imposible because bitcoin only transaction online
only digital curency, is dollar money fiat and accepted goverment all the world
it is possible, people always have their phone so in shops people would be easily able to pay with their phone by using a bitcoin wallet app
The system is great for bitcoin but the market is really not convincing in the eyes of the big investor who will use bitcoin as a form of payment processor. They are worried about the big fluctuation and it could lose them millions if some event will not be favorable to them.

It's possible and easy to send and receive money. But confirmations are the worst disadvantage when it comes to payments. It's going to be hard to replace a currency with Bitcoin. It's not only about the payments but also about the fact that it's .. virtual. Old people are going to have a hard time getting used to it.

Older generation will never prefer to use bitcoin as they will find it risky to use so they will continue to use fiat currency as they are very much comfortable in using it.

although bitcoin someday will replace the money, I do not think that it will happen in the near future. takes a long time and a long stage for it. because basically there are still some people who refuse bitcoin in the world. so we had to wait where bitcoin became legal throughout the world and accepted in society before replacing money

No way, no chance we need real currency in order for decentralized currency to work
thats not true, if all people switch to bitcoins we wouldnt need any fiat that we have right now, that would be really great as then banks would disappear over time

Banks will never disappear mate, bitcoin will need strong reason to replace them and I don't see that at a moment and same it goes with dollar too as dollar is too big in compare to bitcoins.
It is not necessary to level the dollar and bitcoin. To date, the dollar enjoyed throughout the world, and they can pay in any store. A bitcoin has a limited capacity, though more expensive.
This is only a matter of time, digital payment in the future may be very desirable, so people do not have to carry cash everywhere and bitcoin will be used as payment in the future.
So now use credit cards and can not carry money and buy for cashless payments. Or to transfer money through the Internet. Of course bitcoin is still very young, but look at how much it will be enough.
not everyone uses a credit card, at least for people who have lots of money, because the interest bill is so high I think. but it will be different with bitcoin, has a low cost, and is also easy to use anytime and anywhere.

Credit card is merely for convenience if you are a wise user, you should always think that the interest and the penalty is so high once you default your payment amortization, if you cannot control yourself that you will just buy things you like because you have that credit card then you should not have that.

There are credit cards, and there are debit cards. Just clarifying for those who are not familiar with the latter. And unlike the former, banks often pay interest on the money held on such cards. Needless to say that you cannot go over the balance of such a card (unless you specifically allow overdraft, which is rare since debit cards usually don't permit this)...

And they are perfect for cashless payments

Debit and credit cards have revolutionized the way we pay for goods and services. In fact, since the advent of eCommerce and Internet shopping, cashless payment systems have become more important than ever. Put simply, debit and credit cards provide a quick and secure way to pay for things without the need for cash.

even with this case that most of people dont use cards, still the issue of bitcoin replacing dollar is far from happening.  Bitcoin is still very young and need alot of works to do.  Bitcoin should gain the trust of the authority and then be adopted by major citizen in this world.  Bitcoin shouldn't have people that control or hold majority of the coin because this is one thing that prevent bitcoin to the spotlight.

Many banks (and payment systems which are not banks) now allow to issue virtual payment cards which can be created specifically for making purchases online in the case you don't want to use your real card or just don't have one. Some Bitcoin exchanges (like former Bit-X) and wallets (like Coinbase) released their own Bitcoin payment cards, either real (CoinsBank debit card) or virtual (Coinbase Shift card)...

And renamed themselves into "banks" of sorts soon thereafter (e.g. CoinsBank)

I don't think bitcoin will replace dollar soon. Bitcoin cannot be used offline and not every place in the world has an Internet connection. Dollar can be exchanged into any fiat in the world, you just need to find a money exchanger.

Maybe after a long time when you can access the internet anywhere in the world and they have finally fixed the transaction speed issues then Bitcoin has the potential to replace dollar.

That's good to know at least that would bridge the problem on the difficulty to spend our bitcoins online. With that services, we will surely can spend anytime to buy some stuffs online and that would be very convenient to us.

Well i believe that more adoption will come in bitcoin and more companies online can accept bitcoin as payment.. unlike on 2015 some site that i know still not have bitcoin payment processor now i see many site are accepting bitcoin and looks like more companies will accept bitcoin as payment even without coinbank service or coinbase.. i hope it will happen in these following year..

If you are interested (or anyone who is interested, for that matter) you can look for more info here and here. It turns out that the Coinbase Shift card is actually a real Visa:

Quote
The first U.S. bitcoin debit card. Connect Coinbase to spend online and offline at over 38 million merchants worldwide [...] The Shift Card works like any debit card today. Connect your existing accounts and spend immediately and directly, everywhere VISA is accepted

not everyone uses a credit card, at least for people who have lots of money, because the interest bill is so high I think. but it will be different with bitcoin, has a low cost, and is also easy to use anytime and anywhere.

CoinsBank)

We cant stop the progress of bitcoin and  also its popularity, day by day  bitcoin become popular and for sure it would  be well developed and many countries  would adopt it in the near future which is a really big advantage to us  bitcoin holders.

I don’t think bitcoin will ever replace dollar or any other fiat currency at least in next few decades. Yes but I believe that bitcoin will have measurable impact on the global economy in next few years and it will become one of the mainstream transaction alternative but I don’t think it will change the things by 100%. There is large number of people who are far away from technology but yet they transact with fiat and they will keep doing it until end.

I also do not think this will happen very soon because its simply just not possible due to the fact that the bitcoin is a bit controlled by the dollar.
Its just so depending on the dollar, if the dollar collapse the bitcoin will also.
