1301  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to tell when a trading bot is a scam on: February 26, 2022, 02:51:46 PM
The first one is all that you need to know that something is fishy with the bot that they're selling you, no one has to know who owns the keys besides you, the other are just unnecessary nail in an already shut coffin. It's pretty rare to find a scam bot though as not a lot of them is used anyways since you need some technical proficiency to tweak those bots to your preference and to be able to make you money.
1302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia cut off from Swift is fantastic opportunity for bitcoin on: February 26, 2022, 02:03:10 PM
Every passing day the sanctions are becoming more strong and powerful, the more we isolate Russia right now the better for Western countries and Europe.Putin I believe now has concluded that this was a bold move and not premeditated like Biden says because if it was I think Putin would have taken measures against sanctions but so far nothing is being done to stop this or to find an alternative to Russian economy.Russia will be bankrupt in no time and that is what they deserve for causing mass blood and destruction together with killing innocent civilians.
That's a good thing to stop the war effort but hopefully the sanctions aren't going to affect the citizens of their country because the people in the country are against this war. Good thing that they're removed from Swift which is definitely devastating for them as each time something important is cut off from them, they'll eventually slow down.
1303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hope Vs Realty of bitcoin on: February 26, 2022, 01:25:44 PM
You don't have to sweat about it OP, it's free to dream and wonder a perfect market movement. I'm pretty sure that the people that you're talking about knows it too. Maybe you're just trying to dispel the illusion so people don't get their hopes up when the market suddenly goes down. Let them hold on to that hope, they're not hurting anyone.
1304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Recent events should make everyone withdraw all their coins to their own wallets on: February 26, 2022, 11:57:59 AM
That's what I am worrying right now, I am jittery right now and nervous because I can't wait for my Trezor to arrive which I am going to use to evacuate all of my funds into, this is a dire time. Thankfully and fortunately, I am not from Europe so I can rest easy for awhile knowing that I'll be able get my funds transferred on time, to everyone who has doubts or doesn't want to do the same, heed my word: it will be your fault when the exchanges go down and you lost your funds.
1305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tourism in El Salvador increases by 30% with the adoption of Bitcoin and benefit on: February 25, 2022, 03:51:41 PM
That's probably a coincidence though, what if the tourism of El Salvador is steadily growing though? Don't that mean that it just coincided with the legality of bitcoin in the country and shouldn't it have happened during the start of legalization. There must be more proof to help prove that it's because of bitcoin.
1306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine - Russia war crisis. Will Bitcoin be legalized soon? on: February 25, 2022, 03:05:36 PM
If Russia can do that then they might've done it already and I think that given the situation, no one's going to stop them from doing so, no way they're going to not do it as the sanction against them continues to build up. Also, what's the point of legalization though, it's not like they'll be able to buy barrels of oil in the black market.
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming Apple iPhone feature for crypto payments on: February 25, 2022, 01:53:19 PM
Maybe what Apple is doing now is a new breakthrough for the development of technology and cryptocurrencies, given the rapid development of cryptocurrencies today, maybe Apple doesn't want to be left behind in this step, besides that it can attract more Apple customers, because people are enthusiastic about crypto very high, for last year there may not have been any view of this progress, and it has only been realized now, I think it is very good.
It's not a breakthrough, that's a big word because I think that some other payment system have probably done crypto payments, it's pretty easy to do that so I don't think that there's not a lot of new thing in this feature. Maybe it's a good thing but not a breakthrough, I really hope that they allow a plethora of cryptocurrencies to be a mode of payment.
1308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hypothetically keeping your bitcoin when you die? on: February 25, 2022, 01:16:14 PM
That 10 years is still a speculation though, I think that we have to eventually branch out in all those 10 years instead of just relying on bitcoin because as I've said, it's speculation and we don't know which way bitcoin will go, will it go up, will it go down or will it plateau. I think that it's the least of my problem when I die, maybe by that time, I would have everything set to be inherited by the next of kin.
Thank you for making that point. Some of us here think that Bitcoin is the only thing that they should be doing, and once they are making profit from it, it is not enough, but that is not right. I invest and trade Bitcoin and other altcoins in the market, but that doesn’t mean I am just stuck to this, I have other Businesses that I am doing.

Before I started investing in Bitcoin I have been into interior decoration for some years, although Bitcoin was able to make me a lot of money, that didn’t stop me from doing what I was doing before, rather I used the money made through Bitcoin to invest in my business and made it bigger, now I’ve been making more money from my Business and that has been able to sustain me more than enough, even now that Bitcoin has been bearish. So, it’s good to invest in our business.
I'm just trying to point out the obvious and I think that branching out your investments is the right thing to do, that's what I've learned from my successful friends and I think that it's the most sensible things. I congratulate and I aspire to be like you, you're probably making millions already because you're an interior decorator businessperson and I aspire to be that successful that I don't worry about money anymore.
1309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World War III & Bitcoin on: February 25, 2022, 12:28:41 PM
I am not certain on what might happen with this war, however, on the bad news is good news storyline that was working for traders before might not work anymore with credit tightening everywhere to fight inflation and this war that has only begun today in Ukraine. Bad news will certainly be bad news and this bull market might be over.
Trading would be the least worry in this war so I think that it's not something that we should stress out but we should still be on the lookout when the opportunity arises, but given that this is a really big war, we might see nukes raining if it escalates but given that the Russian people are against this war, hopefully we might not see that last one from happening.
1310  Economy / Economics / Re: Who gain's from War ? on: February 24, 2022, 01:24:37 PM
If Russia continues and they plan to take over Ukraine, I am sure that they're going to be the one that's going to take the biggest wins in this war, the oligarchs are the other ones that's going to benefit from this too especially those that have stake in war related industries and in extensions, all the rich people all over the world will be able to take advantage of this war.
1311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO COFFEE & CRYPTO MENU on: February 24, 2022, 12:29:47 PM
Wow, that's very good, this is the first time I've seen a coffeeshop that can accept payments and cryptocurency deposits. I think this is progress and a new idea for the development of cryptocurrencies, when we trade, at that time we can enjoy breakfast and coffee, more practical and more modern, a good idea.
Prepare to see more and I think that it's not the first time that we've seen a coffee shop do this, I am not just sure that it's a coffee shop but I am sure that I've seen one posted in the forum in the past. I stand by my claim that this is just the start and things are only going to get bigger, I mean other shops will copy this if the first shop gets more profits.
1312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and international conflict on: February 24, 2022, 11:46:32 AM
Quote
Why is bitcoin losing value at a time of conflict? Isn't it intended to do the opposite?
Pretty simple, if you're from a region that has conflict, you're better off with fiat than bitcoin so you trade that bitcoin for fiat and hopefully it would be enough for you to survive for awhile at least until the aides and help come which might take a long time because in a war, most resources are focused on offensive and defensive efforts of the country.
1313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Bitcoin, You'll Thank Me Later - Mexican Billionaire Says on: February 24, 2022, 10:58:57 AM
Well, now that the price of bitcoin and the whole market is on the slump, I think that it's a smart move to buy right now and with this tension in Russia and Ukraine with no foreseeable end yet, I think that it's in our best interest to stock up or if not, wait a bit longer if the price could ever go down much lower and then set a number that you want to get in.
1314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hypothetically keeping your bitcoin when you die? on: February 24, 2022, 10:26:03 AM
We don't know about future, whether such technology will come or not. Bitcoin might have touch million of dollars or more but i don't think any of us could alive for next 100 years. rent out the safe box at bank, also bad ideas cause 99.99% chance that you were unable to get back and your assets would have gone forever. so its good idea to think and plan about bitcoin for now. But why need 100 years? I think After 10 years of holding bitcoin, also could give you satisfactory return IMHO
That 10 years is still a speculation though, I think that we have to eventually branch out in all those 10 years instead of just relying on bitcoin because as I've said, it's speculation and we don't know which way bitcoin will go, will it go up, will it go down or will it plateau. 1315  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: February 23, 2022, 03:55:38 PM
Bitvest is one of the longest signature campaign running here in the forum and one of the gambling sites that I know was reputable but this past few weeks or months it looks like many people are complaining at first I thought it was just a minor issue, yes it is a minor issue but if many people are complaining I think it can be a bigger issue. I hope they would be able to resolve or make changes regarding this minor reports.
Seems to me that lightlord doesn't want to delegate the task to his workers on this one so it's slow moving and they're definitely going to be slow because lightlord afaik is still having some health issues to he has to tend to that before doing anything else, I think that what he did is the right thing but he has to balance out the fact that some people are impatient or have been waiting for far too long.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] World Championship 2021: Carlsen Vs. Nepomniachtchi on: February 23, 2022, 03:17:18 PM
I just read this morning that an Indian 16 year old teenager Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa managed to beat Magnus Carlsen in a Blitz Chess tournament. He is only one of three Indians grandmasters who managed to beat Carlsen. Blitz chess and normal chess games are very different, the players don't have the time at hand to think too deep about moves ahead. It is much easier to make mistakes. In a traditional tournament Carlsen would have probably won. But still, such a big win at such a young age his a pretty big boost for his self esteem. I hope he will keep training and maybe go for a world championship match vs Carlsen at one point. Now I am wondering how this Carlsen loss will impact betting on matches in the future. It is just a matter of time until we have a new world chess champion.

https://edition.cnn.com/2022/02/22/sport/rameshbabu-praggnanandhaa-magnus-carlsen-chess-spt-intl/index.html
That's actually pretty cool, you've got a bragging rights that you've beat the World Champion. Ramesh will definitely be a big player if he continues and pursues chess and becomes a competitive player, this win easily gave him a spotlight and people are going to expect, now that you mention it, I'd love to see him fight Carlsen in a standard match.
1317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: February 23, 2022, 02:16:21 PM
Oh well many people keep discussing about GGG vs Canelo, let's just stick with GGG vs Murata now because it's most likely will happen and the latest fight. Some article said it will rescheduled on Q1 this year, but it's already near 2 months left but there's no official announce yet.

However it's interesting to see the poll, all the 26 voters vote GGG here. It's seems Murata almost doesn't have chance to beat GGG and will be huge underdog.
Well, seeing Murata in his past matches and comparing it to GGG, I think that they're not wrong to side with GGG in this match although I have to cut Murata some slack for his formidability so I think that counts in a way. With the way the things are moving, we might see a big odds offered on Murata.
1318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun alone? how true? on: February 23, 2022, 01:32:55 PM
As you grow older, this question gets much more true because, retirement comes and you will definitely going to see more free time and more money (if you had a job) then what better way to spend those money than gamble it away and gain enjoyment out of it. That's my take on this question.
1319  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: February 23, 2022, 12:41:23 PM
Well said mate there have been a lot of vulnerabilities in so many gambling sites in the past and a good number of them could not survive the attacks and are forced to close down or pack up, both to aid further discussion on the subject of vulnerability we need to narrow it down to a particularly vulnerable aspect, e.g hack, scam and exit game this all mean different things but link to one thing which is a vulnerability in gambling.
The problem with hacks is that it's evolving together with the improvement of the security because some hackers aren't malicious, they just want to improve the security because there's going to be a fault in there eventually and thus they end up trying to improve it in advance so it's a never ending chase with hacks unlike scams that can easily be solved if people just think twice.
1320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally got paid for some work in bitcoin on: February 21, 2022, 02:46:04 PM
I've been paid twice in bitcoin for some php bugs fixing in an ecommerce platform (magento), small amounts but still.. I know the feeling and is amazing. Congrats OP!
Don't mention that it's not a lot because it's still money and a little appreciation goes a long way. I haven't been paid in bitcoin for some work yet but I am working on a marketable skill to be able to make sure that I can offer some sort of services but for now, I guess I'll have to stick with getting paid for writing posts in this forum.
