1441  Economy / Economics / Re: US inflation jumped 7% in December as prices rise at rates unseen in decades on: January 14, 2022, 10:06:10 AM
Now, more people are going to look for ways to combat inflation that's outside the fiat system, in my opinion, this is probably high time that we would see more people in the US buy bitcoin in hopes that it might hedge themselves from the inflation that only steadily grows by year. I have one question though, will a deflation help US? Because 7% is pretty high for an annual inflation which should be around 2% or less.
1442  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Investors Try to Turn Private Islands Into Blockchain Utopias on: January 14, 2022, 09:31:16 AM
So you do not actually own the piece of land, but you own a NFT token linked to a piece of land that might or might not be registered by the local Land registry... right. It is a lot like selling a piece of land on the Moon or Mars, because you will most probably never set your foot on it.
That's basically it, this scheme is just like that Moon guy selling millions of sqm of land on the Moon, this is just a money making opportunity for the person behind the idea since the boom of NFT is still going on and they try their best to cash out as much as they can from poor suckers who believe that they can get something out of it.
1443  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has crossed $43k what's next? on: January 14, 2022, 08:53:50 AM
We don't know yet or better yet, we aren't sure where this is going to go because that could translate either way. We just have to be prepared for what's going to happen next. I don't have a lot of money so I only prepare for when the prices are going to go down so that I can buy more bitcoin when it actually goes down, good thing that I have a decent amount in my wallet so I don't have to worry too much if it goes up and I don't buy right now. Just don't be greedy and take the profit.
1444  Economy / Speculation / Re: Always have an exit strategy on: January 12, 2022, 09:49:29 AM
Having an exit strategy is always a good way to protect our money from manipulation, correction and etc especially if its a bearish market because you don't have clue how long it will last..indeed it is all part of our plan when it comes trading and investing in order to save our profits and to prevent massive losses. Just always remember to don't move your stop loss no matter what or should i say never change your exit strategy because you will end up nothing after all.
You can change your exit strategy, what if there's a more lucrative exit strategy presented to you and you've seen all there is to see regarding this new exit strategy and you see that you're not going to lose anything here, would you still opt out towards that old exit strategy? I don't think so, if your exit strategy can evolve then let it evolve because what good would it do if you're stagnant.
1445  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Deep before the Raise on: January 12, 2022, 09:13:36 AM
The same situation when there's a correction in the market or a bearish situation. wherein most of the price goes deep first but afterwards it goes really high as well because buyers and a lot of investors always take the red situation as a opportunity. Just imagine how bitcoin achieved to all time high value last year.. That's what it is..i mean the most exciting part especially if you bought at the dip.. So expect after these situation bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency will skyrocketed again.
Always has been the case so I always try my best to get into the market when it's going down or if it's bearish because I know that I might be able to get a lot of profit when the prices starts pumping again. Have been able to get in this situations most of the time and I can attest that I am able to get some decent profits out of it.
1446  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Fear Index at 10 on: January 12, 2022, 08:08:59 AM
Fear is low, will take another 20-30% correction to get the panic selling started. Lots of people got in on the bull run and really think the total crypto market cap can double or even triple in the coming months.
I don't know about that but I think that people are starting to panic sell already if not have done it already, pretty sure that a lot have panic sold when bitcoin dipped in 40k but you're right that it's a bit low but a low fear index don't mean that there's not a lot who has already sold. Hopefully many people deserving of profit, get something out of this current situation.
1447  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IS it possible to let your BTC work for you ? on: January 12, 2022, 07:23:46 AM
I don't think so, most means of making money using bitcoin is hands on so it's not really bitcoin worling for you, maybe if you've found a way to invest in someone using your bitcoins and at the same time get paid in bitcoins then you've probably did what you really wanted which is bitcoin working for you.
1448  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is for everyone but not everyone will be for Bitcoin on: January 12, 2022, 06:26:05 AM
You can prevent being a struggler by increasing the number of your investments and not just focusing on only one, with more investments in your pocket and making you money then you will make more and you will eventually make stabilize your way of living. If you don't hit the jackpot, hit the other one's until you've hit one, I believe that to change someone's life, you're going to probably need only one lucky hit.
1449  Economy / Economics / Re: 12% of First-Time Homebuyers Say Selling Crypto Helped Save for Down Payment on: January 12, 2022, 05:41:23 AM
Makes perfect sense if you think of it. Typically, first home buyers are young people, depending on the country, it can from 20 to 30 years old, perhaps more in some places. This is mostly a profile in which at least 12% of people would have some crypto even in the early stages. It is a quite interesting fact still, as it depicts how a deflationary asset is used for only the things that actually matter most to people and on which it makes sense to spend some of the holdings.
I think that the depending on the country is the biggest factor here, you can't easily buy homes or even a land of your own in some countries as it's very expensive, hopefully that can happen to me too with crypto because right now, it's around 1.5 bitcoin and I can already have a decent home and land of my own in my country. Totally makes sense especially if you're one of the early crypto adopters and you've hit a gold mine when the crypto that you've invested gave you an astronomical profit.
1450  Economy / Economics / Re: Euro zone inflation hit a new record high of 5% in December on: January 12, 2022, 04:56:06 AM
Time to buy more bitcoin!
I guess you're right. I have bought already mine when bitcoin dipped at 40k and so far, I do love the growth that my bitcoin has taken when the market price has gone back up again, don't plan to sell mine anytime soon, just accumulate more so I can enjoy bigger profits when bitcoin starts going up towards the moon again.
1451  Economy / Economics / Re: Peter McCormack: 'Bitcoin has WON the war on money'. Do you agree? on: January 12, 2022, 04:21:02 AM
If bitcoin resolves it's issues like network congestion, I would probably believe what McCormack says about it, I wouldn't believe it because bitcoin hasn't really been upscaled to a point where it's really a global market like fiat, what I mean by that is that everyone is using it and at the same time it can handle all of the incoming transactions without a hitch. On the other issue though, I don't think that bankers will sit idly while their rival financial tool is winning, pretty sure that they're going to be doing something about it.
1452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't bet more than you can afford to lose. on: January 10, 2022, 06:18:52 AM
Not only the amount of salary will determine the amount of gambling that should be play always, sometimes too target on a game can make one play any amount of a game, if the person is really sure and convinced that he can win the game he may decide to play with any amount.
Or better yet, you don't gamble at all if you're worrying how much your salary is because whenever that happens, it's mostly likely that you're not paid enough for your work so why spend it in gambling when you can probably do something more worthy with that money more than anything else.
1453  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com suddenly banned my Account on: January 10, 2022, 05:47:06 AM
We don't know if you're telling the truth though, you can ask them to provide evidence that you are abusing the system and that you really are telling the truth because Stake is pretty reputable website although not one that's perfect, it's unlikely that they're going to blunder at a time like this.
1454  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC GAME and HASH GAME Scam wit full legit proof on: January 10, 2022, 04:53:43 AM
Can you provide some proofs of their scams though, and at the same time provide a website link for this gambling site that you're accusing, people in this board takes accusations seriously so it's best if there's a proof to help with your case because false allegations in this forum isn't as frowned upon.
1455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site in 2021 on: January 10, 2022, 04:16:11 AM
Hard to do this kind of thing, I mean there's not one site that doesn't have an issue so for me, it's really hard to find the right one or even the best one because I am strict in my criteria of the best one so for now, I don't have one in mind. There are some that I can say has a potential but I have to wait for awhile.
1456  Economy / Gambling / Re: VR online casinos? on: January 10, 2022, 03:34:02 AM
The technology is very nice nowadays. also gives users a nice experience and also the feeling that you are really in a casino. The software behind it seems to me that is very complicated. In this way you generate more customers than no VR casino. Perhaps a matter of taste. Many people are used to it, isn't VR something of the last few years? For sure it will open a complete new world.

It's not something new, I don't know much about VRchat but I am pretty sure that they probably did it a long time ago so I am pretty sure that it's not something new. VR has been around a long time, before it's commercial use, they have made it specifically for surgeons or doctors if I recall, to at the least simulate operations.
1457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy alts at the right time? on: January 09, 2022, 06:48:46 AM
For myself, I understand the crypto market in this way, any coin tends to fall in price and also rise in value. And in order to make a profit, you need to closely monitor the crypto market. And as soon as the price of a coin drops sharply, you immediately need to buy and wait for growth in order to sell. And not wait for very big growth. Namely, the profit will be obtained from small growth, but this profit is always constant.
You don't have to look at it closely, remember that a sharp drop will always be announced by your exchange if it ever happens, that's what happened to me so I can always catch up when an alt is going down. Also, it's worth mentioning that you might want to reserve a lot of money to buy alts so you don't have to sell your other investments just to get in when another one goes down.
1458  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who saw the Bear market coming? on: January 09, 2022, 04:33:07 AM
Probably create such a topic next time before the drop actually happened, not after. So you just wouldn't look like some Mr. hindsight who wants to look smart in an internet forum and calling people noobs.
Exactly, they're trying to bank on the current situation and say that things did go bad as they've expected. Pretty sure that OP is just fishing for attention or is trying to look cool in this forum to impress faceless individuals in the forum and hopefully gain their admiration but it sort of backfired.
1459  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Enter the $30k Area? on: January 09, 2022, 03:53:37 AM
Looking at the long term RSI for both BTC and ETC which are below 20, I see a massive breakout building. This thing is going to go up at a very very fast pace soon....
That's why it's a high time for everyone of us to buy bitcoin right now and many other tokens if we want to join that pump that's going to happen and we don't know when will it happen so it's a really good thing to start getting in while the market is still on a steep drop. That's like buying a 1st Edition Alpha Black Lotus at almost half the SRP.
1460  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $100k? on: January 09, 2022, 03:17:31 AM
There's still that possibility, as if a steep drop is going to make things worse for bitcoin market to the point of not being able to recover. The market will eventually recover and I don't think that a 100k is an impossible thing to happen this year, we have 12 months to wait for it to happen.
