 0-3 especially, but up to 5 years of age have a much higher level of what is called neuroplasticity. This is basically a phase of human brain development where the basic structures of the neurons are forming and becoming solidified in these states. As a result of this, depending on how the neurons are conditioned, it will result in more permanent lasting effects through the child's lifetime. This is an important fact to know for parents because when you give a child under 5 an electronic device or even sit them in from of a tv/monitor, you are wiring their brains in a way that can cause difficulties for them later.

The simplest example I can give is how media has all these quick cuts and fast moving scenes. Humans have evolved a hardwired response to pull the eye to any fast movement reflexively as a survival mechanism. When humans were not at the top of the food chain, this could be the difference between seeing that tiger hiding in the grass before he attacks or being his dinner. Essentially what is happening is all of these quick cuts are triggering this response in children, signaling to the brain that they are in an environment full of predators. As a result the brain becomes hyper active to compensate for this perceived risk to life, and this is where many attention, behavioral, and hyper activity issues stem from. Then parents often end up drugging their children to cope with this and making it worse. In my opinion, based on the scientific data I have read, no children under 5 should be using any electronic device with a monitor, including televisions.

Don't ever participate in speculative work. It is inherently designed to take advantage of people by paying substandard pittances of payment, wastes the time of many, and produces inferior quality results. It lowers the value of everyone's work in the specific field, just don't do it.
