781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit vs USAF -> Price on: July 11, 2017, 12:03:22 PM
I'm pretty confident we won't see 2 separate chains of bitcoin. So I've decided to just hold my holdings in a compatible wallet if things were to get ugly.

I also agree with you. This wont be the case. Then what would it be we would have 2 coins with 2 blockchain. NO. If everything went well with litecoin I dont see what would be worse to do with bitcoin. Im hopping to see same effect as in litecoin. Maybe im to optimistic but it was sad same for litecoin and he ended up much better.
782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: July 11, 2017, 11:56:39 AM
Both are risky but differ when it comes to the losses. Because when you are trading, you only lose if you sell the coin without profiting from them or you got scared when you bought the coin at a low price and the coin is constantly dumping and can't wait for the coin to pump and sell them then that is already a loss but you can still buy a new coin with a much low price and wait for it to pump to make profit while in gambling once you deposit a certain amount and when you loose everything in gambling, 99% are your chances that you can't win back the amount you lost.

Losing is less when you trade. No matter how bad you pick the investment you can always sell out and return partial part of the money. This is not the case in gambling you win or lose no middle in this. So from one point of view gambling is more risky but it sure is more profitable at the end if you win off course.
783  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: July 11, 2017, 10:12:44 AM
It better to have both. Remember all we that not everywhere still is accepted bitcoin or adopted. So for the time being cash is good to have. My investment is more less 50-50 in percentage. But for future saving or investing or even safe keeping bitcoin is better solution it can easily go up in price as well it can go down. But still is better option for me and believe for most of us here.
784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afraid of August One? on: July 10, 2017, 09:40:46 AM
I am not afraid. Because, I know that Bitcoin is Future. Although,  BTC dumped, but it's temporary not permanently. I hope BTC will pump again soon.

This dump can be panic sell from some that are afraid of what might come with 1st August. This may be good after all some correction and we can see price going up again, hopping to see hit over 3000 on this time to remain at that level after activation. Anyway this will turn out positive just need to be patient cuz this is very important for bitcoin.
785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: July 10, 2017, 09:38:09 AM
Because gambling is one way to satisfy human emotions or passions. Gambling is a very challenging activity for me. I prefer in gambling dice with a 0.01% chance target.

Challenging it is, maybe this is also one of the reason why we are being addicted on it, we are challenging with the house, which is wrong because we could never win against the house. The house was made to make huge bankroll everyday so that a certain gambling site won't ever be bankrupt to keep on running in the long term, and for the needs of the gambling site of course, the money is just keep on cycling.

In some betting games (no matter is it casino or sport match betting) you can win the house. Here is only one problem you need to follow whole day something that can be good for your winning. I try when football season is on (with all major leagues) to find game that have quote 2+. Then i search this game on different betting house with same game that have also 2+ (i mean on match quite). If i find this (always was able to find at least one), place 2 best in this system: team1-team2 under 2.5 goals quote 2.05, other same match but over 2.5 goals with same quote.

This system is only applied if this is for same match but on different betting sites. Hard this is to find, but if you do you will win for sure.
786  Economy / Marketplace / Re: how earn btc from online??? on: July 10, 2017, 06:46:53 AM
There are lots of things or ways to earn bitcoin online but as a newbie we do usually end up on faucets which im doing right now but later on while reading on this forum i do find new more ways on earning bitcoin without the need on sticking into faucets which i can say that im very thankful on this community just like investing on trading and some gambling site investments.

Faucets is easiest way to earn money and bitcoins online yes, but i don't think that it's really good way to earn. Work there is hard, long and boring, and you get only cents a day, in my opinion it is better to be active in this forum for few months and then join signature campaign, as this way you can be part of this forum and earn bitcoins at same time.
To be honest, the company's signature is practically the only easy way to earn a crypto currency. Of course there are others using attachments and other cranes, but this is generally the little things of life and earnings are estimated to be almost a few loaves of bread per day. Of course, the most urgent work and earnings of the crypto currency are trading on the stock exchange.
Of course you can earn and immediately spend crypto currency on your needs. But it seems to me that this is wasteful. Everyone knows what potential has a crypto currency, and therefore you need to use all of its qualities and also goes to yourself for good. The main thing is to have basic knowledge in order to manage all this correctly.

When you mentioned basic knowledge here is the maybe nice ponter for understanding some basics about bitcoin.

It nicely putted text with all information that everyone need for start of earning trading or investing in bitcoin.
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: July 10, 2017, 06:34:04 AM
Maybe one day wouldnt be an altcoin anymore , i am speaking about Tezos!

One day it wont be bitcoin to, think that with current rate bitcoin last bloc will be mined somewhere in next 130-140 years with this current rate and speed. If this happens think that it would be inevitable that most of the alt s would be lost or it would be abandoned. You made some point on this i used middle value for BTC of several text that i have google it. This dont need to be case that it will be like this at all.
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2017 and WHY !!! on: July 10, 2017, 06:14:34 AM
It seems that ETH and LTC could be good pick. LTC was always strong but this time it can be good investment in some point, my prediction for this coins are already good but will it go over 45 or 50 dollars per coin is still hard to predict seem to be that its on good range for now. ETH seem to have some stable price but think that it would be great to see ETH little higher maybe to cross this barrier of 0.1 BTC for 1 ETH. Think this could happen and to be honest im hopping for this.

ON some other coins hard to pick one that will maybe be big success for investment, BTC wont count this time.

791  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices may hit $1 billion - Fox Business Speculates on: July 08, 2017, 11:24:54 AM
We have upper limits but 1 Billion a coin is not one of them.
Unless we get some really nasty case of inflation in the future we should look at a lower target that said the market cap would be fairly high.

Even with some inflation this is impossible to happen. This would only made big collapse and dont think we could sell any coin at that price, so my thinking is that this will never happen.
Think that even 5 figures price is to some point impossible but still reachable to hit 1 billion is nothing more then some comedian funny line.
792  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I want to invest $200K to set up an exchange and I need your help on: July 08, 2017, 11:20:39 AM
1. I use less polo but more bittrex now, cuz it having some issues so for now i will stay away for some time
2. Trading most of the time, small time investing
3. transaction speed
4. This is more personal opinion if not this the if you can invest in some coin or build mining farm
5. This is more on which coin you think on mining
6. This can be bad idea cuz if you sending money from one to another then it will take days maybe weeks, many thing can happen in that time, but on btc base this is something completely different
793  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: July 08, 2017, 11:11:02 AM
In my opinion about this cashless society  means world  will have one monitoring person controler. If theres no more cash digital money will come out.And yes your right implants can be used for quick resultS to all global settlements. That in short we can have one currency, one technology that all nations will unite for a ONE WORLD GOVERMENT.

Agree. That is the downside of having a completely cashless society, and we won't be able to avoid this from happening in the future as banks and governments become more inclined in exploring the blockchain technology. Having a single global currency can be both good and bad, as it not only brings convenience, speed, and security, but it also gives full transparency to governments on every financial activity made on every region of the world.

On top of that, it would not only provide financial information of every person in the world, but also personal and medical information too living in a distributed inmutable ledger where records remain virtually forever. With the blockchain technology, all of this is possible, and if used in combination with AI and IoT, it will change our society in ways that we've never thought about before.

Only time will tell whenever this comes fast, or it will take many years to become a reality. Just my thoughts. Grin
If we are really evolving towards a fully cashless society, I wonder how the less fortunate people would cope with that.
I doubt that all homeless people would suddenly have bank accounts or the equivalent thing in the future, perhaps they'll resort to some sort of barter system or perhaps universal basic income becomes a thing too?

Good point this is one of the bad sides to fully integrate cashless society. There will be problem you point in maybe biggest one, how will they do it. Every system is not perfect but cashless society maybe primary goals could be to be perfect in some way. Also if this cashless society would be on internet payment or online, that would be even bigger problem cuz not all places in the world are cover will net. Still from this there are more problems then any good solution for this.
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Buying a rig Vs Building a rig on: July 07, 2017, 05:27:05 PM
This is something that may be hard decision but i prefer to go building cuz i now what i put i now it works. This is still opinion to debate but for sure it something that miner/individual need to make for himself. This is also the case if you want to buy used rig or to buy new one almost same decision to make hard in the end.
795  Economy / Speculation / Re: Last 4 months of bitcoin on: July 07, 2017, 05:22:57 PM
All people are hope SegWit success and can make the price rising up too. But I scared the market will go against our think, maybe SegWit failure and the price will fall down to 3 digit USD like end 2013 - begin 2014 happened Undecided

SegWit itself will definitely not disappoint. However, people are afraid that certain miners will follow their own route in an attempt to take control over what they think is theirs. If this becomes reality, and there is a chain split as result, we are likely going to see the price fall back a few steps, but eventually we'll overcome this without any problems. Look at it from this point -- if the miners that kept blocking SegWit for ages indeed end up supporting an altcoin, then we have less obstacles to worry about in case another enhancement needs to implemented. It might not look like so yet, but eventually we will look back happily.

Correct. This is perhaps good and may end like bad at the end. Im not hopping to see price fall on the other side I expect to see price go up. Maybe we wont see it at the start of it maybe it will have to pass some time maybe weeks or months but we will see huge change in bitcoin price. Im just hopping it will be very positive.
796  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: July 07, 2017, 05:13:39 PM
If Satoshi dumps we can see this prises for sure

Dream this price. This price will not happen any time and it wont be bolow in worst possible scenario below 1500 dollar per one bitcoin. We are in final preparation of segwith activation, if then and only then thing go wrong, that I hardy thing will do, can maybe expect to see 1500 as last price. Personally as many here I expect to see price goes over 3500 when activation is full so im hopping to buy it more even on this current price.
797  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: July 07, 2017, 05:06:39 PM
Cashless society is already here. Most people don't use cash as much as they did before internet boom. I wouldn't want complete cashless society, it gives more power to the bank and government and take it away from people. Do you really want government keeping tracks of everything you buy/sell/own and then sell your information to private corporation who'll abuse it? It's already happening
Yes it is already happening but not all over the world. Now all the developed countries are totally dependent on internet and hence become cashless societies. But still there are many people who are not aware of this advanced technology and cashless economy will take time to become popular all over the world.

True some countries have limit use of cash like Sweden, they most do plastic and they all pay with credit card. But for all to be cashless society it will be very hard to accomplish. This isnt something that can be done just with saying need a lot off preparations. For countries that depend on internet and cuz off that they become cashless societies its not that true at all. For some internet is course of business and making friend or some other not good thing, but for others it becoming more and more cashless. You can now pay anything with netbanking.

798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: July 06, 2017, 12:06:45 PM
Some call the the same cuz of risk but both have something that other dont. For some simple example or explanation both are risky bu profitable. In gambling you can win or lose no middle option. While in Trading you can pull out you initial investment if stock/crypto are going down by selling them and keeping most of the investment. You cant do this in gambling.
799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport is the easiest to wager/win on: July 06, 2017, 12:03:02 PM
Every sport can be in some point easy to predict. If you focus on one sport on certain group of sport then you can be good follow information on this sport and you can win. My pick are football/soccer, basketball and tennis. Each of this sport is unique but still can be good bargain to win. Foosball is what i made most bets but when i see opportunity for basketball or tennis I take it.
800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: July 06, 2017, 11:36:08 AM
I think real money would likely make crypto disappear 1st.

The reasoning behind this is, crypto may be more likely to be hoarded than fiat which could lead to crypto disappearing as its hoarded in greater quantities, while fiat is freely traded.

Eventually we will go to no money or just some sort of digital money, they will not be paper money. Think this as if we as society evolve trough history then money or should I say mean of paying has to evolve to. We might not witness this perhaps some of our kid or grandkids will, but this will happen eventually.
While there is no doubt that we are evolving to a society that issues its payment electronically, just look at bitcoin, it is impossible to completely erase cash since you still need the poorest part of the population to be able to engage in economic activities like buying and selling their products.

I know that there are poorest part of every society and even whole countries, this is something that will happen one day. Probably we wont see this but we made most of our progress with every day electronic payment that are seen on account i momentary.

Still for this to be real we will take lot of work and preparation and adjustment in monetary system to be able to follow everything. This is process that will need lot of time to be fully integrated.
