No I honestly do not think this is gonna happen, its just way too much for the bitcoin itself.
The dollar is too big and its also way too overused to let the bitcoin take it over, the dollar will never be stopped!
i think it will surely be possible in the near future, i hope that bitcoin will have the power to replace dollar Not in your dreams, as long as bitcoins is not gonna be regulated by the government the chances for that to happen is very slim. This is indeed true but it still got a chance of doing this, its these days all about privacy and self control due to this it can be done. The government will soon or later disappear in my eyes because of this, it will go more democratically. |

That is really an impossible thing to happen that bitcoin will replace the currency of dollar. That is only possible if the congress of US will going create a law for the replacement of dollar into bitcoin. But bitcoin is decentralize and doesn't have stable price. |

I also do not think that the Bitcoin is ever going to take over the Dollar because that means that Bitcoin has to become legal. I think that allot of Bitcoin users will get upset if this ever happened. I think that the chance is bigger if the Dollar would take over the Bitcoin. |

I think that allot of Bitcoin users will get upset if this ever happened. I think that the chance is bigger if the Dollar would take over the Bitcoin. Dollar is already the best currency and it don't nee to take over bitcoin, as its already above the bitcoin and no currency can take its place now and not even in future. |

This is really doubtful. That bitcoin will going to replace dollar soon. It is possible if government of US will take control of bitcoin. But I think even them, they can't control this kind of decentralized crypto currency. No one can control Bitcoin unless he/she buys the majority of bitcoin that ever existed. But I doubt that would happen because there are tons of whales out there that hold tons of bitcoins. And also, why the US government of all governments? I don't think the US government has any plans of controlling bitcoins because it doesn't make any major problems to them. I agree, why do people automatocally think that only US government has the potential to take over to bitcoin, even those non-government can take over to it. Technical bitcoiner has more potential to hold this coin rather than the government. |

That is very impossible to happen. Because dollar has been stable and strong for a long time. And it is more popular than bitcoin. And if people going to choose on it , dollar is going to be the people's choice. |

There is no way that an unregulated crypto currency like Bitcoin would replace a legal tender in any state or goverment in the next 20 years.
Most of the western governements run a deficit, need new debt each year to function and pay their welfare state. Which of These states would give up their printing press for free? I believe none as each state or Union wants to Keep Control of the Money supply.
The only Chance I see, would be after another financial meltdown. But before People move on to the next monetary System, the old one Needs to fail.

thats true governments like to control the currency we have at the moment but if bitcoin replaces fiat then this will surely happen without governments permission in my opinion i think it is defintiely possible to happen pretty soon because the price of the bitcoin has a lot of potential to grow and people will be using bitcoins more and more often than dollar |

thats true governments like to control the currency we have at the moment but if bitcoin replaces fiat then this will surely happen without governments permission in my opinion i think it is defintiely possible to happen pretty soon because the price of the bitcoin has a lot of potential to grow and people will be using bitcoins more and more often than dollar Have you tried to imagine how could this be? yeah, yesterday after some transactions through a payment processor, i noticed that really the transactions via bitcoin is much better and with that I did lose any high amount in fees. |
