1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wikipedia Editors Have Voted Not to Classify NFTs as Art, Sparking Outrage on: January 25, 2022, 07:27:39 AM
I don't really care that much what they categorize as art is because I think that for something to be considered an art, I think that it's really in our best interest to consider it as one because there's a design and color schemes in it, if we consider Jackson Pollock's work as an art then how can we not consider NFT as an art. I don't like that there's an outrage behind this just because of a simple thing, kind of making the NFT community much more toxic than it already is.
1402  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: January 25, 2022, 05:41:27 AM
Diversifying your crypto portfolio is a better option because it reduces your risk of bearing heavy losses. In a bear market, everything goes down, but if you have a diversified portfolio, then the ratio of your losses will be a lot lesser compared to having all your capital invested in a single crypto. Diversification is considered a great risk management strategy, and you must definitely implement it when trading cryptos.
That's what many people will tell you but before you can do that, you're going to need a lot of money to be able to spread your investments far and wide, this advice is good but the only problem is that it's going to take a long time before you're going to do it especially at the beginning where you're experiencing a lot of losses and you're more susceptible to frustration and losses because you don't have the emotional capacity yet to be strong during bear seasons.
1403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good moment to buy btc or eth? on: January 25, 2022, 05:08:51 AM
Maybe wait a little bit longer and see what happens, or if possible put a number that you want to get in no questions asked and just wait for it to happen and then buy at that point. Some people end up buying too early in the dip, that they're frustrated because they either have to go out in a loss and get in much lower or wait for the dip to maxed out and then wait for it to pump again. You can also buy a little amount per dip in prices, that way you can minimize the risk and frustration in buying the dip.
1404  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I tested 3 different crypto trading bots on: January 25, 2022, 04:34:08 AM
I don't use bots that much since I have stopped trading a long time ago but is there a possibility that you will have to test those 3 bots another round to see if you can see a different result. Also, would you need a lot of money so the bot can function normally and gather you profit? I don't use bot so I am a little curious with that one. Why did you give it a 6/10 when you've lost your money on cryptohopper?
1405  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy more so you can sell some on: January 25, 2022, 03:55:03 AM
Buying more when one can't manage it does not make sense. Buying  more that can't be managed can also be greed. It is better to concentrate in a particular coin , it is better to get other options than to put all your Hope in a basket.
But you wouldn't be buying more when you know that you can't manage those stuff so I don't know if it's the right thing to do when you know you can't manage it. Plus, I am pretty sure that you're not going to be buying so many to the point that you can't manage it, I think it's going to take a lot of tokens before that can happen. I can see the point of buying more but it's not advisable especially if you don't have a very big amount of money in your pocket and you have a big risk of going broke when you buy more cryptocurrencies.
1406  Economy / Economics / Re: How To Profit From MASSIVE Inflation on: January 24, 2022, 09:21:01 AM
I strongly agree with real estate investing but it requires a lot of money. "If I could, I would." But it doesn't mean there is no risk into it. It will not spoil, that's a fact but it might also take long for ROI and profit. During an inflation all prices will rise at a rate that cannot be controlled. One more trick is while waiting for the ROI and profit, try to make it a business and put it for lease. That way, money will keep on coming rather than just waiting for the inflation to slow down and a buyer to come in.
Especially at the present, real estate is expensive as someone's soul so it's really difficult to get in unless you can immigrate in other countries that hasn't realized their real estate potential yet like small countries that can be a potential tourist destination. I have learned a lot about using real estate as a means to make money. I don't know much about leasing but wouldn't evicting someone out of it is difficult?
1407  Economy / Economics / Re: 13,500 Mining Rigs bought by Merkel Standard on: January 24, 2022, 08:21:37 AM
LOL. It's Merkle, not Merkel. At first glance I thought it was the former Chancellor of Germany buying mining equipment and I was like WTF?

Going to the news, I think this should be generalized. Many anti-bitcoin voices are hiding behind the energy expense to ban mining favoring PoS. This could be an excuse, as governments know they can control PoS but not PoW. But the fact is that if more and more mining is increasingly sustainable, this argument is dismantled.
As much as I want this argument dispelled, sustainable clean energy technology is so outdated and there hasn't been a lot of improvements in it for a long time and not to mention that the reliability of this type of energy is too low that the intermittence of it is a big problem, one moment the sun is shining and then the clouds block it causing lower energy being harvested so as much as we want to say that mining is using green energy, green energy is still unreliable.
1408  Economy / Economics / Re: PEOPLE DURING THE PANDEMIC. on: January 24, 2022, 07:24:36 AM
Covid was the main reason why crypto bull season lasted this long, the exposure was massive and many money got pumped into crypto, the worth of cryptocurrency is finally acknowledge by more humans which is good but we all know what bear season is capable of, every new projects will slow down only traders won't be greatly affected.
I agree, I think that being locked up and looking for ways to make money while at home might've made people curious and try out crypto because times are tough and most of these people are out of job. Hopefully this season isn't going to end when the pandemic finally ends and I can see a bright light that it won't because there are countries that have been pandemic free for awhile and the prices albeit dumping, still doing just fine.
1409  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we need bitcoin... on: January 24, 2022, 06:22:11 AM
The government takes out money Unknown to us, but then with Bitcoin we have full control and freedom.
Bitcoin has been like a friend In times of trials, the poor has gotten more money from it although the sole aim of a bitcoiner is to hold down for life, but still having financial freedom is all they want and they've got it with Bitcoin.
But the problem is that the government is still above us and with a swipe of their hand, they will be able to ban the use or acceptance of bitcoin inside the domain that they're governing, it's that easy for them especially if people are stupidly obedient and they don't think for them themselves, they can be easily manipulated. I think in the matter of financial freedom, it's not enough that we are just hodling, we also should be actively looking for a way to make more money.
1410  Economy / Economics / Re: Efforts made by the US actually provide a new problem for inflation. on: January 24, 2022, 05:10:16 AM
My theory is that they're pulling back their punches in fighting the inflation because they know that the elites who really control the country will still survive, they're trying to maximize their profit in a way to somehow make them more money, and they don't really worry about this problem because they've been to this kind of thing over the years so they don't worry too much about it.
1411  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and the economy on: January 22, 2022, 01:03:47 PM
We can't have the whole world embrace a new technology immediately but with time they would definitely be forced to join the train when the see they have no other options. The challenge we have with global Bitcoin adoption at the moment is the fear of the unknown as well as the fear that Bitcoin has come to devaluate their local economy but the truth is no matter how much the fight the technology one day a new government who understands the trend would definitely see into it's adoption
Exactly but sometimes, you need a little push so that you speed up the process which I think is the best thing because it's going to insure that you're technology is going to be used and that people will immediately enjoy the benefits of using it and you can get the profits much faster. I think that we need to speed up the adoption of bitcoin in many countries because I feel like the slower we get, the detractors will arrive first and plant the idea that bitcoin is bad before even trying.
1412  Economy / Economics / Re: Doctors fear health care collapse amid omicron surge on: January 22, 2022, 12:23:45 PM
If they didn't see healthcare as a means to make huge profit then we wouldn't be seeing this kind of problem, they jacked up the prices of medicines to the point of collapse and they don't pay the staff enough because they want to maximize profits over the fact that they need more people to work on those hospitals so here's the result.
1413  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S. Contemplating Isolating Russia from SWIFT Banking System on: January 22, 2022, 11:46:49 AM
The people that wants to live earnestly will be the one that's going to be suffering the most in this situation, Putin and his cronies are well off already so I am pretty sure that they don't care what happens in this situation, they can always just rebuild at the expense of their own people. A lot of countries have been to this kind of situation and we somehow know how it ends.
1414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any favorite superstititions when trading crypto on: January 22, 2022, 09:35:06 AM
Nothing really, belief in something that may or may not exist and at the same time using it for trading, I don't think that it's really a good thing for someone to do because you're being irresponsible to your actions and you don't believe in your own trading skills so you rely on superstitions to move in trading. The only superstition that I believe in is the Fear and Greed Index.
Well, of course even if you do believe in some superstitions that you think will bring luck to you, it does not mean that you should stop learning and trusting your own skills in trading. You should still improve it as much as you can, but believing in superstitions won't also bring any harm to us so why not try. After all, it if does not work, then we have nothing to lose. I really never have that beliefs when i trade, but mostly i don't trade when i see myself not motivated because it may only be the reason for me to fail in trading and lose my money.
No sense believing though especially if it's not grounded in logic and the virtue of believing in it is zero. Superstitions tend to make you doubt your move so you end up having to half ass your move and end up failing most of the time because you didn't put an all in because you are too scared due to some belief passed on to you.
1415  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy low, Sell high? on: January 22, 2022, 08:57:49 AM
This usual error on trading since its very hard to let go your holdings when you are expecting more returns and your mind is very optimistic rather than selling in lose due to fear on losing more money. It's easy to give an advice to buy low and sell high but you really don't when the right low and high to start your trading since there is always a lower low and higher high in trading.
That's being greedy especially if you can already secure a big profit percentage and still continue to wait for something knowing that you are risking the profit from going much lower which inadvertently goes really low because you let greed take the wheel for your decision making. I got to admit, doing buy low and sell high stuff is hard for me because I just described myself in my post, I am greedy so I make sure that I can maximize my profit as much as possible and I end up getting much lower profit and end up hodling much longer.
1416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tether (USDT) supported gambling platform? on: January 21, 2022, 12:08:17 PM

If it supports USDT, they could just operate as exchange and profit more from it than being a casino instead. But this is also a good thing for the bettors because we can trade as well as gamble. Smiley More will buy USDT when BTC spikes and then keep betting using the tether. And when BTC dips we can buy BTC and still keep betting.  Which casino does have this option?
You're right but the gambling aspect is still a lucrative option, I mean the house literally has more chances of winning in gambling so why forgo that with exchange where people might make wins. I haven't seen one Tether gambling website but it could be a good way to attract players.
1417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥶 Winter Beijin 2022 🥶 Discussion and bet thread 🥶 Winter Game 🥶 on: January 21, 2022, 11:33:19 AM
Am I the only that after hearing "next Olympic games" think about which country has best pharmacology? Athletes set such records, that normal human is not able to beat them anymore. To be able to improve Olympic record for 0.001 sec, or 0.001 point or 100 gram, athletes are obliged to take special medicine. During my conscious period of life I cant remember any Olympic games without doping or other scandal. Do you happen to know, are Norwegian biathletes with asthma participating in Beijin?
Of course they can participate, kind of stupid to ask that. Asthma medications isn't a dope so I don't think that there's any problem with them participating. No, they don't need any shit like PED to push the limits, it's kind of insulting to athletes that you say that they're hitting a brick wall and that they need to dope up just to break that plateau.
1418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: January 21, 2022, 10:59:56 AM
I chose the responsiveness to complaints because it's the least explored and at the same time the hardest one to upscale because complaints can't be automated because it's bound to fall in deaf ears. Sign up speed in my opinion shouldn't be there because I feel like all sign up time should be fast. I can't think of five more to add right now but I feel like it's going to fill up anytime soon.
1419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: January 21, 2022, 10:26:30 AM
He maybe use this statement to bring interest to this upcoming fight, but like what you said, it may jeopardize his future potential fight.
It's the likely case on this one but I am pretty sure that he shouldn't have disclosed the information nonetheless especially if it's not finalized and it will definitely jeopardize that planned event or in a twist of things, we might see them continue and make things much more extravagant as they might think that people might expect much more.
1420  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vikingbet.io launched this week. on: January 21, 2022, 09:56:37 AM
The site looks good, but some articles are not translated - when i change language they doesn`t change. One more + that it was not registered 3-5 days ago. The TS registered several month ago to and hadn`t even 1 post before. But i think that he need at least get copper member and remake the thread. Such post doesn`t attract attention.
I agree, they need to make sure that things are going smoothly especially those that make sure that they are in contact with their clients and their player base because with a lot of gambling websites popping up, pretty sure that they will easily get left behind if they don't do things to keep their users.
