Miners, obviously.

yea, maybe.
So they think that NXT is kind of against BTC & al.
Isn't the case more like so that all cryptocurrencies are on the same side and USD, euros, pounds, etc. are on the other side?

Usually it is a good thing to have a new member or competitor in the area, which is new for customers. That increases the total volume of the area and also the customers will have more alternatives. That "concept" is from more common products like cars, consumer electronics, ... why couldn't that work with currencies, too.

Miners cannot mine NXT. Their investment in asic miner and GPU cards are useless with POS systems. Asic miners cannot mine NXT so they become hate generators. Very understandable here because for some mining and mining industry is where their professional jobs are.

I don't know how long has you been involved with bitcoin but the sooner you understand that bitcoin and decentralized network is not compatible with current law framework the better you understand why things are the way they are.

Take the red pill and be free or go back to your current comfortable existence of investing in sp500

there is no issue with the fund raise. People are free to spend their money as they choose

also who said it occurs in us jurisdiction.

Not true, there are laws regarding transparency and compliance when people are trying to raise millions of dollars from strangers...in order to prevent fraud.  There will be similar laws in most countries and Canada if Im not mistaken is much tougher than US when it comes to crowdfundraising.

And why, who cares what jurisdiction they are in, if they are asking for 36 million from total strangers before they even open for business they should spend a few hundred thousand to provide assurances that they are in legal rights in each country they do business with and file all the necessary regulatory documents.  If they are not hiding anything or worried why would they care what jurisdiction they are in?

The trolls are angry hahaha. Now I am sure we are really onto something. Continue to waste your times. We are NO ENVY and NO HATE.

You are scammers, and yes, you are onto something = a variation on a scams already seen around here. It will be remembered.

Reputable members of this board knows my real names, Facebook, Skype. I have millions of NXT and also BTC to fund any project I want to do. So  go hunting scammers somewhere else since you waste your time here.

That is not to count my other my team members  like opticalcarrier, jaguar, theis. All seasoned veterans in this board. You are just a stupid troll who did not do research.

I would like to see more promotional effort and now promotional effort is worth 80NXT or 0.008BTC.

Gogo, put even more money into pocket of this guy. The more of you who will end up scammed the better! Hahha scam of the month!

Was just wondering, is the price bump effective already? I know you said 50 pages.... but there is a lot of junk and multiple posts by the same people that just bumps the price up... are you doing 50 pages or 50 pages of interested investors?(1000 post/people)

This is a scam, you idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey I am interested, I just gotta figure out how to work my Nxt account and I can send a bit later.

We are doing by pages. 10 pages = 200 posts but I target around 150 stakeholders because I have to go around banter and answer questions. Yeah these spammers take up spaces of stakeholders but since this thread is not moderated, I cannot do anything about it. Since the thread is nicely going, I am hesitated to move it; cos we may lose luck and momentum.

So I understand you but check the stakeholder list and you will see the number of stakeholders page by page.

Who created the client? Is it a simple one-click-client? (Has not done so until now Nxt)
I would give me a donation of any wishes that participates in the Stake.
At least 0.5 BTC advertising / internet / TV and blog creator in order to achieve attention.
First, the client (user-friendly) and then a lot of advertising (which is expensive) because we need to keep everyone together and sometimes go deeper into the pocket.

It is not enough just to get shares. If we want to be successful everyone needs to invest.
The one in development, it may not have to pay for it (like me)!

We will be behind NXT technical development several months, that's for sure. So be patient. But it is nicely moving forward so join in. I don't think Mastercoin had anything much when they raised 4000 BTC in August last year neither and they do not even have much now so - be easy on NEM and its developers.

We have development stakes (check the stakeholder list, page 3) for developers and helpers of NEM. The terms for bounties are also clear so join in and help if you can. But
we don't require anyone to work their butt off  Grin

Also, one NEM stake will give you at least 1 million NEM; talk in this way may make some of you feel better. 1 million NXT is a lot of Money and 1 million NEM could also be a lot of money.

Just edited my post on page 34, sent 0.002 BTC instead because DGEX withdrawals are taking forever.

@mailliam I will update the stakeholder list.

Hey that's the cut off. We officially moved to page 51 with a a jump in fee. I would like to see more promotional effort and now promotional effort is worth 80NXT or 0.008BTC.
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NEM : Descendant of NXT - 4 billion coins - Equal Shares for ALL on: January 25, 2014, 05:05:35 PM
Completely Fair Distribution - Equal Shares for ALL

How come it is fair when some people got their share of coins for free but others have to pay more and more for the same? It is a scam!

Please no envy, no hate and be considerate to others.

Really? I am supposed to be considerate to others yet you are cashing on everyone who joined a bit late AND on "development" coins?
Who the fuck are you anyway? Can you "developers" code anything? I think not, you are waiting for NXT 0.6 to be released and then you
will make your own genesis block and do nothing but copy / paste what NXT developers are doing. Pretty much anyone around here can
do the same and as soon as someone who is greedy less than you puts out a clone "your" coin is about to be abandoned.

You are not after anything but making money off retards. Cool story on starting post (copy / paste much from NXT, I see) but fuck off!

The more haters the stronger NEM is going because we are no envy no hate movement. Thank you.

I've learned a lot and hope this might be useful for others.  I'm happy to look into anything that might be of interest to anyone.

Awesome!

This is very serious attempt that I not yet have time to read. Looks really cool though.

NXT on SHARK  TANK  !!!
1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 25, 2014, 02:52:18 PM
Asset exchanges requires huge volume transactions. Think about hundred of assets trading simultaneously. Mastercoin, Counterparty protocol won't work because they are based on Bitcoin infrastructure. So it is not like all 2nd gen" crypto-currencies can do colored coins and asset exchanges. It is like Telsar building  electric- cars but without any electric charging station. No one will use it.

An asset exchange working smoothly is not icing on the cake at all. I would say it is THE feature that makes a crypto network revolutionary. I see only NXT can reach that potential thanks to 1000+TPS. So everything is related.

I think the message of Nxt needs to be focused on one thing and that is Transparent Forging and how that will enable Nxt to handle 1000+ TPS.

Nothing else matters (all the other "2nd gen" crypto-currencies can do most of the other stuff like "colored coins").

Bitcoin can only currently handle 7 TPS and even with lifting limits like the 1MB block size it would still have troubles handling much more than 70 TPS.

If Nxt provides a payment system that can "truly compete" with Visa, etc. then that will be the *only thing that matters* (all the rest is just "icing on the cake").

1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEM] NEM -New Economy Movement - No Envy Movement - Updates+Discussion thread on: January 25, 2014, 02:32:57 PM
How is progress going with the code and what is the expected ETA for the genesis block and launching the network?

As far as I understand, opticalcarrier, Jaguar and Thies are exploring options. So no codes yet except the setting up of NEM github. Cloning is easy, it is far more important to consider nodes infrastructure and added features. It is expected for opticalcarrier, Jaguar and Thies to answer technical questions not me. But be patient and lower expectation. They will let us know when something ready.
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEM] NEM -New Economy Movement - No Envy Movement - Updates+Discussion thread on: January 25, 2014, 02:10:16 PM
even if you moved it, spam would find its way, and you would add extra work for the mods, pointless imo because haters will hate.
Maybe move the discussion thread there, now that it is still early?

To moderate registration thread because spammers may take up spaces for people registering. At this discussion thread, why should we care about spammers ? They just waste time. I will see if the spamming issue in registration thread needs to be countered.

Also please read though the front/ registration page and suggest to me what should be changed; grammatical errors etc.  We need it to look perfect before the media campaign. EvilDave did proofreading once but I want more checking. Thanks.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEM] NEM -New Economy Movement - No Envy Movement - Updates+Discussion thread on: January 25, 2014, 02:01:28 PM
What is going on with NEM?  How's coding going?  When will the genesis block be?

Share distribution should start shortly after the fund raising is over. I am thinking of moving the registration/ main page to a moderated thread to avoid spamming, but it may lose some momentum. So what do you think ?

Love it love love it. Thanks a lot salsacz. You are in.

thanks,
since I cannot afford to send Nxt, here is a meme:
cut for spacesaving...God I LOL'd. EvilDave

salsacz:
U r a genius. Thats all I can say.......I can't wait to show this to my good friend(s) FrictionlessCoin.

@siegtal81: Yes, people probably have posted multiple accounts to get multiple shares. But they have also sent multiple donations, so what can u do? Utopianfuture did write about it on the frontpage, as I remember.

That's true. There is no reliable way to know a new account is from a completely new person, new to crypto, who is interested or it is a second or third accounts of a seasonal user. I am especially interested in drawing the former group of people. We need to draw more new people to crypto and it is a disaster not to let these people get in when they are finally show an interest.
And as EvilDave said they all send in donation for development fund. So why not ?

Why not? because those who are ethical are signing up once.
So why should an unethical person stand to gain, 5x, 10x, 20x more than others?
One could posit that you don't care because even those that sign up twice (or ten times) are paying you up front.

The fairest method would be to exclude all accounts made after jan 11th. That is one week before your ANN. if an account is legit the chances are it would have been made more than a week or two ago.

By excluding those created after a certain point you are excluding a very small percent of legitimate accounts created after that date while excluding the majority of fake accounts, and keeping true to your word of a fair system.

Also, at this point, how do you honestly plan to hand out NEM to this many people? are you going to PM them one by one and ask them for wallet addresses?

Sorry to sound critical, but these issues should be addressed.

Please read though all the available information before commenting. I specially want completely new people to join it. Also don't post your opinion here; post it in the running discussion thread here  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=426303.0

@McDoxy 10 pages = 200 posts; I plan for some banters like this going so 150 accounts before fee jumping is okie. A few more or less accounts every 10 pages do not matter that much, imho. But if you want to further discuss this, go to the discussion thread.
