281  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: November 18, 2017, 11:29:47 AM
This is possible, but this would be implemented by the governments.  This would result into fiat currency being converted to electronic currency. Generally, I think this will not result to the governments using cryptocurrency as most of those are decentralized. Something the governments don't want.
I think, the government will not agree on implementing this in the first place. Because, digital currency or cryptocurrencies are decentralized, therefore taxing it would be impossible. By having the fact that it is decentralized and they cannot tax people out of it,the government will eventually be insufficient with their funds. And might result to banning the cryptos.

You think that tax is only problem, for the government. More will be that they cant control price and flow.
That why they dont allow and they will never accept it at the first place.

But banning this is not the solution it will only make that more people will use bitcoin and that price will go even more up.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: November 18, 2017, 11:28:11 AM
Who dont think that bitcoin is best investment.

Just for example to hot go so much back in time i will take just this year as an example, if you bought bitcoin in January at little over 1000 dollars you have now profit more then 8 times. Simple math. Imagine how much someone made if they invested little more.

283  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Amazon Integrate Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2017, 11:25:37 AM
As an online shopping store giants they should and can be implemented. If so this happens trust me they can double their customer and profit big time

Yes that how we think but they probably consider and the other side effect. If this comes as bad move (my personal opinion is that it wont be) they will have major loss, they have to consider this option to. But if they finally decide to do this think this will be major impact to both price and addoption for bitcoin and after this think that all over the world major resells will accept bitcoin permanently.
284  Economy / Economics / Re: 99% of the people still think that fiat money are better than crypto on: November 18, 2017, 11:22:46 AM
I was talking with a friend of mine about cryptocurrencies and he said:
"Cryptocurrencies are anonymous?Nothing on the internet is anonymous.Having a bunch of dollars or euro in the pocket is the most anonymous way to store money. Grin"

Damn, now i think that he is right and fiat money are still way more convenient ,despite all the inflation, banks monopoly and control.

Your friend needs to expand the context.

First, how much fiat can he hold anonymously...can he hold $100,000 Euro in his pocket, anonymously? No.

Second, to get that anonymous fiat in his pocket he needs to go to a bank, withdraw the money and likely pay a fee. Oh, and when he withdraws that fiat his bank records that transaction (and that record probably has his name and account number!) Now, I can send you $100,000 euro (or a bit more than 100 Bitcoin) and while my wallet address and your wallet address will be public, you and I each are in sole control over who knows that wallet address is owned by either one of us.

Third, his fiat Euro is worth less tomorrow than it is to day, while our bitcoin is worth more tomorrow than it is today, simply because our money supply is finite.

Yes ho has anonymously 100k in pocket no one. No matter how we turn thing out we need fiat, why we change bitcoin or ethereum to fiat every time. No need to be 100k or 1000 dollars or euros but eventually we all do this on some point.
285  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the world really needs virtual currencies on: November 18, 2017, 08:01:31 AM
I think the world needs Bitcoin due to the following reasons:

1) To facilitate cheaper trade and commerce without the fear of being robbed by banks of all profits that rightfully belongs to merchants.
2) To engage into business worldwide without having to comply with all legal requirements and papers that are so tedious and expensive.
3) To control ones money.
4) To ensure ones transactions are secured, and your identity is not put at stake or will be used against you in the long run.

The above enumeration is not exclusive. There may be other reasons behind the move to cryptocurrencies.
World is in the need of cryptocurrencies just because of all these reasons that have been mentioned in yours list. Adding some more to it, I want to say that cryptocurrencies have opened up the doors to entire new era of development and has provided a way of earning to thousand of the jobless people hence contributing as one of the largest factor behind reduction of unemployment.

Moreover, the use of digital currencies has proved to be easiest way for cross border trading and money exchanges without any taxes and complete security and confidentiality of personal information of the holder.
Yes the world is in very much need of the digital currencies and it is due to all those factors that combines together to make Btcs or other altcoins as a far better option than the physical money. When it come to the use of older methods of payment and transaction, we do not find them useful and eligible to manage with the needs of the society that is undergoing the technological advancements day by day.

Along with this, volatility decentralization. Secured and cheapest payment methods are some of the facts that add up to the favor of coins over fiats

Yes it is cheapest and secured method and that why government dont like anything from this they cannot control it and they cannon influence it.
We are in the maybe most advance technological era, and we are still afraid of some thing that might help us or easy us living.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: November 18, 2017, 07:52:29 AM
What we could say for his year so far.
Best year for bitcoin ever, biggest price of bitcoin so far (ATH), we had one good and one so called work (bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold).

What more can we expect from this year, can we hit 10k magic this year possibly. This is something that many expected for long time, only this will produce problem earning bitcoin will become harder then even even now is cuz price is going up.
287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: November 17, 2017, 09:58:38 AM
This is something that all are asking and all are getting the same answer. Trade, gamble, mine, work for it or design something here like ANN and BB codes for signatures.

Lot of possibilities to earn if you are creative and adopting to new technologies.

Yes we have multiple ways earn bitcoins. But to grow your bitcoins you have to take the risk. Longtime holding is the only method without risk it will give you profit apart from this you must put your bitcoins at risk to make money. In that Trading is the best option invest your bitcoins in high volume altcoins it will give you 100% profit.

Off course one the best ways is this to follow some alt that is growing or have potential for growing and then invest some amount to it later sell for higher price.
this is good way to do it but takes time to watch and follow then for this.
288  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin gold value will rise to bitcoin value on: November 17, 2017, 09:37:35 AM
To be realistic not a single alt can be matched bitcoin in price, only one option can be done for alt to be more popular then bitcoin. But this is also hard to be accomplished if we look in long term. For bitcoin gold think it will be less valued then bitcoin cash and also it will be less popular then bitcoin cash. Maybe for long term can be consider good option but there are some better coin for that purpose.

That's not really true. It will take some time but unless Bitcoin stabilizes around trillions of dollars, there will eventually be an altcoin that will be worth more than Bitcoin. It's just a matter of time before the first altcoin reaches a value in the $100 to $500 billion range and beyond. A portfolio of alts (similar to an ETF) could even be worth trillions. Granted this will take 5-10 years or longer, but it will most likely happen.

You think that some alt can be better in price from bitcoin dont think it will be like that.
Maybe they will be popular but in price not single one will manage to get close to bitcoin many tried and fail and so it will be for many years to come.
289  Economy / Economics / Re: it is possible fiat currency will crashed? on: November 17, 2017, 08:48:35 AM
Fiat currency has been invented without bitcoins and everyone is using their own currency as the source of their living. Not everyone is capable of earning bitcoins since it requires a computer and internet, So the probability of fiat currency to be crashed is so impossible.
It could be in a realization period and thinking, what if we used bitcoin everyday? I think it could be hard if not all around us are accepting this kind of currency. Using of bitcoin is not the way of crashing fiat money, but is just an another option for us where we feel comfortable on our doing.
For now, it is not possible I can't think of it that it will crashed nowadays, maybe after a couple of decades when all of the people are already aware and already embraced the world of cryptocurrency but for now we cannot tell it, it is too early to predict what will happen in the future.

Maybe you are wrong, every monetary system is based (i mean in all countries) with this aspect. You get 1 dollar, euro, GBP and you return 1.01 or 1.02.
This is simple money isn't back up with anything except interest.

Every single currency will crash eventually, including commodity backed currencies. Simply said, every complex system will fail or falter eventually, the more complex, the greater the likelihood of a problem.
290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the moon!!! on: November 17, 2017, 08:22:34 AM
Moon is definitely coming, price went little over 8000 and is little falling down, so possibility to hit 10k by this years end is now little optimistic. Think it could happen at least for the moment if not to stay and remain on that price.

If this years was like this can wait to see what would it be in next one.
291  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin rise to $500k in three years? on: November 17, 2017, 07:39:33 AM
$50k in 2 years
$100k in 3-4 years
$500k in 10 years???

I think $500k is possible, though not in 2020. I think most likely Bitcoin will end up somewhere between $100k and $500k and probably won't actually hit $500k.

Little to optimistic on this, Im not saying that this would be bad, it would be good but realistically this is little to big for this price to be in 3 years from now. Maybe we will see 5 digits price in that time but to be real not think that half of million would be the price. But think that price will go up, maybe in range 100-200k but thins price also is little bigger then im think it will be by that time.
292  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why people fear about BITCOIN on: November 16, 2017, 01:02:08 PM
They are afraid of something new. Bitcoin is like that. New innovative and secure. This is something that they need first to accept then it will be easier for them to not just use bitcoin but to accept it as something that is not just thing for trade.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: November 16, 2017, 12:52:58 PM
What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked

For now, I don't think so. People are still comfortable with the old system or the same system where we use regular cash. Maybe someday, when the world is more advanced than today. I believe that time will come as well. Good thing we are already familiar with it.

When time comes for this it will happen while we sleep. Now like you mentioned many are still using old fashion way cuz this was from start of using come money or currency. And many still are hard to accept changes in the world like crypto is trying to do with the today's money system. Hope that when everything is set for this that crypto will slowly take his place for now only Japan fully accepting it and acknowledging it completely.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: November 16, 2017, 12:08:53 PM
It might survive in the future are ethereum, litecoin, dash and dogecoin. The number one in my list is ethereum because we know it, that is always near of bitcoin in the market. I wondered how far can go the other altcoins.

Remove doge from this list, ethereum, dash, monero are probably the best option for long term, litecoin had his time how and now it will be in stable range until next halving. Many will test luck with some ICOs but this is only on short term investment.
295  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: November 15, 2017, 09:43:51 AM
I prefer to invest in bitcoin because as a main of crypto currencies bitcoin is more stable than its derivatives.
Beside it, bitcoin is a global currency with a wider reach without knowing national borders.
In trading bitcoin has been known and accepted earlier than altcoin

Right now bitcoin is still king, but I think ethereum will become no.1 in short order, and Ethereum is growing exponentially, while Bitcoin has reached its maximum capacity for now. Cryptocurrencies, like social networks, have extremely strong network effects. And i think both of them are good in investment.
No limits for Bitcoin price. I do not think the highest price in this year is the all time highest price of Bitcoin forever. You have to remember, the whale never accept low price for their Bitcoin if they still want to make more profits. As long as the market still easily to control like now, they still control the market with their money Roll Eyes

You got it right no limits for bitcoin price. In past it was that alt follow bitcoin in price and it was easily predicted that investing in alt will bring you double the income, but now its not like that. Not many alts follow this bitcoin price pattern but it could be good for long term investment to place some amount of bitcoin in some alt.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: November 15, 2017, 06:43:44 AM
This year is not over and we could maybe expect to see price going high again. With cancellation of the SegWit2x hard fork which was supposed to happen tomorrow price correction was in range from 10-15% form ATH. Im hopping that this is nor over and think that this year will bring another big move, my prediction is moving price for more then 20% from current one so thinking that that next target is 8500 or more. Magic figure for me is 10000 but think that this price will hot be happening this year.

297  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: November 15, 2017, 06:32:18 AM
Simply putted to line is yes.

One of ways to think about bitcoin as an investment is to consider its rise against the any currency (dollar, euro, rub .....). And most important reasons that the bitcoin seems like a good investment include its growing popularity, security and status as the first ever in a growing world of digital currencies.

Whit just these fact and there are more but only with this we see that investing is bitcoin is good idea, if we look at the price grow from start of this year then invest while you still can.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: November 14, 2017, 12:30:27 PM
The entire market is in the red. Everyone has lost money. What do you think?
Up's and down's are natural in cryptocurrency market since it is a community driven asset. Up's and down's brings life to the crypto community most especially investors and traders. That is where we get our profits and it is always an advantage for us in every angle so I think we should not worry about the coins that are bleeding too bad and dying on the market because it will bounce back every now and then. Therefore, the best thing to do when coins price bleed to death is to buy some and hold. And of course wait for a good timing until the time to harvest our profits. Take note that "Patience is virtue." Hardwork means success so it is always good to grab an opportunity.

Very good explanation. Ups and downs is part of any market, not just our crypto currency market. When our teacher explaining our first economy lesson he gave example of see / oceans tides. It goes and comes in infinite loop. So the market.

Right every professor do this as an perfect example how the any market works.
But every alt coin have his own people that trade and some are more popular others are less.
This is something that normal when we have so many coin that we dont know sometimes in what to invest.

299  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's profit on: November 14, 2017, 11:55:40 AM
Bitcoin profit can be described with one word hold it as much as you can.
We see that price went this year significantly and that it dont have any mean of stopping so best is to hold if necessary sell small amount for just covering expenses for net and electricity.
