For me i just dont get it. It is just our imagination or consciousness thats trying to talk to us and people interpreted as divine occurance.
yeah everyone has their own thoughts. had his own opinion. back to the person who did think about it. but, when we respect it will not happen.

yeah everyone has their own thoughts. had his own opinion. back to the person who did think about it. but, when we respect it will not happen. But none of us knows this. We feel comfortable in our lives, but we really know very little. For example. We have no clue about the position of every electron and proton in the tip of our finger with relation to the position of every other one existing there. So why would we think that we know anything about atheism or other religion except that somebody who DOES know tells us?

There have been so many false prophets, claims of divinity, and books written throughout the centuries... how do you know that yours is the correct one? What if the ancient Sumerians had the correct god(s)? How do you know the Hindus are wrong? I hear-tell the Muslims also have a holy book, and a divine messenger... how do you know they are wrong?

As I have mentioned before, when you dig into the circumstances surrounding how the Bible came about, the info that it has, the nation of Israel, the prophesies that have been fulfilled, you will find that there isn't any way for the Bible to exist as it does without Divine intervention. No other writing can claim this truthfully. Actually, if you had really studied religion as much as you say you have, you would know this.

Satan is a role in the Torah. Is very well possible that satan the demon does not exist: in ancien hebrew the term satan was assigned to entities that needs to induce into temptetion someone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wl8roovJvxwAccording to this translator posted in the video it is very possible that satan the demon does not exist. Best regards.

Atheists often criticize religion, so a perception develops that atheism must be anti-religious but this is not quite true. Atheism is just the absence of beliefs in gods and can thus occur inside or outside the context of religion. Thus, an atheist might be devoutly religious, devoutly anti-religious, or completely apathetic with regards to religion exactly as with theists. It all depends on the individual and what ideas, beliefs, or principles they have aside from atheism.

The previous umpteen times this information has been posted has been met by derision by a small but vocal group of pro-religious posters. Apparently that noisy few think they understand atheism better than atheists -- I guess they know what you think better than you do.

No thats fine, what others hate is imposing hypocritic actions thats bounded with their beliefs like killing people that are gay because they think gays are not people, It just amaze me because homosexuality is observed over 450 species and being homophobic exist in only 1 specie and that's us. Add those people degrading a woman when she's a prostitute. This 2 are still happening in our generation because of religion. Great example is this one http://hollywoodlife.com/2016/02/16/manny-pacquiao-gay-people-worse-than-animals-homophobic-boxer/

If you need something in return to be able to do good, then thats so bad. This actually goes deeper than that. Simply being aware that you're doing a "good deed" means you're getting some satisfaction in exchange for it even if you say you don't need anything in exchange. This is somewhat of a paradox but a true "good deed" cannot truly be a "good" deed, it can only be a natural and thoughtless/selfless act where the doer is completely unaware that he is doing something that others might label as "good".

Right. Even Solomon says, in Proverbs 25:27: It is not good to eat too much honey, nor is it honorable to seek one’s own honor.

I like "when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing" There was an older gentleman named John who I met at Tipitina's that described his idea of living with, "i just ask the Universe to everyday bless me with opportunities to help somebody."

Well I think atheists hate religion for two reasons. The first reason why they hate religion is that they don't believe that Gods exist. The second reason why they hate religion is that many base their beliefs based on scientific facts. I think that's the two main reasons why atheists hate religion.

Two major points about your post: 1. Science proves God exists; 2. Science theory is formally not fact.

How's not believing in any god that exist makes you hate? I can't see it relatable. It is contradicting that you said religion base their beliefs in scientific facts. Man, are you high?

I am not an atheists, I believe that God do exist. But I do not have a stable religion, I mean I can enter and attend different religion in our country. My friends are of different beliefs, and when they asked me to attend their church service I will go.
Maybe some atheist hate religions because sometimes it is mind boggling. There are rituals that seems not so logical, not so practical. You might think that why they have to do such ritual that sometimes affect their lives.

legendster [OP], the answer to your question is of the simple kind: atheists hate religion because religion hate atheists.
