Bittrex trading record missing of Vern account / bittrex wallet in views now ( they did not find any trading record . which price he dump user altcoin or what price he buy Btc ) bittrex said they update platform due to trading record lost after update .

Wallet record only available of altcoin / Btc

Bittrex putting gas in fire by this type of answer lol

Not expected /

They must have backup copies,no way they permanently lost them

Taxing my memory, I believe Paul Vernon used to brag about Cryptsy's back out copies as well.

I hope that receiver gets an anonymous email quick so that he can take a elevator up a few floors from where he discovered Cryptsy's servers thanks to some other anonymous email.

Receivership claimed Vernon deleted database and they are now trying to restore it from backups(wallets too) with the help of some former Cryptsy employee - probably Mullick,he lives on Florida now.

I have several screen shots of my Cryptsy account taken shortly before the the web-sight was taken down (damnit). Is anyone collecting screen shots of accounts to help build up a case. what should I do with my screen shots or am I completely SOL? Right now I am embracing my pissed-off-ness and trying to accept the terms of my losses. In any event Thank you.

I took a video of my account lol, just in case there is somehow I can get my coins / money back

Is he finally in jail?
Why do we keep letting these thieves go free?

it's so FUNNY ! on a hand, you are asking for freedom, no gov, no rules, decentralized shit and on the other hand you want the authority(gov) to put someone in jail because he ran with Bitcoin.  Grin

why did "you"(those who lost Bitcoin) use an unlicensed exchanger? why didn't use Coinbase, Itbit, Gemeni, Circle(all these are licensed) ?

stop whining on forums after you use shady exchangers. you assumed a risk, this time you lost. that's it. Smiley

Trading record's  example

Bob ;- send 1bitcoin to cryptsy wallet .( cryptsy wallet record got 1btc form Bob accounts)

He trade make profit .now bob have 2btc balance ( trading record )
Bob :- did not withdrew that coins
      2hours after
Cryptsy shutdown for same reason  or hack / user's trading data lost .
Cryptsy restart back . normal again

Bob claim he have  2btc  balance but he got  1 bitcoin balance Huh

But cryptsy  owner said this information base on your deposits ( bob don't have proofs to show . he have 2 Btc , law not even help him in this case )

******************************************************

Now here bittrex Vernon accounts have samething

Theres not much anyone can do, if you dont have access to them then no one does.

Esp let alone on that site itself, unless someone brute force their self a way in, and magically see the coins there. But at this point, its pretty much all gone and this thread is just keep aware of faulty exchanges.

Not just alt coins, but towards what can happen to bitcoin exchanges as well.

Plenty of people used cryptsy for years, there was nothing shady about it until near the end, just like gox. Using every exchange assumes a risk, so just get over your self, ok? Tongue

I understand that. They will do the same with Bitfinex, Kraken, BTC-e and similar others. Smiley   All these are unlicensed. They have NO responsibility toward to their clients.  I will see the same shits ("plenty of people used XXXXX for years") when one of these will disappear(it will happen for sure). Smiley

Ok, do you still want use them? Great! Do it but don't complain when something bad it's happening with "your" funds.

So what? Who cares? People have to use some exchange, "licensed" or not. Not sure what country you are in, but sounds like you are in the USA and are thinking the rest of the world gives half a fuck about licensed exchanges or not - They don't, and yes, you are correct, it will happen again.

Btw, I'm not whining a bit. I lost nothing in that shit hole, I was just pointing out the fact that you don't need to be a condescending douche to these people here who lost $/coins. Roll Eyes

"Letter Filed Under Seal"? What does that mean? Does this mean Paul is under indictment?

It means that Vernon lawyer thinks some informations are too sensitive to be open for public

Motion for clerks entry - when a person(in this case Vernon) who is required to be present before the court for some proceedings , fails to appear in court.

Actually it got shady long before "the end" as you put it, so before you get high and mighty about people's assumption of risk, check your facts. Could be as simple as the early posts on this thread letting people know of the issues that pointed to insolvency. They did not operate in a legit fashion for an extended period of time and people knew it, so don't try to be paternal and defend a thief.

all the countries request a such financial license for operating as "exchanger". where do you live? Europe, Australia, China even in BVI or any other island  you need license

What I am saying is " when you use an illegal service, you may except that something unpleasant to happen". If you accept this risk, "you" should not come on forums for whining, "scam" Smiley

It is hard to say is it receivership or Vernon. If it does not move further it is receivership, putting them in a new wallet.

But if it moves further, then it means Vernon is again in the full motion.

I guess this is what we call progress.

Still such a shame a known alt coin currency exchange goes down. Since this whole ETH is on the rise that crytpsy could of been a part of.

Now coinbase is taking over crytpsys old job lol.
