3841  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Las Vegas Shooting - Witness Saw More Than One Shooter on: July 26, 2019, 04:10:46 PM
''Again, you have no explanation for what an officer could possibly be shooting at from the parking lot when the source of fire was reportedly from the hotel hundreds of yards away from an elevated position.'' Nice try here, of course the source of the fire was from the hotel, that's where the shooter was, what does that have to do with a policeman being in the parking lot shooting? Maybe he was shooting a suspect? The witness also says, she ran past him, wtf?

Also from your own link, seems like some people apply logic and not believe things just because they are written, like you:

''I have a basic problem with this. For one thing, 11:15 is well into the near-end of the entire event, so these could be Police moving into support position. But as an investigative author, I also take acceptation two a couple of details in the statements. For one thing, both handwriting styles imply someone deliberately trying to alter their handwriting style, or being deceitful. It is more evident in the first report: the slant is variously left, straight up, and right, and there is a mix of both consistency and inconsistency in the shape of letters and numbers, as well as complete lack of, and good control. These things happen when someone lapses in and out of conscious effort to deceive and their natural writing style. Much is the same in the second, except for the slant issue, and better control... but too many letters are found in multiple variations. Finally, rare is it for any two witnesses to tell exactly the same story down to the fine details, unless rehearsed and fabricated. I call it the 'too many clues' syndrome.''

So in your mind police firing wildly at  "suspects" when we know the shooter was hundreds of yards away at an elevated position makes sense to you? First of all a police officer would never return fire up into a hotel like that for risk of hitting bystanders. Second of all, police don't just get to randomly shoot people they suspect. How does any of your explanation make any sense?

I would love to see where in my link you found that quote, I don't see it there. It is impossible for me to know the context of the words as a result. Also you are hinging your argument on handwriting writing analysis? Really?

"most of the justices are conservative" is debatable at best. Some of the judges you might call conservative have a more centrist voting record. An additional appointment by Trump however could make a more clear majority. Any way you slice it, the goal is to prevent Trump from having influence and achieving his policy goals "by any means necessary". The Democrat platform has been running on "orange man bad" as its only policy position since 2016.
I doubt the "centrists," who are right of center, are going to go along with pretending Ginsburg is alive. However, I'm sure that if Ginsburg ends up on life support, they will roll her in to hear cases on the gurney with a full medical staff. Cheesy

She doesn't need to participate to keep the position filled, technically she could be in an induced coma on full life support and that would serve the purpose of preventing the position from being filled by Trump. You never know, the other justices might be afraid of getting Scalia'd.
3843  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [US Only] Impeachment Vote on: July 26, 2019, 01:26:05 AM
In order for him to have obstructed justice, the original crime would have to have been valid to begin with, which it was not. The FISA warrant was based on manufactured evidence, the investigation was based on the FISA warrant, and the obstruction of justice charges were based on the resulting investigation. This was a fraud from start to finish.

Fox News isn't "right wing," and it isn't "propaganda."

Quote
Mr. Sayoc at a Trump Rally
Mr. Sayoc began watching Fox News religiously and following Trump
supporters on social media. He became a vocal political participant on Facebook,
something he had not done previously. He was not discerning of the pro-Trump
information he received, and by the time of his arrest, he was “connected” to hundreds
of right-wing Facebook groups. Many of these groups promoted various conspiracy
theories
and, more generally, the idea that Trump’s critics were dangerous,
unpatriotic, and evil. See Ex. V (excerpting social media posts that Mr. Sayoc received

Ah, more right wing conspiracy; "facts of the case don't matter!'

Are we talking about Fox News or Facebook groups? Are you having trouble distinguishing the two? I am still waiting for your reply BTW.
3845  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is RBG Dead? on: July 26, 2019, 12:00:43 AM
If the Supreme Court had a majority of liberals, I may give this theory some credence. However, most of the justices are conservative and a good portion of them are not expected to waiver from their conservative stances on any decisions. I doubt that they would go along with any attempts to hide Ginsburg's death.

3849  Other / Politics & Society / Is RBG Dead? on: July 24, 2019, 07:49:28 PM
Ruth Bader Ginsburg had very serious health issues related to cancer, at age 86, then all of a sudden none of that is discussed and she is just chugging along as normal supposedly. Some people have a lot invested in making sure Trump does not have a chance to pick another supreme court justice, which would potentially change the balance of the supreme court's leaning.

It has been suggested that she may be already dead, and the goal is to hide her death until within a year of the next president being sworn in so they can then object to Trump appointing another justice, as it is standing policy within a short time frame of the president's potential exit. I can't say I know better than anyone else what is going on, but this whole situation is certainly suspicious. What do you think?

I think that the flag against LiveCoin can be considered conditionally valid, since their customer agreement has contradictions. If I get it wrong, then let experts with law degrees to correct me.

The flag was valid until Livecoin unblocked users account. For now, it's invalid because he didn't carry any loses.

Theymos and cyrus rarely respond to PMs these days probably due to lack of time and sheer number of the PMs they get, but sadly if they don't then you have to take it as a no. It's pot luck if they do, but annoyingly that has a knock on effect of Globals being PMd and 90% of the time we can't do anything about it or we then have to pester them about it and personally I don't really wan't to annoy them with it so if they don't respond I just take that as a no or 'I don't have time'.

Wait a minute. Why i must PM theymos, if we have global mods to unban users. Like you, for example. I had PMed you before, while you ignored me. Or you couldn't unban without theymos consent?

That's not how it works. In order for the flag to be dropped not only must the damage be remedied, but the victim of the act must forgive them for their actions. Just because they bowed to public pressure doesn't magically make them innocent.

I never really cared much about being patriotic.  I just happened to be born on some piece of land and that doesn't mean I will fight or die for a country that is just run by wealthy people that are above the law.  Eventually the world will be one giant country and one government anyways, we are slowly heading towards that.

So why not move to Guatemala if everything is the same? It is much cheaper to live there. BTW, this isn't about patriotism, its about reality.

Even if he is not dead, we all die. Erdogan's death will cause turmoil for the Christian world.

Absolutely Amazing Prophecy Fulfilling: Erdogan Of Turkey Brings Back The Ottoman Scepter That Signifies The Tenth Horn Prophesied In The Book Of The Apocalypse

After Erdogan won his referendum to have complete control over Turkey, the first thing he did was to return and unveil the Ottoman scepter that should not have departed from the first Ottoman Sultan until Erdogan had come. Erdogan is mimicking a Messiah. To Erdogan, the Muslim messiah, he is whom this scepter rightfully belongs.

To bring and unveil the diadem of Selim I, the tenth horn of the Islamic Empire, is a significant symbol.

Allow me to explain so that a westerner comprehends the significance.

Cool

Very interesting article. Some people might be quick to dismiss it because it hinges on religious texts, but I once heard it explained well. It doesn't matter if you believe it, millions of other people do and that still affects you. I find the part about Syria especially topically relevant.

What would be the consequences in the region of Erdogan passing away? Who is next in line? And who would benefit most with him going away?

I am sure there would be significant unrest and probably more war, but considering the long term plans some have for that region this is kind of what they have desperately trying to create. I don't like Erdogan or what he does very much at all, but I am also not naive enough to think a vacuum of leadership ever causes more order to be maintained. This is especially true of dictatorial type positions as he holds/held. IMO if he was in fact assassinated, it is probably to try to push through a long toiled after oil pipeline project through the region, as well as to advance the "greater Israel" effort. I could see Turkey turning into another Libya though for sure.

Yes, I can see that. The point being this wasn't exactly a high quality contribution to the forum, but more of a way to link back to your 3rd party site. You aren't the first guy to think of this. I am just making it clear to you, unless you are adding additional quality discussion here you are going to have issues. Do whatever you want, just don't be surprised when you get banned for spam.

Oh, look, right wing media radicalizing people.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/07/23/fox-news-helped-radicalize-domestic-terrorist-cesar-sayoc-say-his-lawyers/

Kinda interesting how many people actually fall for the right-wing propaganda, honestly.

First of all, you are still talking about the same guy. Second of all, are we talking about terrorism or "radicalizing media"? I know you frothing leftists have trouble distinguishing between speech and action, but I can source countless incidents of left wing violence resulting in physical harm of human beings. So far you have been talking about one loon who never intended to, nor actually injured anyone. Please, do source a few acts of "right wing" violence resulting in injury in recent times. If it is such an increasing issue, this should not be hard should it?

Here have a few sources of left wing violence resulting in injury just to demonstrate my point:

You will notice the left likes to attack old people who can't defend themselves a lot, also they prefer to attack in groups... could it be because they are so weak and scared they have to pick targets for their indiscriminate rage that can't fight back?
