 I see lots of presumptions, assumptions, and beliefs, but no evidence of anything but Trump doing investigations relating to the 2016 elections, as he is entitled to as the chief of the executive branch. Funny how Trump has been subject to nonstop investigations one after another since 2016 (and before really), and none of that is "for personal political gain", but Trump investigating a PASSED election, well that's just too far! The assertion that Trump needs to do this to win over Joe Biden is even more laughable. Joe can't even keep himself together, or his hands to himself.

No source of any kind, sounds reliable. Also certainly doesn't sound like a horribly fumbled and failed attempt at entrapment either.

I have been trying to tell you with much difficulty for some time that you are making a mistake hoping to get accurate and timely information from the very same cartels responsible for these issues, that end up being reported elsewhere. If the Genovese or the Bonanno family owned a news network, exactly how much would you expect them to report on the organized crime problems in the local area? I am sure this is easier said than done, but could it maybe be possible for an OP to give management rights of a thread to a small group of members so they can use their own teams to manage the threads rather than draining moderator time? Altcoin Discussion has always, and in many ways will always be kind of a cesspool, but this combined with some self moderation ability might be a way to focus moderator time where it is more needed. Nothing is preventing anyone from raising issues about abuse in other parts of the forum, and via the trust system if they feel self moderation is being abused. It makes sense too because who has more interest in maintaining the quality of a thread than the team/individual hosting it?

I looked into the laws about this, and I think you may be misinterpreting the law. I think what is defined as "cockfighting memorabilia" is implements meant to attach to a cock like foot razors etc. Technically under the law you just have some knives with words on them. One sample I found for California, likely one of the most restrictive US States:

Manufacturing, buying, selling, bartering, exchanging, or possessing any cockfighting implements (i.e., gaffs, slashers) or any other sharp implement designed to be attached to a rooster's leg is a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment in a county jail for up to one year and/or a maximum $10,000 fine. I can't seem to find any federal or even state laws banning what you have here. I am not a lawyer or anything and I might be wrong but I think you should be well within US law owning and selling these items. Using them, that is a different story. If you know a specific law you thinks restricts this I would be happy to look over it. Good luck with your sale.

Who said anything about being civil? What does being "civil" mean? You get to define this of course. Again, thanks for making a great example of users not being able to separate their personal feelings from general forum conduct. I am not demanding anything, certainly not perfection. All I am doing is documenting publicly these interactions for review. You would be surprised how often the "universe" reacts some times to mere words alone.

And there we are, talking about obsessive stalkers abusing the system. Vod certainly doesn't have a pattern of abusing the forum rules and trust system does he? Regardless if you see it or not (or care to) people abuse these systems in a very targeted way. In this case it not only results in censorship by default but is an attempt at "gaslighting". Everyone along the way is following the rules, but considerations of intent and result often go ignored, intentionally or otherwise. I know you see it is the same group of users, and I would wager a very large percentage of those reports are from people who are publicly having a dispute with me. This is the buffer where selective enforcement and plausible deniability can exist, and the system is abused at a detriment to all of us.

Acting on these types of reports just incentivizes this kind of behavior even more, and cumulatively wastes a lot of moderator time. Additionally it creates an atmosphere on the forum where people are incentivized to not speak freely. Obsessively applying the rules can also be a form of abuse. It is like having a team of county inspectors following you around all day and taking notes, measurements, photos, etc so they can find ways to fine you for non-compliance for any constantly changing arbitrarily enforced code they can.
