Is there any way to monitor the health of Nxt's network? I'm curious how we're doing against the attack.
When we have Transparent Mining on we can always see who is forging and who is not (coz of being on other branch, for example). CFB, how long does it take for a drifting node coming to the main branch ? Could it drift forever ? |

So... how many still feel that the attackers won?  Be proud people!  Well, they didn't really attack yet, it was just reconnaissance mission on their part. Unless we get an army of public nodes running (thousands upon thousands) they'll bomb us into stone age next time  I have not set up any public nodes beside my local computers yet. But I am going to. What are the most secure VPS ? I don't care about price. A couple of VPS has been suggested but I think we also need to diversify VPS hosting. The more diversified the merrier. |

Since the difficulty suddenly lowerer, I suspect that the blockchain got split.

It's not even officially released & open sourced yet and you expect it to be fully functional without issues? With people ready to throw whole botnets at it.  It has been released since the 25th of November - that's what everyone keeps saying or are they all wrong? I expect it should at least be able to build a block chain - and certainly the version that I am running (and many others from the other posts in this thread) cannot as it gets *stuck*. I used to the back-up blockchain I built on 22 and it catches with the current one fine. No need to download files from Cfb. I am at 23009 block with 2700% difficulty now. Is Blockchain explorer off ? stops at 22929 ? |
