@RoomBot
That was the ONE thing i wanted to mention that i couldn't remember ranting away..

BigVern had said he had no idea who to report the hack to when it came to the Police etc.
yet another staffer admitted that they were in fact on a regular basis..
Locking out misc users and handing over their data to Fed's giving them fake excuses like Network problems.
So...
I have said before ..who do you tell (about the hack) ?
The same fucking people you are ratting out your customers too.  Roll Eyes
(Like Coinbase admitted to doing with KickAssTorrents)

Like, ya uhhhh we're working with the FBI all the time eh..
Ya uhhhh they call us all the time asking us for user info... and WE GIVE IT TO THEM.
But during the phone calls we had with them uhhhh.. we forget to say hey.. we were robbed of all our money.
All 12+ million dollars of it.

Don't worry guys rest assured the Security team came here and said they were hot on the trail and they were going to investigate !
..said Horus who now ignores all of this nasty Cryptsy drama and sits on Polo STILL enjoying his Crypto trade while the rest of you are pennyless.. FOOpennyless !

And rest assured the leader BigVern offered a bounty to get back the stolen funds..
You just have to track him down to collect..  Cheesy
Last we heard DCGirl was talking to him on the phone in China 6 months ago.
So ask her where he went now.

Or just wait for the guy who exposed their Porn / Auction shenanigans to find out where he went..
I hear he likes to fuck Goats but i can look the other way with all the good work he's done to expose them !

So Gleb Gamow how is that lawsuit going ? (defamation)
Horus + JShock threatened to sue you and I and then...
Horus is busy making "trades" at Poloniex now and JSHock was last seen being a shill for Leroy Fodor and his latest POS coin take over for the scam site Stakeminers.. via Social Media.
Which is pretty damn funny considering we seen Michael Wilterdink + Leroy Fodor defending them far harder than even the staff themselves were during all the year long drama and coincidentally they 2 were the first 2 users over at Cryptsy China which they denied.. then later back tracked and admitted to creating after Cryptsy USA went belly up.
Kinda makes you wonder why there is such a close connection between CyberPinoy and Terrik + Cryptsy.

I have heard of a group that has banded together from the cryptsy theft, very angry mob who are only after justice.

They love your work Spoetnik.

Feel sorry for the cryptsy mob, if they knew of anything in the cryptsy theft, RUN!

Run as fast as you can, what I have heard is not good and happening soon.

This is of course just speculation but these conversations had some very ominous rhetoric....

Swore to a quasi-NDA, I'll only say that I confirm the above.

Gleb's research has been entertaining here on this topic.
As i alluded to earlier he was the one that exposed their pre-Cryptsy shitty track record.
I also don't blame people for being pissed off.
I was out when they started collecting ID's from people.. to get "verified".  Roll Eyes

My earlier comments was intended to summarize the situation.
So..
I have not been keeping up with this all for ages but last i heard..
There was originally talk for a long time of a class action lawsuit but nothing materialized for a year.
And i think not long ago someone actually did start one finally but it's based in the USA.
So i am guessing you would have to be an American to get involved.
It may be a good idea to find the lawyer for that though and ask him about one for another country in needed.

Seems to me Cryptsy was an inferno with millions of problems for 2 years.
While the staff kept denying it all ..expecting more coin deposits. (all the way until they closed the doors)
Every one of them has lined up to play innocent..
Even if their "I wuz haxed" story was true.. their behavior is still unacceptable and yeah.. scammy.
And they all KNEW !
You can't possibly see THAT many pissed off complainers customers and not see a problem.
For one thing i seen a screen cap of their moderator login page and dealt with them for ages
and they had the ability to look up your coins etc.. so......
If there was 12+ million in coins that vanished they should have noticed when looking into customer complaints.
But all they would do is volunteer to "push through" peoples deposits or withdrawals on chat for a year.
It became standard practice to have to sit on their chat box and have to ask an admin to go and push your transaction through..
So how do they do that and not see millions in coins gone ?
Like the Security guy Horus claimed (he said he did not have ANY idea until it was announced publicly by BigVern)
Your withdrawal does not work so they look at the records etc.. what do they see ?
All the coins gone ?
I know they do because i was regged with them 2 months after they opened so i know how they work.
They can see EVERYTHING.
And they claimed we had no idea for a whole year as users complained ?
Really ?
Fuck the fuck off Cryptsy assholes !
Meanwhile all they did during that year was insult me and Gleb and some others and call us a liar and FUDster.
Well know what ?

 Grin

Who's smiling now little pricks LOL

Supposedly i got a 1 year chat ban for mentioning the Cryptsy points hack from JShock as he blind sided me after on Cryptsy for what i said here.. mouthing me off all cocky & shit.
He banned me and claimed they had never ever been hacked once.
And when he said that.. they had been .... twice !

First i posted about the Points hack and them admitting it on Twitter and rolling back the POINTS market and i said some guy on chat claimed to have gotten a shitload of BTC and he was asking what to spend it on.
I also said i don't know if it's true but it's what the guy had said to me on Cryptsy chat.
All in a topic here i have bookmarked somewhere (as well as LOTS of other gems logged forever)
Such as his attack on me BELOW after on Cryptsy chat where he banned me..

Note: after the below logged 1 day ban i got i went back a few days later and was shadow banned for a year randomly while laughing with some guys having fun.. NOT talking about any hacks.

You made a post on bitcointalk claiming we were robbed for 89k. This is false. We have never been robbed

Biggs1
Get your VRC now people... it's heading up starting now... A fork has little to no affect on it's value...
tigerwood747
@spoetnik i don't think so = they destroyed themselves for 2 million dollars ? they make humdred thousnads dollars profit per day , and destroy it for 2 million ? no way . its an attack from an exchanger = with an employee ( because as you can read = only employees can make transfers with their secret codes

tigerwood747
@Biggs , why are you risking your holdings on exchanges ? put cold storage

Spoetnik
i as not the one saying man lol

Biggs1
Anyway watch VRC close everyone the bot that sets the price is being serviced and moved to pump here and bittrex...
JShock
The fact is, nothing left the site, it was a internal error that enabled somebody to be able to make an unauthorized action intrernally.. but that user never removed any coins

tigerwood747
100 ltc = and i will put a bot who is going to buy all your holdings . Deal ? Smiley

A quick takeaway: JShock aka John Shockney, Paul Vernon's partner for over a decade, was either lying through his motherfuckin' ass or Paul fucked John in the ass keeping him at bay prior to heading to China.

[POLL] Cryptsy was Hacked ? by Spoentik - July 14, 2014, 10:11:34 PM

Apparently the scene agreed with me on the terminology.

But i have been thinking this incident i assumed unrelated to the BIG hack..
Was timed AFTER BigVern claimed he was hacked publicly for millions.
If so then it shows JShock saying they were never hacked while it had actually happened twice.
Following me on that guys ?  Cheesy

I can't recall the date of the big known hack claims though.

Dudes, I can't seem to shake coinexchange.io outta my motherfuckin' skull ever since it was first mentioned a few posts up.

I've introduced two names in connection with the site administered by user ethought (registered 8 days after BitJohn just days prior to Cryptsy officially going live): Richard Kwan and Lucas Tulloch.

Richard Kwan's partner at Kodo is Nick Moeck: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1335668

On Twitter, DogeVault follows ONLY 14 people, the third of which was Nick Moeck.

Just like ethought's coinwallet.co, DogeVault was hacked and had to be shut down: https://www.dogevault.com

Quote
We regret to announce that on the 11th of May, attackers compromised the Doge Vault online wallet service resulting in wallet funds being stolen.

After salvaging our wallet we have ascertained that around 280 million Dogecoins were taken in the attack, out of a total balance of 400 million kept in our hot wallet. 120 million Dogecoins have been since recovered and transferred to an address under our control.

It is believed the attacker gained access to the node on which Doge Vault’s virtual machines were stored, providing them with full access to our systems. It is likely our database was also exposed containing user account information; passwords were stored using a strong one-way hashing algorithm.

All private keys for addresses are presumed compromised, please do not transfer any funds to Doge Vault addresses.

Doge Vault.

Posted 15/05/2014

BitcoinTalk is hosted on another one of Richard Kwan's longtime friend/partner's hosting site in Romania (just like coinexchange is) whose name is Francisco Dias.

The site ethought.com.eu is associated with Lucas Tulloch and can easily be associated with Richard Kwan.

Which begs the question, who are we truly dealing with over at coinexchange.io that virtually accepts every altcoin on its platform very shortly after they've been introduced in the cryptocurrency space?

EDIT: In case anybody saw it, I deleted my post that followed this one because I was paid my standard extortion fee of 32 BTC I made an error (I misread this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=324420.msg3967564#msg3967564).

Okay, my last post which I deleted was in error, but look forward to an update in this space after I take a shit.

Hint: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=230141.msg12591695#msg12591695 Keyword: axelight

Done with shitting. Here's the post that I deleted incorrectly connecting dupee with FX:

Mr 6 comments pm'd me this just now..

Quote
I know you probably dont care and will delete this, but I actualy have an account that has around 200+ posts, but I was being constantly harrased by BCX and having everything i posted deleted, so i was basicly forced to start a new account.

Not that you care of course, I just wanted you to know that I am not some newb that just threw his shit out there.

Anyways, have fun and ill cya in the troll thread lol

and what coins i mine won't get the stolen DGC back Wink

would like to chat about what deodorant i use too or what brand name of toilet paper ? It's 3 ply that's how i roll Wink

but uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

maybe he should post the address ?
or lets talk toilet paper with some mouthy noob with 6 posts ?

edit:
that is 4 btc Wink

Where in hell did you find 3-ply? lol

my point is that you're probably a BTC miner. I rarely seen altcoin miners talking as much shit. Lost coins are a risk involved in crypto's, if people can't deal with that they shouldn't be in the scene. This kind of shit happens.

Now about the 3-ply; I could use some for cleaning up all the shit smeared throughout this thread.

Spoetnik, am I the only person you haven't pissed off on this forum?

For a little background, dupee419 is BitcoinFX the 30th person to sign up on this forum, with theymos being the 35th (with Marshall Long, Leroy Fodor, Nick Spanos and perhaps Craig Steven Wright being members prior to the former, albeit their users name still allude us, but they're there because neither of them lie). BitcoinFX's claim to fame is that he's the only person on this forum who mentioned spambotsecurity.com, a site hosted by FranTech just like BitcoinTalk is. Search this forum for DGC by dupee419 and you'll be surprised by the number of hits.

Prior to posting this reply, something struck me as being possible: I wonder if DCGirl is made up, the user name derived from DGC. <I've had crazier ideas  Roll Eyes>

EDITING: Further context coming in this space once I formulate the content in my fuckin' skull (with apologies for getting the horse behind the cart due to all my excitement).

First this post by BitcoinFX:

Posting to say that I'm supporting digitalcoin as best I can looking forward and congrats. to baritus (+others) on a great coin.

Since returing to crypto-currencies and this forum I've flitted between a few alt. coins and have been somewhat undecided, however digitalcoin is increasingly becoming the coin of choice for the many I think.

I've been mining digicoin on the down low for a good few weeks now and I'm currently putting more hashpower towards DGC than to LTC mining!

My DGC seed node is running at: addnode=80.229.2.127 which is a static IP address on my 2nd 'home' network / router located in the UK. I'm sorry to other alt. coin devs, but I've stopped seeding all other coins from this IP for now. Two Tor relays run from this IP address i.e. addnet1 and addnet2. Anyway, the DGC node is correctly forwarded on port 7999 and I intend to keep it up and running 24/7 365 with only the occasional restart.

How else am I supporting digitalcoin ? Well, I've added the DGC logo and link to the homepages of my web proxies. See: http://xeronet.primeoptic.net

New PDF's released on http://cryptsyreceivership.com .

This includes information on how to submit a claim if you hold crypto-currency at Cryptsy (page 37):

http://cryptsyreceivership.com/v1/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Oct-26-2106-Class-Action-and-Receivership-Settlement-Agreement.pdf

Observations and theory show that, on average, 28% of the binding-energy in aurophilic interaction can be attributed to relativistic expansion of the gold d-orbitals.

I, too, can't wait to get my check from a ~$13M USD settlement of a class action suit non-related to Bitcoin. The general consensus is that I'll be able to purchase a couple packs of smokes with the windfall. That'll teach them suckers to not call me unsolicited.

Yup....lawyers win again!  It's all slight of hand in my opinion.  Most will be lucky to be awarded enough to purchase a pack of smokes....if there's anything left at all worth more than the postage stamps used to distribute the awards. http://www.newsbtc.com/2016/10/27/cryptsy-lawsuit-ann-nettles-enters-settlement/

I hope you're right....I didn't even submit a claim.  But, I see all kinds of problems associated with determining the awards.  For example, how will they determine the value of each of the separate coin....current values, retro-active values, BTC deposit histories?  I lost clam and dash but I bought them with BTC....clam dropped in value by 90% since I lost them but dash rose in value....I don't think this will be as cut and dry as assumed....especially with auction prices to consider.

well a majority of the settlement is coming from selling off his 1.375 million dollar house. the lawsuit wasn't much more than a million, and they recovered a few hundred thousand in altcoins, and 100k wedding ring, the suv, etc.. so the entire lawsuit will be settled. i joined the first day, and i definitely posted in here when it started, so i dont feel bad for anyone who didnt join it, thats for sure. theres enough to cover the lawyer and everyone in the lawsuit.

Today's your lucky day, bud. It's a proven fact that at the end of ALL class action suits, the little money recovered divvied up between those entitled after ALL the lawyers and other costs are taken care of first equates to each person getting returned no less than what they lost, thus nobody's pissed. Thank Jehovah for class action suits. Praise Jah.

I tend to think most of what is being said is mostly trolling but I have to say that I have begun to see many reports in the last few weeks of people not being able to withdraw their funds.

Here's something else interesting from the same thread which the above was gleaned:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1173703.msg12925578#msg12925578

look at one of the last pages.. BigVern's (Paul) house was foreclosed on.
i'd say they are done.

edit:
- Changed link from page 1 to post by Gleb Gamow.

where he posted..

Quote

Homeless people don't run exchanges LOL

House for foreclosed on in 2009 before he bought it

Proof is in the link you posted but obviously didnt read

Reads to me like Mullick put more time in researching the status of a foreclosed house than he did on seeing if Cryptsy was insolvent or not even though he had full access [view] to most all the wallet address. On second thought, it's already been declared that Mullick was indeed aware of the "hack" from the get-go, as well as other higher-ups at Cryptsy according to court docs.
