461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banned in China. Did it affect the price? on: October 02, 2017, 09:52:27 AM
I wish someone counted the times China has banned bitcoin. the number is lost throughout history. I have counted 4 times already that the Chinese have allegedly banned bitcoin and each time it affected the price greatly like this last week.

The only think that they ban for sure is ICO. There were talk that they ban bitcoin but with no supporting news or articles, this was more for them to buy cheap bitcoin before he started to rise again.
462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: October 02, 2017, 09:51:07 AM
if to become the main money in a country, I think too soon for that.
but if you look at the development of bitcoin is now really amazing and experienced a drastic increase that can beat the local money from a country.

It type of development think that nothing can defeat bitcoin, but with some rumors for upcoming fork with bitcoin gold think that this will be to much for us.
3 types of bitcoin, inst this little to much.

As for bitcoin to be some country main currency think that this will be hard in any time soon, more it will be another option but main hard.
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin. 2017 will be $ 1 in December. on: October 01, 2017, 04:59:10 PM
It was a joke. I laughed. Dogs never, will never be worth even 10 cents. Conventional fork, within, people take it because of the price and start to believe in miracles. But they are not happening.

now the price is around 25 sat can shoot up to 250, but that's it.

Do you relly think that DOGE will come back to over 180 satoshi, that is just dream, as someone here mentioned this is fun coin, was good back in 2015 but know dont recall someone said anything nice for this coin. It will take lot of effort for developers that this coin come close to 100 satoshi not 250.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to BTC if all countries shut down exchange trading like China? on: September 30, 2017, 11:01:48 AM
I dont want to thing about it. Bitcoin is something that was meant to be used without influence of bank and government so this will not happen that all exchanges go down for good. But maybe if this somehow happens think that in this point price would be so high that people will start to buy it in any possible way.

Still we have so many coin besides bitcoin but dont think that this will happen just do see point if everything goes dark in world of crypto.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First China Now South Korea on: September 30, 2017, 10:59:07 AM
What should we do keep your bitcoin, sell it, or buy more?

now because I am a little skeptic, but I can see that there is no decreasing value of the the BTC... Huh

for me, i still keep and buy more bitcoin if i have more money and i sell my bitcoin if i needed money for buying sometimes for my daily needs. the bitcoin value is increase from time to time and especially with the price, we see that the price is trying to break more barrier and once its increase, it will goes up high. so i am suggesting for you to keep your bitcoin as much as you can and you can buy more bitcoin to increase the amount of your bitcoin.

Yes keeping bitcoin is sure thing. No matter if they are countries that are banning bitcoin, there will always be some that they dont like this, but still they are countries that will adopt fully bitcoin, like Japan. This will not influence much in mean of bitcoin price but still hope that it will be bigger amount of countries that will adopt or accept bitcoin rather then ban it for good.
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what's the future of bitoin in china ? on: September 30, 2017, 10:56:09 AM
It seems that there is a small percentage of bitcoin hodlers and users left in china, since their government banned bitcoins, those who want to use bitcoins freelh, might have cashed in their bitcoin to fiat to move to another country that legalized.bitcoin, in which it will be much benefecial for them, since they do not need to hide.i think those persons in china that have still bitcoins, may have just kept their bitcoins on their offline wallets, like trezor, and just watch how bitcoin moves, and hope that this coming chinese election, their.government might hange their mind regarding bitcoin ans ICOs. As of now, there is a small chance that bitcoin will have a future in china until their ban is lifted, we could all just sit and watch what will the chinese government do, if othet countries out grew them financially because of bitcoin.

Not need to be true. They have other option and they can easily exchange bitcoin in Japan. This is just some example but dont think that China is out of bitcoin, maybe government ban for good, but they will find a way to exchange it for fiat if necessary. Probably best option for they will going to Japan, but think that they are limited for cash in China or they didnt, know that in Europe is limit for this 15000 eur for a day.
467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do you think about pump and dump? on: September 30, 2017, 10:49:34 AM
what do you think about pump and dump?  did you ever trade on pump and dump event? can you give few tips for how to make money from this events? what i need to look for?

I liked pump and dump, because for me it's art in trading  Grin
and my suggestion do not buy when the pump occurs more than 70%, it's better to wait to buy at bottom or buy another coin

That’s true. It seems like the question man is not an expert rather is a newbie. So, advised, stay away from these market fishers. They are only to indulge the newcomers by showing them huge money out there and then they play with their money, making loss to newcomers. It happens many times.
Yeah, although this scenario does not make us loss  our money after long time trading on the crypto market and received more experiences, but it very useful for whales eat newbie and speculators. Grin
Whales are always looking for those who are new to this market so that they can enjoy big profits form their silly mistakes and I really feel sorry for newcomers. The older traders should help them out at maximum to avoid losses. There is no need to let them fall to whales.

Newcomers who are looking for quick ways to get rich with doing their own research is just scandalous. They deserve the consequences that come to them in whatever form it may be. Much easier to buy and hold BTC long term.
It is just matter of time the prices are low as compare to the past prices and it is time to buy if once prices start rising the profit rate must be very high and no one will stop from securing high profit so pump and dump continues in this field the only thing that matters which is skills.

Its something that many experience trader are looking for. Cuz they know now to see and predict this signs and use this to make profit. Experience and skill is they major factor for serious traders, some inexperience traders look for this but end up with loosing.
468  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN = 5000$ THIS 2017? on: September 30, 2017, 10:44:27 AM
I guess it already crossed 5k USD . Just before there was a drop in price of Bitcoin, it had crossed 5k USD. Then when China boycotted Bitcoin and JP Morgan called Bitcoin fraud , it fell down to like 3k USD.

Yes one the major factor why price went down in the first place but now with all cleared is quite possible that we will see another break for 5k. Many think that this fork with bitcoin gold will be in some way factor for achiving 5k price but this will be very messy by me. We will have then to many "bitcoin" option for me and maybe for all here.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jamie Dimon bashes Bitcoin again on: September 29, 2017, 08:10:23 PM
I thing all of this popular peoples who are saying wrong things about bitcoin are making profits from this. They contact a big investor than they post something wrong about bitcoin. When the price falls investors buy bitcoins because they know the pricw will grow again. Thats how I see the situation

Have the same feeling. They dont buy small amount like most of us here they buy in thousands to make huge profit with multiple account.
They sad so many times that this is fraud and that only criminals use bitcoin, but in the end what are they?
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is basically a stock that allows you to purchase things on: September 29, 2017, 01:56:23 PM
Some take this as a stock. Dont want o be little off but many try to invest like they do in stock exchange. So many consider bitcoin as some sort of stock cuz it has his ups and down, and many with this see opportunity to get some additional income or made profit depend how the person who invest look at this.

Many thing are consider a stock but, bitcoin is not. Simple answer is that many companies that have stock are paying dividends bitcoin do not.
This is main difference in this point of view.
471  Economy / Speculation / Re: Financial collapse means Bitcoin boom? on: September 29, 2017, 12:11:33 PM
I don't know about bitcoin being the go-to currency.  I would think the USD would be it, or gold, or some other stable form of money.   Keyword is stable, and that's one thing bitcoin isn't.  I'm also not convinced those currencies will fail altogether.   They could just be in a serious dip and might rebound.

Bitcoin has got to get a hell of a lot less volatile before it's a safe haven form of money.

If this is going to happen and it will many will lokk for some possible low risk solution. Like you mentioned many will go for USD cuz its world wide spread and gold cuz it has physical value. Bitcoin will also be some good alternative for many or some other crypto coin (possible ETH).

BTW almost nothing is stable on current market exchange.
472  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 millon for a Bitcoin is this fiction or reality? on: September 29, 2017, 06:30:33 AM
People says 1 BTC will be cost 1 Million do you believe in that?

Fiction more then reality. Cant say for sure it will be possible but for the moment this is really impossible we need first to get on some 10k 100k before we could even think to be on 1 million for single bitcoin.

This might happen but most likely that many wont see this price in this life time, its good for speculations but still unreal price to be at the moment.
473  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: September 29, 2017, 06:17:03 AM
However governments focus on digital growth cashless society is simply an impossible task. The reason why I made this statement is that even now people avoid using cards just because of the increased fee that's been levied as well few people haven't gained the required knowledge to use it.
Yes it is, and I dont see it happening soon , well since every country has its fiat I think governments will not allow bitcoin to rule over it, they will not allow a decentralized system be ahead which they cannot control just like that and just think about using bitcoin in buying icecream hassle isnt it? Unlike if we have still paper money , simple transaction.
A cashless society is really not all about Bitcoin and decentralized systems and I doubt more than a handful governments would want to incorporate that in their cashless policies. It should be made bare here that going digital or cashless does not necessarily mean transparency would follow. Bitcoin was only able to accomplish that much by way of the introduction and use of the blockchain and hashing algorithm.

Correct. Cashless is not just bitcoin or any other other crypto coin at all. We use cards any type or card where transaction is cashless. Everyone pays at least once with card so this is cashless transaction, person didnt pay with cash.

So anything that is purchases by credit card or electronic funds transferral rather than with cash or checks is cashless.
474  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Reach New All Time Highs Just Before The Segwit2x Fork on: September 29, 2017, 06:03:48 AM
Yeah, duh? another free shitcoin for each bitcoin you have to dump for more real bitcoins - YAY!

And we will have 3 coins with "bitcoin" in name. Bad stuff.
Hope that this will be resolved with no more creating another "BITCOIN" close or attempts to be better then bitcoin.

Final is bitcoin is one everything else is altcoin.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: September 28, 2017, 07:19:24 PM
This is a big mistake, my friend. Because trade is not a bet. If you do the research for the trade and you follow up, you earn money. The bet is just a mess. So these two comparisons are very ridiculous.

Besides, I would not advise you to bet. Because the case always gets a safe and the system is designed accordingly.
If we are gambling we have to place our bet, although trading is an educated guess we can also make that possible with gambling betting on games that has no house edge or what we called skilled based games. We have our journey and we choose it based on our capacity and understanding, if trading is good for you then you have to take your own journey as there are also people who believe that gambling is more easy than trading.

If you look from different angle you will see that in both you gain money/profit or lose.
All have good and bad sides that how thing are working.
Trading demand research and gambling (this depends on type of it) requires some knowledge of that game/sport.

So when all is putted on the test you need some basic research or knowledge on particular gambling game.
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is being accepted as method of payment by more and more businesses on: September 28, 2017, 07:06:25 PM
Those are good news, and making it accepted as a payment gateway makes people feel more interested in buy them in order to spend in those stores, because that makes bitcoin circulate, and it is all a whole proccess, so if someone buys bitcoin to spend in there, then it makes the marketcap grows.
So it would be amazing to see bitcoin accepted everywhere, that would make it grow a lot.

Yes and there are more companies are integrating bitcoin with their business. In the future we are hoping that its easy to spend bitcoin on terminals in groceries and any boutiques like credit and debit cards. Key points here are accessibility, flexibility, and ease of doing transaction.

We all hope that this will happen some day, if we dont count Japan cuz they fully legalize this. For this to happen all over the world or at least in good part of this it would be great, even as a idea is good, saw on several places so far, sign bitcoin is accepted here, but to be honest didnt know if they do or this was just a someone joke.

I have tried to go into that store which do have a sign outside that they do accept bitcoin payments but when i try to transact and asked they didnt know such thing and they said they just put it.I was frustrated because my hopes was gone on spending directly my bitcoin on my place.Hopefully this thing would be available worldwide i dont know why government does still block this kind of innovation.

That sometimes happens, I searched for places accepting bitcoin in my country and when I saw the payments accepted some of them didn’t accept bitcoins. It may have happened that they accepted them for a while but they stopped. The reason, I don’t know why, it’s just speculation.
So, I don’t get too excited with more and more businesses accepting bitcoin payments because I know that some have stopped accepting them. There is still a long way to go.

Probably is same thing here. I dont see why would they put this sign just to see people enter the store and that they could say they have business or what.
This is bad advertise for bitcoin and mostly for all of us users who would like to see and maybe buy something with bitcoin.

477  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Can china actually ban mining?!? on: September 28, 2017, 07:01:58 PM

Quote
I wouldn't be so sure about China caring about the depletion of their country's natural resources...

The Chinese government cares about it because they are not getting their share of the profits.

I disagree with this because it seems to be a planned ICO banned knowing that market will fall. So they would have bough a huge chunk on price dips and due to which from 3k market rose to 3900$  so government would have actually made real good amount of money if this turns out to be true.

China ban ICO and that news is official, also there were several attempts that they want to ban bitcoin and mining officially but dont think that they can ban mining. Miners dont need to mine bitcoin they can mine ethereum monero or some other coin. So in this case i dont see anything that they can do to ban mining.

479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Token disappeared on myetherwallet on: September 28, 2017, 02:01:10 PM
I nearly receive token from an airdrop, so what I do is I put the token name and the address where it came from (like what the sender told me), and it's a success I already receive a token from an airdrop. Then in the next morning I want to check the token I receive, because I'm happy to receive my first one  Grin, but it's already gone.

My question is, is it possible for the token to suddenly disappear, it is not that much valuable because it is not much big. But I want to know why? to help secure the next token I will receive in the future.

Most likely you got hacked cuz this isnt news many got hacked. Check on transaction history and then tokens explorer you will see what happen if someone took from you then you will see this as sent if not from time to time MEW knows to stuck so go for show tokens only.
480  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign and Reward on: September 28, 2017, 08:41:01 AM
Is there a user who has made a total of 1bitcoin in signature campaigns alone , not investments but payment from posting and being paid.

I think many bitcointalk user already got 1 bitcoin total salary in doing signature camp. Especially to those who are with high rank now. If you calculate for example I saw some pay for a Legend 0.0275 per week x 4 weeks = 0.11 for 1 month so it will take only 10 months to gain more than 1bitcoin salary for just joining signature camp.

Yes at the moment this is true. Need around 10 month of signature work to get 1 full bitcoin. This can be changed little if you try to do with bounties in social media campaigns this can be reduces for month or two, off course this only depends from how many followers you have on some social media (mostly thinking on twitter and facebook). Whit this combination its possible to gain faster this 1 bitcoin but not faster enough if you look how many month it takes to accomplish this goal.

So best is to do both.
