What we have witnessed this year in the performance of bitcoin is a clear example of how difficult it is to predict the behavior of an asset as novel as bitcoin in a certain period. At this point in 2017 not even the most optimistic bitcoiners would have imagined a bitcoin price touching the $20,000 line. Therefore it seems to me an absolutely impossible mission to predict the future of bitcoin in such a long term, and even more so with the countless advances that are being generated in digital technology and the restrictive legislations that will begin to emerge around the use of cryptocurrencies in the world.
Being in this kind of trading is very unpredictable, who would have imagine that bitcoin will be this popular and that its price would rice as this high? Maybe 20 years from now would be for different from what bitcoin is today. The point is that, it is right that we, who have invested in this digital currency had made the right choice. From that point of view many didnt think it will be like this with bitcoin price. Why is that that price is so high with no intese of stoping that is something else, that believe no many have good or right answer. And right on that who invested now in 20 years he will have huge whelt on him to balance or invest to maybe something different maybe we will have some new comer then that will try to take out bitcoin. |

I never give consideration to bitcoin as the new gold. What the growth attained by bitcoin and gold is completely different compared to that of the gold which has gained good reputation as well universal acceptance. Gold is something an important asset that has the materialistic value and the same has made it to be trusted.
Many consider this a gold more less like digital gold and such they want ot invest in it with huge profit as we can see in last no just few days or months. So this is gold any type of gold and always will be with every passing day. |

Price can be unpredictable true but they know the risk and for some who made right moment investment it was very profitable. Yes, bitcoin is a good investment because it gained over 2000% increase in value (pure profit) in 2017. What if bitcoin can get another 1000% in 2018? that will be amazing right? bitcoin is still young more profits are coming in the future.
It would be good but many still see this as very risky investment cuz they are afraid what if price went down rapidly. This is why many dont trust bitcoin and my hope is that in next year they will that it will change a lot and that we will see many that invest in bitcoin. Gaining in value is never something that would be good, but seeing how this year progress was we can only hope for better in next year. |

Why would someone even think about it like that. Dont think we will see any fail in next few years for any fiat think that last one was GBP with them leaving EU.
It will make some major event similar to what happen with GB and with brexit. This was major for them and for fiat currency they have GBP it was recorded i believe that it had lowest value almost in entire history.

Growing Bitcoin price overshadowed popularity of all its forks. Recently we were amazed by results that show clones of Bitcoins. Now internet mass media isn’t so active in talking about BTG or BTH.
True on that saw on marketcap that there are planning several more from diamond to red but this will all shadow then. Not gonna be good at this point and many will think that this is just another big one scam coin or shit coin. I think they stored bitcoins to their wallet just for them to save and wait some time for them to sell it. And they protecting their bitcoin to some scammer.

This is why if you do not have a lot of bitcoin you need to begin to keep it or you are going to regret it, in many years there is the possibility that even one bitcoin may be enough to change your life, getting one bitcoin now may seem difficult but if you save every satoshi you have you may reach that amount fairly quickly not as fast as before, but maybe in a few months or in a year. Bitcoin benefit of saving for long time is better than saving for the short time. The long time saving give you a good amount of money, because the value of the bitcoin is rasing and as long as you save bitcoin it create high income as well. as the value raised in the last month is 10k$ while the value raised for the last week is 3k$. It means the long time you save bitcoin the high will be the profit. True but it is not easy to save long time. Image you have 10 bitcoins in January this year and by now you collected few more. Think will you save then or you would be temped to sell them with this current price. If we look on price it really not that easy to make this decision it actually really hard. Probably first pick for all will be ethereum and then maybe monero and from corner it will be litecoin with lightning network.

I think the cryptocurrency technology itself will flourish 20 years from now, by that time we will live in a cashless society, we really cannot predict what will happen with btc because its too far ahead of the future, but if bitcoin continues this pace for years, I think bitcoin will be in a really good situation in the future. A lot of people will withdraw their money because they want to buy gifts, it has already been happening every year with bitcoin. We would all want to see those prices, and so i am. Because i want to withdraw some money to have it on fiat.. We will see, i am optimist too, but i dont think that it will increase that much in just a few days Its always like that but this time we have big price this time and if sell comes dont think that many will spend much maybe they will withdrawal 0.2 max for this cuz think that more then enough for gift (except if you have huge family  ). Still price moved little forward and we have weekend and next whole week for some movement in price, if dont reach this target then we will have some downfall in price not huge but price could go down for 2000-3000 down. |

by this year end, bitcoin price will cross upto $20k and no doubts exist about that, because we are one step ahead to hit that $20k price by this year end. and the massive price hike will happen after this holidays. in my own predictions after these year 2017, bitcoin price will hit $20k and by the first month of 2018, it will cross over $25k after a dip. it is just a prediction.
You are probably right that we will see price reaching if not breaching 20k but for the moment is seem stable at this 17k range. Dont expect to see price going maybe over 25-30k still seem little unreal for the moment now. Maybe we will after this year GOLDEN year for bitcoin gonna see little different on for the next. Maybe we will see price stable whole year and then again we could see bigger improvement in price. |

In fact the best thing that you can do is just get yourself a hardware wallet, maybe you are thinking that this is a joke, but a lot of people have already lost their bitcoins because they were storing their btc's in an online wallet.
And they are not expensive, just tell me, do you think that paying $49 for a single wallet is expensive? of course not, becuase you are going to protect it almost forever.
Coinbase is safe, the same happens with blockchain.info, but they are online wallets, and that is why i have never liked them, a hacker can get your funds easy from there.
Just get a trezor
Trezor or Ledger Nano S is equal in functionality but only the price that makes difference. Online wallets (not giving out private keys) are not safe, so you should only store little amount of bitcoin in online wallets. Other wallets on the web are a bit safer, if they give you your private key or seed, but you should consider that if you have to use your private key or seed on a webpage to interact with your wallet, you have to input it on the webpage. There are several possible points of attack: Keylogger built into keyboard, keylogger built into the OS on the PC, malware on the PC, phising website to grab your key, or man in the middle attack while your key are on the way to the website (travelling on the web from your PC to the wallet's server). If you use a hardware wallet, the private key or seed won't be shared with anyone (PC, keyboard, internet, website, etc.) With a hardware wallet, you only send signed transactions from your PC, from which the private key or seed is not extractable. Everything in the process that needs a private key happens on the hardware wallet itself this is why they are really safe choice. You pay for this safety and not only for a wallet itself. I personally use one on exchange and my big prize is on Ledger Nano S. Friend recommend to me and Im more then pleased with this and would highly recommend it to anyone to use it. Simple and with no worries, except when you lose your 12 word pass then can be little tricky. |

Now no such think probably the best will give you 20-30 satoshi per hour, better try with some bounty programs you will have better luck and follow airdrops for some token you will have better chances and you will get some amount that can later used in trade and then you will see how much you can collect. |
