Hasn't "the room" already been around for a while? http://betco.in/Their poker app is HTML 5 and works in a browser. I tried it on and android phone and tablet with no issues. Free bump for them I guess. Professional players aren't ready to play in bitcoin denominated accounts. When you're making a tiny percentage playing thousands of hands a day, bitcoin volatility can kill you. Without the professionals, you see what you get very clearly at betco.in: severely limited number of active tables. A large bitcoin drop could kill you, but volatility evens out. It's not that hard to hedge anyway. And anyone serious only has a fraction of their bankroll on the table. It doesn't take long to get it back to dollars. if you have 10% of your roll on the table/in coins then put 2% of your roll short bitcoin at 5-1 leverage. I wouldn't do that because I think bitcoin exposure is +EV, but it's not a deal breaker for a thinking person.

Kalyhost is the hosting company from MagicalTux...
So, people are trusting millions to a guy who can't even cancel a billing on his own hosting panel... lol
I like to think it is because he's so busy carefully attending to MtGox, but he should hire someone or close it down imho.

I've been ignored by KalyHost support for several months. The problem has become rather urgent. Does anyone know how to get their attention immediately? I've sent many emails and PM'd MagicalTux just now.
Does this help? https://www.uid.st/forgot_loginDoubt it.

shhhh
btw - on the GOX depth table, there are more bids than coins in existence, or that will ever be in existence (total = 27 million bid)
Nudge nudge, wink wink... If there are more bids than bitcoins, than it's like the silver market, way more paper than actual physical. I guess I need to be holding "physical" bitcoin.... No, it doesn't mean that at all. If two people offer to buy my one of a kind time traveling Volkswagen it doesn't mean there is a paper Volkswagen.

One of the things talked about on the in Roger Ver's interview on freetalklive, was the issue of trust. how can anyone trust a bitcoin businesses? the answer was simple and true, You just have to find out if the bitcoin business is trusted by the community. newbies often come to thebitcoinreview.com to find products and services. (about 1,000 hits a day) with that said, if you have ever used your bitcoins to buy a product or service it is important you post a review on http://www.thebitcoinreview.com/help build trust! post a comment or review. Seals With Clubs was there but gone now. Are there restrictions?

Insert Quote I think the calm of the market the last 24 hours has been very strange to say the least. There has been very little actiivty in the way of up or down but we have slowly been trending upwards. The rapid swings of the previous week are much easier to make more bitcoins on lol. Either way I am expecting something big to happen in the next 24 hours. Agreed the main thing is just to wait and see which direction it's going to take. The only thing that has been fairly consistent about bitcoin is that quiet periods lead up to something nice and wild. Crazy huh? Never any storms between storms either.

Mybitcoin was amazing, reliable, and innovative. but they got hacked.
Mybitcoin was not hacked, they planned to steal everyones money from day one. Roger, I generally love your work - but that's an unfounded claim. It might be reasonable for you to harbour that as a personal suspicion, and it may even be true - but it's not reasonable to peddle it as fact. edit: Whether hacked or not - the mybitcoin case serves as an interesting warning about doing business with an anonymous entity, even if it had a good reputation/rating. I don't know what happened, but I really doubt they planned to steal from the beginning. When they opened all the coins in existance were worth one big pizza party. Anyone making bitcoin services back then was in it for personal/ideological reasons. It was a crime of opportunity imo. I think the main lesson is that people holding tons of money better be making tons themselves. I feel pretty good about Gox because they make 1000BTC some days. Tom had big responsibility, almost no pay, and huge temptation.

Poker. You might mention that Seals With Cubs is agorist online poker, not really possible before bitcoin.
Interesting! not really possible before bitcoin. is what we like to hear not sure what you mean tho, isn't there many online poker sites? please explain, what is agorist online poker, why is it not really possible before bitcoin. Agorist means business without permission. If you want to accept dollars for a gambling business you can be stopped as soon as regulations change or start being enforced. The main danger in ignoring these regulations is the choke-point of banks. Using Bitcoin we can securely hold players funds and pay them quickly regardless of any third-party opinions or regulations. I forget that some may not be aware of the recent online poker developments. The major rooms had their funds seized until they stopped serving US players. Any remaining rooms serving the US have very slow cashouts, 1-2 months from what I hear.

Filmed and uploaded <> proof. You need to do it live, and here's why:
- Film drawing #1: Ticket 294 won. Eh, don't like that, will refilm and redraw. - Film drawing #2: Ticket 166 won. Sure, sounds good, I'll keep that and upload it.
The only thing I can think of is you could predetermine a certain time when the drawing will be done (say, 5:00:00), then click the randomize button at exactly 5:00:00 while showing time.gov in the background as proof of the current time.
I don't have any reason to not trust you with your drawing, but if you want to provide proof of no hanky panky going on, it'd better be real proof!
I understand that if I were buying tickets, or have an influence on the pot. I may do that in the future. For now, when I have no reason to influence the outcome, why would I? Live streams can be REALLY iffy some times. I'd also like to point out, that in that case, why are other Lottery Organizations more successful? Claiming to have an automated drawing system on a huge pot is cool and all, but who really wins? The point is no one knows if you are playing or not. There is already a bitcoin lottery so secure that the operator could play it with no problems. You might be interested to see how it's done. It's nice that you want to offer something but it's not going to work like this.
