It works fine for a small amount of buying less than 10000. It is just an individual effort by a NXT supporter but he is fine gent.

Bug report:

I have a bug when sending out money, twice in a row. The transactions still went though but the server stopped working and the send money command never moved to "money is sent" stage.

What was the error message in the console?

I already restarted the client. Sorry to ask it again but How to record a log in Window ?

Actually has been done 15 times and still no black hole has opened...

Btw, Nxt has some kind of the event horizon. It's determined by the rate of new transactions. At some rate a person who is trying to catch recent blocks will be downloading them at the same speed as new blocks r being forged.

Ok... I am officially a NXTaholic... and about to ask Come-from-Beyond if he has a sister!   Cheesy

I mean... who wouldn't want this guy for his brother-in-law?!?!?   Wink

Her sister is probably 40 year old but she might suit you fine  Grin

最最亲爱的JR:
     你是要向你的妻子展示你所从事的不是游戏,是真金白银。另外你没钱交税了。。balabala
      Grin Grin Grin
    机不可失,时不再来哦,0.1不卖,就是0.05了哦。
     不卖的话没钱交税怎么办啊?不卖的话让老婆罚跪搓板了怎么办啊?不卖的话怎么和老婆开着法拉利周末去度假啊?
      Grin Grin Grin

賣出賣出賣出。JR會賣,直到他的妻子有100萬美元購買路易vutton手袋。無論價格,請等待=0.01,因為他的妻子將迫使他這樣做。 Grin Grin Grin

If there are some accounts with substancial amounts of NXT which are nobody's property and have weaker passwords than maybe we could create special thread to organise group cracking.

I'm sure a lot of people would like to use script/program to make such group brute force treasure hunting Smiley
It could be constructed in similar way as altcoins pool mining with system of distribution f.e. lucky one would get half of found NXTs and the rest of could get proportional part of other half. Also it could be a simple solo treasure hunting.

This would be great for increasing NXT community and would be simply fun. In future because of growing amounts of NXT's lost in void it would become even more successful. What do you think about it?

I would love to have a group like this exist. It would really show how difficult (or easy Smiley) it is to crack a NXT account.

I would gladly raise a funding for a project like this even just for research purpose.

We don't need BCNext anymore. He kickstarted the snowball with name "Nxt", the rest is our work.

very hard with no leader the snowball can fall from a cliff in a split second

I hope he is not stopping with nxt

I think he has still been rolling out the core codes. There are still many works to be done until his initial promises are fulfilled.

I am going to sell 1M of my Nxts @0.00007 (I do not sell in small parts)
Any big invester interested can pm me to discuss it further!
The reason is to buy a new car Smiley
Good day.

Keep riding your bike for a year and you can buy 10 cars for that amount  Smiley
Yes you are right, just the new car luxury hypnotized me for a while!
Everyone can become a child at any age. Here to decline my previous post 1M offer Cheesy

It is just a matter of risk versus reward. NXT could go to the moon or it could go to zero. I guess if it goes to the moon you still have a dozen of millions to be rich from.
1610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Trading Thread for Nxt :: Descendant of Bitcoin on: January 08, 2014, 09:36:27 PM
Looking to buy NXT at 0.00004 - 0.000045 (depending the market price at the time). About 200-300 K maybe more if the price is flexible.
1611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nxt source code flaw reports on: January 08, 2014, 09:23:00 PM
Huh
I have a question regarding referencedTransactions. ReferencedTransactions are used so that a transaction gets only confirmed when the other transaction is already confirmed.

Okay, lets say I am creating a transaction T2 which has T1 as referencedTransaction. T1 is in the latest block, so T2 gets confirmed in the next block. What if the block in which T1 is in a fork chain and gets orphaned later? T1 gets added to the unconfirmedTransaction list. Now it could be that the deadline is expired and the transaction gets lost. T2 is in the main chain and is confirmed. So the referencedTransaction scheme does not work in that case?

If the block with T1 is orphaned then the block with T2 is orphaned too.

FYI, this is actually how Satoshi Dice sends semi-instant payouts.  They include your payment as part of the reward-- if you try to double-spend, their transaction back to you is invalidated, when your transaction is invalidated.  Likewised, if your TX ends up in an orphaned block, their payment will subsequently be part of an orphaned chain.

So... semi-instant transactions are possible under certain circumstances.

Actually, one of my small "test the waters using NXT in a service"-projects is using that form for instant payments... works like a charm so far Smiley

Me too www.nxtdice.com  Grin
At first we waited for one confirmation, before the dice gets rolled, now we use referencedTransactions for that. I love NXT!  Smiley

Want to play to support the game but saw nothing in the link ?

1613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [IPO-ANN][NEON] :: Neon :: The Most Advanced Second Generation Currency on: January 08, 2014, 06:42:53 PM
What are the chances that NEONs is the only scammer in this thread, acting all alone?
Now who are his little helpers??

Maybe some of these shell-shocked newcomers in the thread?
I think Billy is all right, but im not vouching for anyone, and certainly not for someone THAT active in this thread.

Don't assume EVERYONE who is new on here are scammers IF it is a scam as nothing is proven either way yet. I actually pushed past newbie status just so I could invest in this. maybe if I had been on these boards for longer I might of been more wary? still I maintain it isn't over till the white paper date comes and goes.

It was always going to be a speculative punt...if it's a scam I won't be bitter? let people take these risks as long as they know they are risky which I think was made clear from posters.

I am sure you are one of those who missed NXT boat.

As someone who might of just lost some money I'm not finding you being that 'helpful'....no next for you.

I will console myself with knowing I have many multiples more NXT than you, after checking your account. Smiley

Haha please donate Smiley

just to add: don't worry; NXT express will give you back twice the money neon guy took away.

I wouldn't click at any of them if I don't know to what they are targeting. Now aliases for paranoids are useless

+1

Will make some sort of popover that shows where it links to (in browser extensions)

that would be perfect.

Most mainstream users are not paranoid. They just like what are friendly and easy to use. That is well established by some credible large scale surveys for users of Facebooks, whatsapp, snapchat etc.
Well you could see how easy savvy people here are falling for scams like Visa, Neon, shares etc.

Brainstorming

I'd like to introduce a concept of a new feature called Account Control. This feature will allow to do different things with ur accounts. For example, u will be able to set a lock on an account to prohibit any outgoing transactions until a special condition met (e.g. an incoming transaction from a predefined account). Another example is Pooled Forging, when an account leases its forging power to another account.

Please, post here what u would like to see in Account Control.

Both features you mentioned are Great. The locked account can be a saving account. Or it could be used as a escrow monitored account as the escrow account is the predefined account. Tremendously helpful.

Can a locked account forge ?
Yes, it must be able forge or this feature have no meaning.

The bold functionality is still helpful even if the locked account cannot forge. but maybe i am wrong if the account holder can change the predefined account address at will.
