I think bitcoin has the potential to replace not only the dollar but fiat as whole, the problem is I don’t think it is going to be anytime soon and also the governments will do anything they can to avoid that to happen.

No, I don't think bitcoin will replace dollar soon because dollar fiat currency has a strong foundation along the worldwide currency. Both of them were having good advantages in terms of money economy, but some has optional decisions to take as their will to use it or not.

First, we need to understand what bitcoin is made for, it is not created to intentionally replace fiat. Dollar is a strong and popular currency and it cannot even replace the currency of poor countries, in every country we have our currency and although bitcoin is universal the way we see it, but the government does not consider it a serious innovation that the world should be using in lieu of fiat.

Make Bitcoin as a world currency is a very good   wishes .Everyone will have their own wishes and it does not hurt to try and make it happen, but trying to make it happen is not as easy as it takes effort and struggle very hard to make your wishes come true.

Maybe, as long as there is no country that admits it then bitcoin whenever going like this, I'm not sure that bitcoin can replace the dollar, we all know that the world is depends with dollar, when there is any to replace it, of course it took a very long time or the presence of unusual happen for example world war three.

Bitcoin and dollar has different uses but I strongly believe bitcoin will replace online payment system like cards and ecurrencies but dollar is hard cash backed by central bank so chances of bitcoin replacing dollar is almost zero

We do not even need to think hard because the obvious answer is they have different features, dollar is money while bitcoin is considered as asset or property. It cannot be spent without converting it to fiat and most likely to dollars since we have volume of users using USD.

We have our own discretion about in everything. Now regarding about your question, it is base on what he believing for, and I respect that.  Though I know most of the community here they believed so much into bitcoin, they know it has something that bitcoin can do someday on which it will surely the community is the number one will be benefits for it.

First of all,Showing respect both of your believing.Regarding the following report ,I'm quite opposite that they believe.Dollar and Bitcoin seems like different in touch .in where FIAT currency like Dollar controlled by central banks.It's hard to believe that central bank of any country could be allowed cryptocurrency bitcoins even didn't possible primary choice!

well we all might not be alive anymore if ever that time comes. if you compare which is more accessible to most people in all levels of society, fiat does not have any competition. Yes bitcoin has every potential to be a main currency but definitely not the main currency. take for example those countries that has very limited internet access for the longest time. of course we have technology to consider and not all countries have the luxury to have decent internet access

yes i also agree with you. i also do not think that dollar cannot replace bitcoin soon, actually the users of bitcoin is not so much. people are currency using bitcoin for trading and investment.  but in future bitcoin can only be used as currency and then we will be able to use bitcoin even in our local shops.

Well, I guess you're right. but, this time, bitcoin not be better than the dollar. bitcoin has not been recognized by the entire community, and yet are 100% legal, because there are some states that make it illegal bitcoin. it may be very many processes that must be passed to the bitcoin replace the dollar, and I am sure it is a long process.
