The Bitcoin is never going to replace the Dollar because the Dollar is just to powerful to be taken over by the Bitcoin. It is possible fro it to be otehr way around but I also think that that is not going to happen.
Bitcoin will not replace dollar and it works similar to gold but bitcoin cannot become a currency since it has not prerequisites of a currency. Bitcoin is already an currency and we are using it, only fact is its not popular as dollar yet, and we cannot use it physically at a moment, but dollar will never get replaced by bitcoin ever. I think until it is not physically accepted and it does not a government it is not a currency, we deal bitcoin with currencies such as dollar, euro... |

The government acceptance thru regulation of bitcoins is really a big factor to attract people in using it and to gain their trust, right now we are still in the early stage and only few out of the total population of the world are enjoying the benefits of using bitcoins in online transactions. |

People trust US dollar because FED and the US government stand behind it. No government stands behind and supports bitcoin. If all governments support bitcoin,it will replace USD....but this is just a dream. |

If this interest comes to stay, then there are many chances that this currency become global. If it become more famous then government will automatically support bitcoins. You don't call that a habit, people only use dollar because the government told them so, the central bank are printing money and they want that money only to circulate within the amount, the amount of circulation are well calculated by the central bank base of the serial of the money. |

At least for the sooner future, i don't think that Bitcoin will replace Dollar, because Dollar and fiat generally is most used worldwide and even needed to growing up Bitcoin and increasing its price as well

Yes. Except it will be colonize and I dont think it is that easy to be conquered for their advanced technology. I would rather stop thinking about it than stress out everything. Get another idea or something. |

It is an courageous prediction and maybe know what he tell. But I don't think so. A very long story of us dollar cannot end so easy. Bitcoin is an wonderful tool and has a very precious quality. It is not manipulable. As such it would be a very welcomed currency in replacing every kind of money. Maybe as a money of the money. This is the picture of bitcoin for me. The money which will measure the strength of every money. The change of every fiat money with bitcoin will show how strong is that fiat money. I dont think this can be true because how can a simply cryptocurrencie token overrule something where he excist about. So you all think the coin is replacing the dollar but the coin excist out of dollars. How can he replace it i dont understand this or you all never thought about that before. |

This is really doubtful. That bitcoin will going to replace dollar soon. It is possible if government of US will take control of bitcoin. But I think even them, they can't control this kind of decentralized crypto currency. |

This is really doubtful. That bitcoin will going to replace dollar soon. It is possible if government of US will take control of bitcoin. But I think even them, they can't control this kind of decentralized crypto currency. No one can control Bitcoin unless he/she buys the majority of bitcoin that ever existed. But I doubt that would happen because there are tons of whales out there that hold tons of bitcoins. And also, why the US government of all governments? I don't think the US government has any plans of controlling bitcoins because it doesn't make any major problems to them. |

Bitcoin is not powerful enough to replace the currency of an entire country, since even if the Bitcoin did, the government will do everything to control it. But why not, if the Bitcoin continue to grow, innovate and attract more peoples, it can reach this. |
