581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: August 31, 2017, 12:12:07 PM
Gambling addition is something that effect some percentage of world population (didnt want to google it but i believe that its a small number 2 digits for sure), but it could be said that some individuals seek treatment for their problem in life. No wonder that gambling problem is urge for some gamblers to continuously create  negative consequences for themselves and on top of that some have no desire to stop.
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2017 and WHY !!! on: August 31, 2017, 11:32:02 AM
Many coin are here with nice predictions and speculations, we have XMR, ETH, LSK, KMD ......

OP you should consider having maybe pool added with some coin that are here the most and maybe we could see good speculations or predictions on some alt in this year. Most of users here will be pleased to see this.

I agree with Azguard, this should be well coordinated, not that any jack will just come and drop name of the coins they are bagholding to dump on the market
Good choice, I'd add BTC (yeah, not an altcoin actually), Byteball, Augur, Litecoin and STRAT and maybe even ZCL and Peerplays (coming May).

Here are my guesses for 2017 in order of (stability)*(possible-value-increase):

01. BTCitcoin BTC
02. Monero XMR
03. Peerplay PPY
04. Ethereum ETH
05. Komodo KMD
06. Lisk LSK
07. Byteball GByte
08. Stratis STRAT
09. Litecoin LTC
10. Augur REP
11. ZCash Classic ZCL[/b]

Mark my words, guys. Or don't. :p
So anyone remember my post from MARCH?
Well, I believe my predictions were pretty spot on, except maybe for ZCL which I would now replace with the ZenCash fork..
Oh and peerplays is still on the list, great things to come imo. Most other coins have increased significantly so far. Except for Komodo, which could make an other 5x by the end of 2017, I don't expect any wonders from the other crypto-assets I mentioned above in the near future. Maybe an other double for XMR and Byteball.

Anyway, here are some more interesting projects:

Ethereum Classic ETC
Signatum SIGT
ZenCash ZEN
Tezos XTZ (not on markets yet)
Exscudo EON (not on markets yet)

Not investment advice, just my biased view on the current market.

Your altcoins are interesting. I love Zencash, very promising!

But you forget Zcoin, and for me it's a big mistake. Wink
Will take a closer look at zcoin. I just like the Masternode+PoW model of ZEN.

Some more intereting projects, that might spike at the end of 2017+:
- Bowhead Health AHT
- Opus OPT
- Aidos Kuneen ADK

Zcoin is one of the best anonymous technology.

This is not a Zcash clone, they are based on the zerocoin protocol, not zeroknowledge. A very professional team and who have big support from investors such as Roger Ver. He works to integrate their technology on Ethereum with Vitalik.

And he develops a mining algorithm superior to that of Zcash.

Finally they will implement the masternodes before the end of the year.

This is the project that has the most potential, just crazy!

Remember those words!

This is quite possible. Think this will be like ETH when it was introduced maybe even bigger boom. On price speculation nothing can be said for sure cuz most new coin have over rated price at start, but think that this project will be major success at the end.
583  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: August 31, 2017, 11:27:51 AM
Have you ever wondered how would the world's economy be like in the future as a cashless society?

Perhaps, with the increased traction of blockchain acceptance nowadays, could lead to the creation of digital fiat currencies powered by blockchains that are managed by governments themselves. With this in mind, there would be no need for physical cash, as digital fiat currencies would provide many advantages such as quick settlement, global payments, full transparency, implants use on citizens to make payments, and more.

If this becomes a reality, which I'm sure that it will, it would radically transform our lives for the better and reduce criminal activity as a result of the full transparency and auditability that a digital fiat currency would have thanks to the power of the blockchain technology.

Also, it makes me wonder if cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin would exist by that time, or will they co-exist with digital fiat currencies.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this.  Wink

Cashless society is the future but not going to happen anytime soon. The society will have to go through a long reform process and the main bottleneck to that process is the politicians. They would not want anything that will make their property and cash visible to the public. They will prefer cash hordes instead of depositing it in to their bank account.

However, if the blockchain technology gets adopted by the government and creates a public ledger, it will go against the corrupt groups and have their black money reveled. It's easier said than done.
I think we already are. When we hear the word "Cashless" I assume that we are thinking about Bitcoin payments only. But credit cards, debit cards, and Paypal are all considered cashless payments in our day long before Bitcoin was even created. I really think that we are living in a cashless society right now but not all of us prefer to use cards and internet due to many reasons.

If we look at that then this can be said that we are in cashless society in any point taken. True that before bitcoin we have used all sort of plactic payment or some other (paypal for example). How ever this is something hard to compare. There are some that cannot be used in some part this is for all mentioned above, some cant use paypal other banned bitcoin, this is process that will be in motion for long time.

For word cashless dont need to be just that it can be good if someday this becomes reality.
584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Cryptocurrency world on: August 31, 2017, 11:14:50 AM
Crypto world is really fun and freedom. All we need is freedom and can't control by anyone. Blockchain is really awesome tech in 21 century. The gov will hate crypto world but it's will be still alive by us

Government are trying to create there own blockchain but seem like they wont succeed with this any time soon. They want to control as much as possible but crypto made point that everything is anonymous. Blockchain is something that they didnt anticipated to be even possible now when they see that thing are little out of them to control they are trying to find any way to gain some control.
585  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: August 30, 2017, 12:04:19 PM
With all the advancements of the wirldcand technology I'm convinced we are going to have a cashless society somehow one day but as to the kind of technology and which era it will happen nobody can tell .

Yes maybe not in our lifetime  but sure will be in cashless society in future. Technology progress very fast now with each passing day we have some new innovation in any field that can bring cashless society to be reality not just talks or concept at any point.
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Bitcoin Cash? on: August 30, 2017, 12:00:39 PM
I think Bitcoin cash has a lot of potential and it is usually regarded as the biggest competitor of Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin cash will surely cross the 1500$ mark by next year. It will show amazing growth in future.

Some might consider it as bitcoin competitor, but I don't think it will surpass bitcoin. It's hard to conclude that bitcoin cash has already been completely dumped just by looking at it in just short-time scale. A lot of altcoins and even bitcoin even experience fall and sometimes recover. It's better to wait and see if it will still recover, bitcoin cash also has a potential same as bitcoin.

Dont think it will be like that, at the end its just another altcoin on market no matter now he is or what he will offers to us.
Altcoin simple as is dont stand a change against bitcoin, they can come close but still this will not change the fact that bitcoin is prime and will remain prime.
BCC will just be active until this year end dont believe that things will change after that.

587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: August 30, 2017, 11:55:03 AM
Just curious since the last discussion I had was about gambling vs trading. I know trading can seem to be a bit of a gamble as well, but I see it a little bit like poker. It's a combination of math and psychology. Maybe not the same ratio though, just generalizing  Tongue
I will remain with the both of these ways because both of these two are important in our life . Because here the trading is a work of patience Do work with your money to make daily earnings in better amount , In the same way we need to make enjoy with our money because , why we are making money ? Thant is only for enjoy and here in my opinion gambling is a better thing to enjoy because here we have full risk to loss our bet but still we have the same and equal chances to make earnings , so with the enjoy we can make earnings also.
Here personally i am doing trading in bulk but also doing gambling and most of the times i am making profit because i am using some stretagy to increase my wining chances in the betting/gambling .
Most probably i make gambling for the sports games because there is no limit for a perfect gamblers to make gambling at every turn of the game that are happening in our practical life and most of them are not fixed ,like games in casino .

Best is to be in both. Me prefer gambling (sport gambling) cuz im little better in that field, trading go but little less mainly looking for opportunities for some income and try to remain in main coin for some investment.

Right about strategy in both things. Every working strategy is good if the income is good.
588  Economy / Economics / Re: stable currency on: August 30, 2017, 11:50:31 AM
It will never be as stable as gold and others because its characteristics are different from others, bitcoin price is volatile so the price will never become stable even in the future. If you are talking about  reliable in terms of stability then i think bitcoin is reliable enough by observing its price even after hard fork.
Yes bitcoin is a digital currency, so it will never stable. And suppose if it is stable then there is no use for traders. And who are invested big amount on this Bitcoin they will not get any profit. So people will not let this currency to become stable. Even I also don't like the stable price for this Bitcoin. If it is stable, then there is no use to wait for a long time to make a profit.

From one angle this is true, but look at the price at the moment if we are looking at the long term stable price then simple and clean answer is NO, bitcoin will never be stable in this long run as gold. But for short term we saw after every major change or movement in market that after that we see price stable in period between changes.

So we could say that in some point bitcoin is stable.
Yeah you were right, if only bitcoin has a fixed value in the market then it could happen as soon as possible, but if that would also happen it would lost its volatiliy and that trait is one  reason why people find it more interesting. I guess it would really not happening and also one more thing it could also lost the interest of all people who have invested their money in bitcoin. Just imagine it, it really is horrible thing to happen.

This is not good for bitcoin to have fixed value. Then in this situation price will go down and value of bitcoin will to very small and this is not good for this currency or any other crypto to be fixed price. Then it not point in investing at all.
589  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: August 29, 2017, 12:11:38 PM
If in your country hard to find a job then you should not abandon it. Because with bitcoin, You can earn at any time and any where. However, If in your country there is a lot of work for you to choose from, you can temporarily abandon it to more interested to Bitcoin.
In my country very difficult to get a job so I have to work 8 hours 1 day, 8 hours for Bitcoin and i have 8 hours for rest.

As much as possible,if still can manage to do both, better do both. Its good to have stablesalary that can sustain our needs and btc for our savings. When already have enough crypto save then that's the time maybe too settle and quit work.

This is true. If you have possibilities and can manage to work both then do it like mentioned in so many post here. If you dont have job or have part time this can good opportunity to work for bitcoin or some other coin that is offered as payment. Sometimes these coin can make you bigger profit then bitcoin.
590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 29, 2017, 09:16:55 AM
There is a big rumor that Williams wants Fernando Alonso for the next season. Lance Stroll need an old-timer alongside to get better. But will be Williams better team for Alonso than McLaren? William is weaker and weaker now. Every team has some improvements, but it seems like in Williams they are doing something wrong.

Alonso will definitely leave McLaren for sure. Team that are rumored to be for him besides Wiliams are Reno and Mercedes. Dont know how he will be in Mercedes cuz he left McLaren last time due to fight with Lewis. This one is hard to back up, for other teams think that its very possible reason they have better engine and the car from current McLaren one. This is hard for Alonso seeing him so only cuz power unit when down twice in last two races, must say this is frustrating to the rooftop.

Still he announced that he will say after next race what he will do will he stay in Formula 1 or leave. It would be shame to see him leave but think he is also considering to go in INDY championship cuz he almost won INDY 500 he lead most of the race but engine blow up.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: August 29, 2017, 09:12:10 AM
both can be really profitable but also can make you lose a lot, gambling will ruin you faster tho
Only one of them is profitable not both, As what you had mentioned gambling can make you lose a lot or worst it can wreck you totally.
So better be caution too when you do trade too.

Both can make profit if you play smart or you are smart. Trading can be very profitable in any possible way also fear of lost is here less instead of gambling. Gambling on other hand is most of the time win-lose situation in any way looked. Main difference is how much you can win or lose in trade or gambling but technically they are consider almost as same thing.

You can tell that they are the same with gambling but only to those games who do need analysis and experience to play but those are just selected and not applicable on all gambling games since they do have different types of gambling games which cant really be compared on doing trading. Yes you can make money if you are smart together with experience.

Yes this is true, the more experience person have (no matter if he is trader or gambler) he will have more chances off success at the end, no matter if he trades or gamble. Bottom line is that at the end it all end up with how much experience you have or how much did you research matter you want to trade or gamble.

593  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will bitcoin do in market crash 3.0? on: August 29, 2017, 08:55:00 AM
By first look at the image its indicates that crash will definitely come, however question is what will be effected by this crash. Will only fiat suffer or it will go global and effect everything from gold to oil. This happened in the past and for that reason people are in dilemma what to do and in what to invest. Will this influence bitcoin its for me hard topic to say. For my perspective think that it wont be effect at least not that much ok it might go down but bottom line for support think it will be around 3000-3200 $ per bitcoin.

So if crash comes price might go to this line.
594  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is money, everything else is credit. on: August 28, 2017, 10:11:38 AM
Bitcoin isn’t money as par real cash, bitcoin is just like a store of value which you can exchange for money, though some people have started accepting it as a form of money which automatically turns it to me, its just like shares which you buy with money and also sell for money

Do you consider bitcoin as stocks, then its ok to say this. You store them and collected them and then when time is right you sell.
Bitcoin is something far more then money some say its asset, other gold of new age, many names.

Best part is that anyone can use it no matter how low they have knowledge about bitcoin.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2017 and WHY !!! on: August 28, 2017, 08:39:45 AM
Many pick for this year to be top altcoin from some old one to never ones. But seem all agree that Wawes litecoin ripple and ETH are prime pick for this year.
Earn one mentioned has something unique to offers and this will be good to see now long will they last or try to last. Think that next major movement in price will be in November after Hard fork and then we will see which coin has or will have potential to be good and promising one in altcoins.

597  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: August 26, 2017, 07:56:30 AM
Lets just put it like this.

This question is now interesting cuz price of bitcoin is big and many have more income from bitcoin (mean on signature and social media campaigns) and for this reason they think that its better to quit day job and go full on bitcoin. This is temporally, similar happen in 2013 with first price boost, this dont mean to quit day job, all consider bitcoin as additional income or trust saving fund for latter.

598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 26, 2017, 07:51:39 AM
This weekend will be interesting in both F1 and MotoGP. Formula might be just another race with Mercedes and Ferrari battle for pole and win, dont think that Red Bull can made something here they might fight for third place at the end. In motoGP it will be very interesting cuz Marquez crashed and broke main bike, but still with this he was good expect to see possible rain in both races, but most interesting will be in Spa if there is rain or comes to be wet track before start.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: August 26, 2017, 07:47:32 AM

Of course, Litecoin lacks real development and innovation, but as long as it remains a usable and actively traded cryptocurrency, it will remain on the market for many years to come. One thing for sure is that Litecoin has a well unified community, unlike Bitcoin, pushing upgrades at a faster rate, allowing it to scale smoothly without any forthcoming issues.

No Litecoin does not lack real development and innovation
?Segwit, Litening network before Bitcoin?
I think Charlie Lee and the Dev Team are very proactive
and the recent news that Litecoin is adopting Atomic Swaps
http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/08/24/new-lnd-client-brings-atomic-swaps-bitcoin-litecoin-one-step-closer/

This is true. In past year maybe more they never give any information they made big progress in development. We dont know if they did or didnt developed segwit at that time. We all know only that they will activate it and what is that. We might see in next year or so LTC returning to his right place to be silver digital coin. This time they have some fighting to but at the end it will be worth it.
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: August 26, 2017, 07:42:13 AM
i think some altcoins have future, some of them have a restrict use o this may be good, like saving money for something.

Many altcoin have future, many are dead before even started and so many are ICO scams with so many money invested that they end up with total disaster at the end. So my favorites are good and stable ones and are here for some time. Those coin dont need to valued much in market but there are here cuz they have something that will bring users to this coin. We have so many coin but can we roughly say that crypto community can be good with maybe 20-30 alts. I say it can.
