There has been two auctions so far
 this is the last one

in the, first auction I received my blade 4 days after the payment.
Cool looks like this round of auction is over.

We still can have our ROI.. BFL is even worst https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=192709.0
Honestly companies like this don't deserve to stay on the market, Avalon included. Every other company would have already been closed.
employed sick? Wtf I should care? Is it my fault?
sabotage? It seems like the excuse of the dog that eats the homework at school.. In any case who care? We want the units for which we paid, not excuses
I am glad to have bought some Asic hardware from AsicMiner, that is the only company that is not telling bullshits to his customers so far.

How can one purchase hw from asicminer?
1789  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: How to fix ATI Sapphire 5830 fan (dead)? on: May 02, 2013, 05:22:00 AM
Was looking at one of my rigs, and the card was running at 94'C. Saw the fan kept stopping and starting, maybe 10rpm or so? His the PSU switch, and pulled out the card. I can tell it's worn down or something. The past few months it was getting louder, so I figured it was on it's way out. I can spin the fan with my fingers, but it feels like it's un-lubed or something. It doesn't spin as freely as the other fans do.

I remember seeing a thread awhile back about fixing GPU fans. Can't I drill into the fan someplace, and add a drop of a certain oil?

Pull fan out with a Vice grip
Apply IPA on the fan hole, put the fan in gently, rotate to clean the hole
Pull fan out again
Apply 4 -5 drops of engine oil or automatic transmission fluid in the fan axis hole and press fan in.

1800  Economy / Speculation / Re: Boooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggg! on: April 29, 2013, 08:37:50 AM
As a long term bull,

I like the fact that the price has been holding steady over $100.

The longer this holds the more it gets engrained into people's psyche that bitcoins are worth more than $100.

Stability also consists of small amounts of volume over time = lots of volume.

Building a base at these prices is really a good thing.
