That can't really happen. Not ever. The closest thing that could ever happen is Bitcoin being widespread and used by many among countries. But it can never really replace a national currency.

If bitcoin ever does replace the dollar then all the world's currency also will be got replaced. So, this fact has to be taken into consideration and it can happen after a century once bitcoin gets more establishments.

The price is now going ups so that will not happen that fast indeed. Many people also need some normal dollars. Just think about 15 years ago there wasn't even normal internet, we connect through dial-ups for 56k. 15 years is a very long time considering how fast technology changes. Bitcoin is the new form of money so it might not replace but it become a very good alternative to dollar by masses soon.
There is no way to believe bitcoin could replace a giant fiat currency dollar. But I could agree with your opinion about bitcoin possible to be a good alternative for dollar. bitcoin indeed be an alternative other than the fiat dollar. instances when the Greek bankruptcy cases and they have other alternatives and use bitcoin. |

Agree. Or if dollar dies. People will just create another thing that they can touch for trading. A paper or a gemstone, golds, silvers, diamonds. It cant! Bitcoin needs to be physically seen. Just think of what is happening now. We are not growing as a full blast community. And why is that. Because people wants something that they can touch. Something they can hold on to. |
