It will never happen that bitcoin will replace USD as bitcoin is very volatile and one more reason is that it does have a limited amount of coins which is 21 million only and how many people need dollar 8 billion?, if that case happened there will be a micro satoshi or much more nano sat. since it needs to much the amount of usd from highest down to lowest, it is too impossible, but it is possible that bitcoin becomes a legal currency in every parts of the world.
There aren't 8 billion people on the whole planet, maybe you meant 8 billion dolars or something. Even if there were 8 billion people, dolar is only used in the USA, not the whole world : P And yes, there would probably be a micro satoshi or something, but that isn't really a problem. Bitcoin has to just spread more. Yes but have you ever seen anybody refuse to take a usd dollar before. If you have then I will sell you some gold instead. Yes, I know that almost no one takes USD in my country and other countries as well. Euro, for an example, is the most spreaded currency and accepted in many countries and much more spreaded than USD. |

Me either, I don't want to believe that this will happen, because dollar has been dominating the currency of the whole world. Even euros and other currencies are bigger value to them, still people tend to base on the value of dollar especially in the foreign exchange. |

Replacing dollar is unreal, but bitcoin can become better than dollar and people will start using bitcoin soon. But it's require many time to become trusted as dollar.
Exactly people who are unused to bitcoin will take a long time to trust it, as they have more faith in dollar as a currency as they are using it since long time. Not only the time but also the military they trust who is backing the fiat at all costs. Military huh. Hmm this dollar have been and will be there for a very long time. And perhaps we wont see it closed down. That is like so far future before that may happen I dont know when that will be. The chance is really small that it can happen soon because there are still a lot of people that dont even know how Bitcoin works and that is the problem of the currency. So that have to change also and many people thinks that the value of the Bitcoin will rise so it will be also more popular but no one can predict that. |

Me either, I don't want to believe that this will happen, because dollar has been dominating the currency of the whole world. Even euros and other currencies are bigger value to them, still people tend to base on the value of dollar especially in the foreign exchange. If that happens that will be a big change to other countries. The world will be in a different way. You know how strong this currency is and other countries will be really affected. |

To be exact 7 billion people are the population of the world based on the census try to ask our best friend google, and yes not all people use $, but try to think, all of the countries have a dollars as a remittance from workers abroad that are traded on forex, so what do you think? if chinese have a paper bill yuan and USA have a bitcoin virtual money on the network how come that it is possible to trade to some people with real paper money to virtual network money? on some stores or something right,? and one more thing BTC is decentralized and anonymous that it can be used illegally by anyone who uses it without a trace nothing but their address of BTC only on the blockchain wherein you can use tor to use BTC without a trace of your IP add or Geoloc., USA gov. will never allow those things to happen. |

It's just another reason on why it won't gonna happen. Another reason is, there are still many people who don't know or has knowledge on bitcoin. There are still some people will always prefer the old way and don't have access to internet nor phones. Another on is government can't control it and the price is still volatile. There are still many reasons/perspective on why it can't replace. |

That is right. They can absorb it but not use it as a main currency. Government of USA will not allow dollar to fall just like that. They are still a strong country even if they are not at the top anymore. |

That is right. They can absorb it but not use it as a main currency. Government of USA will not allow dollar to fall just like that. They are still a strong country even if they are not at the top anymore. Totally agree with you, there will be a lot of blood bath that may happen if BTC will replace USD, and it is too impossible to make a virtual currency which is on the network only to replace a paper bill that can be trade with another paper bill in different countries, maybe it will only happen when we are totally dead and robots take over the world which means it is impossible right. So I will say it again, It is impossible for BTC to replace USD, but it is possible for BTC to be use beside USD on the market which is currently happening right now. |

I think bitcoin will just replace dollar if the government will allow it, but still the government for sure it won't make it possible. As the people are used to use dollar since then, and digital currency such as bitcoin people will have hard time to adopt it. |

Keep making the dollar stronger and adopt bitcoin as an investment currency or better be a way of doing transaction online instead of US dollar. Besides that is the true nature of bitcoin now. |
