Today there are several Italian Men's Singles ATP Rome matches that will take place.
Out of several matches there were two that caught my attention and tried to bet on both of them.
Rublev vs Molcan Alex.
Hurkacz vs Jeffrey John.
I bet Rublev and Hurkacz in the match later even though I only got relatively low Odds but that's not a problem because what I want to get is a victory and experience in tennis betting.

This is the prediction if both can perform well and beat their opponents, but Djokovic was still in a dubious appearance when he played yesterday he had quite a hard time in the first set even though the second set was relatively easier. Prior to the final Djokovic will face quite tough opponents who are very likely to thwart his mission to defend the title here, there will be Rune and Sinner and these two young players have shown very impressive performances this year, and I think Sinner has a very open chance to beat Djokovic in the semifinals later if both of them get to the semifinals, and it would be Sinner's first win over Djokovic.

Alcaraz will probably be easier to get to the final even though there are some players who can thwart that, but how is he performing in Mutua Madrid's and if it stays like that I think the seeded players who are in the same draw with him will have a hard time beating him, maybe he will lose one or two sets but getting to the final doesn't seem to be an obstacle for him, only an injury might hinder him because that's his enemy so far, and if he gets injured it will be difficult for him to compete in the French Open because he is also predicted to be the favorite to win the grand slam tournament.

Actually, I have made a lot of predictions previously about Alcaraz, actually in favour of Alcaraz but in the end, I was wrong. I would say that on paper it is currently looking easy for Alcaraz but this can be very different in reality. He will have to be consistent to reach the finals. Which again on paper looks really easy but there is always a chance for some surprises to happen.

I think the same thing about Medvedev. But it is going to be a little harder for him compared to Alcaraz. After all, Alcaraz is in good form and his opponent are also not very strong in my opinion. But that is not the case when it comes to Medvedev

It is sad news for the tennis community although it has not yet been confirmed. Chances are shrinking that Nadal will play at RG.

It is not looking good for him and if you watch the video you can see how desperate he is. If he is in that condition right now, how could he ever get the fitness to survive a whole RG tournament? If he even suffers so hard during his training sessions where he can take control over the workload and all other factors, I can't see how he can improve so much that it makes sense in his own opinion to start the tournament.

Ah I cant see it happening at this stage, the current tournament in Rome was the last chance
to get some actual game play and fitness before RG. If he isnt fit and ready now and
when RG starts and he decides to enter he could be beaten in his first or second
match depending on why he gets drawn against.

If he does decide to play it could be interesting to bet on his opponents rather than
on Nadal himself, surely he will be at a disadvantage with no prior tournament
preparation done?

That's an interesting consideration indeed. Without any preparation whatsoever, even if he feels more or less ok, what is the chance that he can play even 90% of his best tennis?

But what Nadal is known for, he usually wouldn't start if he himself thought that he is not going to be able to make it to later stages in the tournament because of his hip, knee, foot and whatever is hurting.

But when you bring up that it could be smart to bet on his opponent, I don't think that the odds will be the same as they have been in the past when an underdog plays against Nadal. It will probably have some adjustments and will not only be based on his past achievements in RG.

True, Djokovic is hugely overevaluated. Cmon the guy is 35, his body is ageing. Both Federer and Nadal started having issues with frequent injuries about that age. He wasn't very confident in his opening match in Rome. I think any of the players you mentioned has more chances of winning than Nole.

It's more on his mental toughness though, sometimes we think that Djokovic is intentionally losing the first set before blasting his opponents on the next 2-3 sets. But maybe he was just reading them and thinking on how to counter.

Or he really having a bad game, but with his experience and him thinking very positive that he can win and overcome this game. And that is the hallmark of a great champion, always finding ways to overwhelm themselves and then lead a impossible comeback and victory.

Interruptions are always a burden for the players. As a result there can always be surprises.
Just saw that there have already been some surprises in Rome. AAF lost against number 77 Popyrin. Fucsovics won against De Minaur. Khachanov lost against number 63.
I have not seen Fuscovics play yet. But he seems to have a good form at the moment. So maybe I should watch it and there will be a surprise.

In conditions like this it is too risky in my opinion to bet only by relying on a few of our favorite players.

Alcaraz is the tennis player with the youngest singles number one title in the ATP, he always plays with satisfying results so it's hard to beat.
So far Alcaraz has won several ATP Tour singles titles and he is being tipped as a future replacement for Novak Djokovic.

There is a bit of noise around Sinners win over Kokkinakis on Friday in the round of 64, he
won in fantastic style in two sets, 1-6, 4-6. I didnt see the match but read that it was a very
strong performance. He plays Shevchenko today which he should win and being the favourite
@ 1.08. He should be able to get the job done in under 18.5 @2.11....

I don't think so. I haven't heard about the doubles speech incident so it's really hard to say. Perhaps some lack of time issues? Anyway, ball girl and ball boy outfits were supposed to be sexy. Short skirts and shirts are considered sexy on girls but not on boys. Who prefers short shorts on guys? Mostly gay men. Women and straight guys prefer some more conventional clothes. So it's more about different criteria of sexy.

As to the BD cake, I think that's more because Alcaraz is Spanish, he superseded Rafa as some sort of a national hero in Spain, not because he's male.

In this case, it is not about something that the women voluntarily agreed to, but about the decision of the organizers, and no one asked the women for their opinion.
After the final matches, only the girls were not allowed to give the usual speech although they wanted to speak. Maybe the organizers thought that the women had nothing smart to say and that it was a waste of time?
As for the ball girls, do you think they had a choice whether they wanted to look sexy and wear short sleeved tops and short skirts or they also had no choice?
If the girls could decide for themselves that they wanted to look sexy and wear shorter skirts, and that was their choice, then I have no problem with that, but I kind of doubt that they could decide the length of their tops and skirts.
So what is the purpose of those girls at the tennis match? To do the same job as the boys and help the tennis players during the match or to wear as skimpy clothes as possible, look sexy and attract the male crowd to the tennis match?
In that case, it might be better for the organizers to simply hire strippers to strip naked on the tennis court, if that's the only purpose of the girls at the match.
If the purpose of ball girls is the same as ball boys, to help tennis players during a match, then they should have equal rights and wear exactly the same clothes.
Otherwise, in my opinion, this case is about sexism and the humiliation and exploitation of women.

I'm starting to lose confidence that Nadal will participate in that tournament. Age and injuries are not a happy combination.

Djokovic remains a great. I think Djokovic plays a little less on clay, but he is also one of the favorites at the French Open. I'm starting to lose confidence that Nadal will participate in that tournament. Age and injuries are not a happy combination.

Perhaps Nadal is preparing optimally for the tournament in Paris. He may then play a tournament and prepare optimally until then. That man made tennis great in Spain. There was a picture of Nadal on every building at the time. Perhaps Nadal is somewhere happy and relieved that Alcaraz is here now, that should be Nadal's successor. I'd rather have a compatriot succeeding to the throne than an old rival? I think Nadal and Alcaraz would love to play against each other again, and maybe they'll train together these days. Who else can Alcaraz learn from than Nadal?
