Hi all - here come some answers:
- development stakes will be earmarked for contributions to NEM development following development milestones.
- there will be time limit- it will be clearer abit later
- Ethereum is a completely different animal- a gigantic monster while NEM is just a small litter humble puppy. But we will see.
- Stake holder list is almost done. Everyone can use that to check their space. Stay tuned for a very important update later today or early tomorrow at the latest.
and a quote
- "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win." - Mahatma Gandhi

Go through the thread to make stake holder list. Love this attempt. Thank you, casperjv.

Bingo. A writer from Bloomberg wants to talk about Nxt (along with Peercoin). Constant emails, they eventually pay off.
You are a treasure of PR and community building effort.

It is interesting all are talking about how much each one will get. How to secure their stake on the genesis block.
BUT
Why don't start with discussions on features that differentiate NEM from NXT ... What makes it unique and outstanding...
Isn't that crucial to lift off and keep flying with NEM?
Just some thoughts..sorry if I bothered you...
Hi Thies1965. Love your attitude. Pm you.

@utopian hw do u intend to distribute the NEM's among the early initial stakeholders? Could investors buy more NEM's later to increase their stakeholding? Btw, lookin 4wrd 2 NEM. Completely Fair Distribution - Equal Shares for ALL -- that's our motto. Since NEM is proof of stake coin, all NEM will be available at genesis block and will be shared equally to all stake holders. After that market will decide the price of NEM. Read earlier posts to see my thoughts on investor issue. The goal is Equal Shares for ALL (accounts). Will that include you? I think it's fair that even the founder of the coin get an equal amount as everyone else. Including me. I have 1 regular account stake. But there will be 5% NEM developement stake. Stay tuned.

Can anyone remember how much Satoshi paid Kasperski?
I certainly doubt he published "out of the goodness of his heart" though. Let's hire Kasperski. Does anyone have an objection ?

how many people need for start NEM? and how investors get their NEM?
I am looking roughly at 3000-4000 stake holders for 4 billion NEM. I have a plan for you to get your stake via your user account. You would need to access the user account you used to reserve a spot and send a PM. Details will be announced in a due course.

OK, I can't keep up responding to all of you jumping at me like this.
I'm not jumping at you. I respect your position. I just disagree and want to explain why. I understand the worries, but don't think it will be that much of an issue. I also respect you for voicing your opinion! Agreed - just understand that this is how all "audit" companies work - they are "paid" to do "audits" and they are paid by the very companies they are auditing. Well I think NxtChg has a point in an idealistic sense. Remember how Moody rated all these mortgage back securities (MBS), credit default swap (CDS) in 2006-2007. Hopefully, at least some of you understand my references. Unfortunately that is how it generally works in independent rating and researches today.

I dont think you understand the meaning of the term "RESPECTED academic". I capitalized that important word there to stress the emphasis on that word for you.
Oh no, I understand it. Part of RESPECT is not taking money from people, whose work you are reviewing. Or maybe it's just my right-and-wrong model is outdated, judging by the number of people here, who think it's totally Ok. And if you plan him to go through source, then shouldn't you just hire a company to do your security audit, not an academic? Hiring a reputable security company to audit the codes is not bad idea. Essentially it is the same idea so maybe it is worthwhile to explore this venue.

But "peer review" and "research" are not the same thing and I think you're a little confused. Or maybe you feed your family with air and sunshine?
You all should agree among yourselves first, what is it exactly you are paying for. As I understand it's neither research, nor peer review. And you can juggle words however you like, it doesn't make it less wrong. Academics/ researchers at the top echelon won't be bought by 10-20k $ ; if they are bought one and produce false results; some peers could find out and they would be discredited very soon. If you want academics/ researchers at the top echelon risk losing their integrity and reputation, you would probably have to pay a lot more than that. Paying standard rates for a top-rated researcher working on a problem you are giving is a normal practice. I used to work for a top rate Economic-Political Institute so I know pretty well how researches are funded. While research works on paid assignment basis are often less rigorous than peer-reviewed articles, they are still of high quality and no one dare to intentionally make up a false mathematical or econometric result ever. That's being said 16K$ perhaps too much if it only take 2-3 days to work it out our request. We should go by standard labor rates for these reviewing works.

Interested: sent 101 Nxt & 0.002 BTC
Nxt tx ID # 4069476776916733857
Sending more than what is requested 20nxt or .002btc doesn't get you anything more than sending 20nxt or .002 btc worth. So consider the extra a donation unless utopian changes his mind. Greetings, reasoning behind sending 100:NXT is I used bter.com & the minimum amount to send is 100. The other 80 is a generous gift/donation Also didnt want to waste time transferring to different wallets with it being a time sensitive opportunity Hi don't worry, the fund raising would go on for at least one week or more. But thanks for the donation. Every bit of things helps
