701  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: July 31, 2017, 10:10:41 AM
Cashless society seems to be a good concept. But there are lots of obstacles in implying it.There are more people who are still illiterate and they don't know any thing about digital transactions. Most of them don't own a bank account, don't even have a credit or debit card.Cashless transactions was even tried in india by devaluing high value notes.but it failed.People found comfort in using paper money itself. So,in today's situation,i think its highly impossible to make a cashless society.

For every big implementation there are big problems. Like you said concept is good maybe far good on paper then how it will be when and if this come to life. If we look at some point of view it is good we will eliminate paper money meaning we will gave more trees on out planet. From this perspective it is good concept but this process can be done over night and be implementation today for tomorrow. Lot of work is needed and lot of time to. Paper money is something that everyone loves, even we exchange some amount of bitcoin for paper one when we need this. So i would not say impossible but maybe in some quite long time 100 years maybe.
702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: July 31, 2017, 10:05:33 AM
I think trading and gambling is different but it can be said to be almost similar. Like this, gamblers do not have something, while trading implies ownership, gambling is a chance game, whereas with trading it takes a strategy, trading is based on research, but with gambling's not too needed. From these things look different but almost similar. I'm still confused, but obviously many said trading and gambling are different.

Different but still the same. What you do you, you put your money on the line. In gambling most is luck and good call if you pick some sport match, but with trading it takes just more then luck. Skill and research in what or when to invest is key point to will you end up with lot of cash or you will lose. Main difference is that when you trade and see that you made bad call or put money in some bad investment can reclaim some amount of it and lost can be minimal, while in gambling you win or lose no middle in this.
703  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: July 31, 2017, 10:01:44 AM
The only benefit that i know for saving bitcoin for a long time is we will be able to avoid the nightmare of our money which is called inflation. If we will have bitcoin for a long term saving then we can avoid inflation and also earn more money because the price of bitcoin is like always going up and that will add more purchasing power to our money in the future.

Not at all because we can't take away the small chance of bitcoin to decrease it's value. Bitcoin will only avoid inflation if it's clear that 100000% bitcoin will surely rise it's price.

Im positive that bitcoin for long term will surely give us a high value we don't expect but I still have room for possibility that price will decrease more in the future even by 1-2%. It's ok to become optimisitic but let's also look at some chances might happen even for small chances.

Bitcoin made this very clear when price went more then current gold is. This will benefit is many way for long term cuz is will go up. Many save it and know that price will go up every time when halving is price is ready to go up and every time reach more then last time. So in next 5-10 years if you look at this investment it is good to have as many as possible stored.
704  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price after fork on: July 30, 2017, 05:06:24 PM
After bitcoin split we dont no what coin will increase but if that happen itsbetter to buy that two coin because possible price of that coins increase. But I dont linke bitcoin split I want bitcoin still bitcoin.

Here is mentioned already but let mentioned it again. Which new coin is better and more valuable then bitcoin. Answer none. So if splitting is the purpose of creating a new coin then ok. Will this coin be better then any other in market then no. I dont see anything that will bring something new, but in top of price many predict it will go far beyond 3000 I will agree on this but price wont be sudden as most expect think that first will come disappointment cuz price didnt reach 3000 then in few weeks we will see price reaching desired target and passing it.
705  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: July 30, 2017, 04:11:14 PM
It is very simple for me. Fiat currency loses its value every year due to inflation. The central banks around the world seems to be in a race to print out the maximum number of banknotes. But Bitcoin is protected against inflation and its value remains constant.

Many lose value especially ones that are trade with USD or EURO. Rest try to keep up with leading ones but eventually in time they will lose value as well. IN crypto there is always unpredictable option for any coin even bitcoin. TO keep then is good to trade or invest is also good you can gain some coin in value. This is still something that is new I mean on crypto and many are still have some defensive measure with this or try to take small part in this. For me bitcoin represent something as saving fund more I like when price go up like this moment is.
706  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: July 29, 2017, 07:11:01 AM
Bitcoin can theoretically last forever. Same question would be can gold last forever? Of course it can! The only problem I see is that the fiat money creators want to defend their fantasy money and the more bitcoin is accepted and the more bitcoin will contribute to make the fiat system laughable, I fear that governments will introduce laws to prohibit the use of it. They will probably claim that bitcoin is heavily used by criminals and illegal activities like btc-e.com and that they need to prohibit it.

Yes, bitcoin can crash at any time, as its price depend on the demand!

Nothing last forever not even money they start using paper money in eary 12th or 13th century and if bitcoin replace it in near future didnt last forever. This is my point if bitcoin replace money then in 100-200 year something else will replace bitcoin. This is just something that government try to overtake but with no success and lets hope they wont if they do we are gone.

For BTC-e so many rumors here and news but think that in the end they will end up ok. One of the biggest Europe exchanges have smaller btc price comparing to all but they are good.
707  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there a need for more escrows on this forum? on: July 29, 2017, 07:04:19 AM
Escrow will always be needed. No matter that scams are reduced but still they are, but providing trustworthy escrow that is something completely different in any aspect of this trade or ICO announcement. So we need them more trusty they are the better then ICO for example might have some bigger changes to go big.

For you service create one some made this and made 5-10 free charge escrows then they started to use fees or some donation. If you want to be like then then try i do your best.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [LTC] Litecoin Speculation on: July 28, 2017, 04:25:22 PM
Hey all got a question.  I bought some waves not that long ago.  I dont have that much litecoin though.  However why does it seem like litecoin price is very consistent?  For example when you look at ETH and the other altcoins, there are heavy swings.  Bitcoin also have swings as well but not that much.  It seems like litecoin is the only coin that is just staying flat etc.  Does anyone know the reason for this?  Because when bitcoin and the other altcoins fell a lot and then went back up, litecoin really didn't drop or go up that much.  Such that like it didn't drop 1/2 the price like many coins etc.

Litecoin has strong community support with miners, traders and Devs inclusive. It was the only remarkable alternative to Bitcoin until Eth showed up with advanced innovations, so i think its historical fan-base and simple tech keeps it always standing strong! But anything can happen in "cryptoworld"
Exactly, litecoin is now a very calculated coin and marketcap continues to rise. Litecoins are among of  my 5 favorite coins since last year, I think litecoin prices will continue to rise as more support and community,

For me liltecoin is one of the most trustworthy coins on the market no matter now small was his price i dont think this coin would be wasted I just think he might be returning to his place as silver coin, but now he has much more com petition then before many coins are maybe better in technical point of view, but lite for me will still be litecoin.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ALTCOINS signature campains list [UPDATE 25.07.2017.] on: July 28, 2017, 04:07:10 PM
Almost half of the campaign threads were deleted. I have read that in the Everex case it was because of a violation of the "no altcoin giveaway" rule, because there was an incentive to post in the ANN thread. I can imagine that in the other cases the reasons were similar.

So I guess the signature campaign managers would have to change the incentive model and exclude these incentives for posts in the ANN thread.
Yes they have changed the rules by posting in all sections and there is no any rule saying we must post in ANN thread again.

Yes i read all this i see that most have been deleted but new section in altcoin is open Bounties
And all are there with new links i will wait for after this weekend to see them all sorted and i will edit the list just in case some again went down.
710  Economy / Marketplace / Re: how earn btc from online??? on: July 28, 2017, 11:48:07 AM
At your rank you can begin joining in signature campaign even if you don't have avatar yet but if you rank at full member you can wear avatar and you can earn btc on their or altcoins and try also a social media campaign i know not big enough to earn but just try but dont forget read always the rules of the campaign you joining that is important.

yes your correct he can earn a lot on signature campaign just be patient until you reach your highest rank from that you can earn what would you like legendary is the best among the rest. There are many ways how to earn bitcoin from online there are jobs that pays bitcoin as your salary and there are blogging review that's pays bitcoin even gambling is a choice but not good for me.
Getting bitcoin from signature campaigns is still a prima donna on this forum, but you still can earn bitcoin in other ways, because there are still many ways to earn bitcoin from online. Even before i just earn bitcoin from gamble and i am very active gamble on sports betting.

For start getting it from signature is ok. Still prime way of earning bitcoin at least on this forum (dont remember if any have something many tried but failed). How with increase and rapid grow of social media this now represent another easy way to earn not just bitcoin but more some other coin, mostly ICO cuz they offers more services in this area. From back in old days when this was so called young, faucets and giveaways were some of ways to get come coins. How there is no easy way to get at least no anymore, you need work mosly hard one, and need good knowledge in crypto currency globally. With this they are lost of possibilities to earn and to get coin of any kind for you/his/mine work.
711  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long until $3000 or any other ATH whatsoever? on: July 28, 2017, 10:21:46 AM
Why other people rushing things and wants a quick jump to $3,000? Just be patient and just go with the flow. Im sure if price will jump to $3,000+ today, we can see post about "Im not able to buy at $2,300" "Im not able to buy at low price" "Damn! I missed the opportunities" etc.

Just watch the price and make some analyzation on what move will you do. We can't expect a new ATH today as bitcoin is currently on progress of a "changed". Let's wait before it became stable and surely we can see another trip to the moon. Don't mind the new ATH or any target price for now.

Yes, there more likely than not will be several opportunities for buying. Even if we cross the $3k mark, I don't think we will stay there for ever. There will be some retraces at which bargain hunters can step in.

Sure we will go over 3k but I dont think we will momentary cross after August 1st. Think that after some time this mean on month or two we will see crossing it, and for anyone this can be opportunity to buy. We all are expecting for price to go over 3k and much higher so if opportunity arrives for it it need to be used wisely and with extreme caution. Reason is that it may end with first price drop and then with rise.
712  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: July 28, 2017, 10:01:21 AM
Yes it is true, looking for bitcoin need hard work and it should be with creativity but it is not a solution to reduce unemployment, because as we know today bitcoin can not be known so many people, Only certain people know of bitcoin.

Not quite true. Some local papers in my country last month dedicated 7 days texts lines about bitcoin and some other cryptos with solid explanations how to mine work and trade with some solid analysis on prices. But its not good to say that bitcoin reduce unemployment cuz this is single person factor. You can work or you wont work. Simple as this. But rapidly increasing the bitcoin price will eventually get that more freelancing sites offers or employer offers payment in bitcoin. This will be good cuz like you mentioned will increase popularity in countries where not many people knows about bot just bitcoin but any other crypto that is popular today.
713  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: July 28, 2017, 09:54:39 AM
Working both ways is much better and good for some additional income if you consider any crypto as money (mean you change it momentary for fiat). Also working your day job is good you have certain amount of money you will get at end of each month, with bitcoin or any other crypto is little different you get payed weekly or monthly or even if ICO is in order after this ICO coin end. But if you consider like most of user bitcoin as savings or as some additional income then its also good you can dedicate few hours a day to work for this and in the end you will have some in stash for future.
714  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: July 27, 2017, 02:14:37 PM
No, I do not think that it is too late to buy bitcoin. Bitcoin is still an evolving currency and there will be many price increases for the future years to come. More and more people will be looking at getting into using bitcoin and this will drastically bump up the price, even though it has already increased drastically in the past few months.
i also do not think that it is still too late to buy bitcoin. i think is is the best time to do so. because i am sure that very soon bitcoin price is expected to increase too much therefore i think we should not lose the present opportunity and should buy purchase bitcoin.

Consider this as long term investment. So in 5-10 years price of single bitcoin is bound do go over current price maybe even sooner and this can be good opportunity for buying cuz in crypto world its never to late to buy.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2017 and WHY !!! on: July 27, 2017, 12:37:20 PM
Litecoin should do pretty well this year, it has already done so far.

SegWit is activated and Lightning is soon coming to LTC.

Charlie Lee is also fully dedicated to LTC now so expect to see good things coming.

I must say that i agree. Im buying little by little again LTC and now i will hold it for a while.
Lee made everything that he said possible and price went almost as predicted. Think that next step for LTC is crossing 3 figures, dont you agree on this.

Hope that this will come to this and that with Lightning will all go as planned like with segwith and that LTC will come to 100 at least. He deserved it.

716  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: July 27, 2017, 12:33:58 PM
To invest in gold is difficult because you are tied to the minimum size of the ingot. It is not less than one gram. Bitcoin allows you to buy any amount of coins and gradually accumulate. For this reason, investing in bitcoin is more attractive and thus its price is increasing faster.
The main reason in holding bitcoin and gold only at its price. Because the longer hold the bitcoin and gold, the price will rise. That's what a person who holds gold and bitcoin hold, especially if it is in a large amount.

Technically yes. But now better investment is bitcoin, ho one didnt expect that it will suppress gold in price.
My primary is bitcoin dont like gold at all i mean the yellow one at least (even my weeding ring in not from that yellow gold its from white one).
Really this is only my opinion and every one has to have his own. For me i will stick to bitcoin.
717  Other / Meta / Re: my account "blakegrr" has been locked for security purpose. on: July 27, 2017, 12:09:03 PM
If any of you participated in new alt ICO signature campaigns that were removed then you are banned from wearing signature and posting from 3- 30 days this was announced in few topic yesterday by mprep and even theymos made some replays regarding this that was not allowed and that some ICO didnt follow the rules.

So dont worry by 3 days account is unbanned and for 30 you wont wear signature
718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start investing in cryptocurrencies with 500$ ? on: July 26, 2017, 08:36:12 PM
Hi guys,

Everything is in the title. I have 500$ I want to invest in cryptocurrencies. How should I diversify my portfolio an WHY ?

I don't want too risky investments. I'm looking for stable coins with good returns. Real projects with cutting-edge technology. No scam.

Thank you in advance

I would suggest that you stick with Bitcoins and the major altcoins like Dash, Etherium, and Litecoin. Those will probably less risky choices.

You could diversify with 50% Bitcoins and 50% of one of those altcoins or a combination of the three. There are probably a few other altcoins that could be good as well.

I would also suggest that you wait for a drop in price so you can get the most for your money because right now the prices are pretty high.

Good point 50-50 is best possible solution for starters.
Maybe even 60-40 in favor of bitcoin, like he mentioned go for safe one maybe if you want to risk little go for some ICO then maybe go 40-40-20. Same amount of bitcoin and some alt and 20 will go for some ICO with this only you can possible lose is this 20 and you can gain 200 with this 20%. ICO can be very unpredictable.
719  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I do? on: July 26, 2017, 08:22:09 PM
You should leave you coins were there are as Notting serious will happen now. Bitcoin has it own way of fighting back it political enemies especially those that desire to split the network for their political gain. August 1 will come and go and we the bitcoin enthusiast will laugh last.
No coin has the potential to beat bitcoin in any way. The rivals are trying their best to create chaos among the bitcoin lovers but I am sure they will end up in nothing. All bitcoin lovers should simply avoid the terrible news regarding Segwit. Segwit is simply for the betterment of bitcoins’ future.

True to the point. Some have possibilities or should be call this potential to do it, but they wont achieve this.
Bitcoin is and always will be prime in every aspect of cryptocurrency no matter how potentially big alt comes near him.
It would take miracle for some coin to be better in any way from bitcoin.
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: July 26, 2017, 07:39:57 PM
I still often think about whether there really is an easy way to profit from gambling. Honestly, I've seen some ways, but in the end it all became a scam, and lead to losses. But there may be ways I have not learned about it.  Sad

Sorry but there is not. Gambling is very tricky thing. Even so called smart gambling or safe gambling. When you gamble you need to set up two things bank roll and how much you want to have at the end of each game. What type of game you want to play, research little about it. When you find what you want play. Most gambling games are really on luck rarely on strategy.

Every game and every sport (this mean on sportbetting sites) have good and bad sides of gambling. Tricky par is to not got addicted to it, most games you will win if you play with fun.
