Yes, I agree, Khachanov - Lehecka will be one of the most interesting matches today.

The match did not go as expected, Lehecka played with a lot of mistakes and this was very profitable for Khachanov who is known for his inconsistent play, hoping that Lehecka will put up a tough fight and put pressure on Khachanov to make the match into 3 sets and beat this seed but but looks really down.

I did say Felix AA was not performing at his usual level but I still backed him today,
I thought he would still prevail but yea going out in 2 sets is not great for his capabilities.
Cerundolo I learned was a semi finalist last year, yea I learned that after he beat Felix....
Well done to Cerundolo, he gets his revenge after Felux beating him at Indian Wells!

A completely unexpected to see Felix AA lost in straight sets to Cerundolo, he is one of the young tennis players who often shows things that are often below his usual game, maybe that's one of the reasons he hasn't won 1 title in a major tournament because only those who are consistent have the chance to be champion.
Tiafoe is left behind from Sonego 2-5 in the first set and maybe he will be the next seed in the tournament to be knocked out after Hurkacz lost to Mannarino in 2 sets

Hurkacz losing to Mannarino is unexpected, although thinking about it Hurkacz is at a level
I think which is below his capabilities, much like Felix AA IMO. Sonego is going really well, I wouldnt
normally bet on either him or Tiafoe, Frances can be unpredictable.

Anyway some very entertaining matches coming up today particularly Paul v Alcaraz, I think
Paul could post a fair bit of difficulty for Alcaraz and it could be a close one...

I am fully aware of the fact that Zverev had a bad injury, but for how long is this going to be impacting him? These guys at this level have all kinds of coaches. Physically, mentally, whatever they need. His results are pretty bad so far. Lost in the 2nd round at the Australian Open, lost in the round of 16 in Rotterdam, lost in the round of 16 in Qatar, the best was the semifinal against Rublev in Dubai, then he lost again in the round of 16 in Indian Wells, and now he got smashed in the round of 64 in Miami.

The injury is the only excuse here. If it isn't the injury, then what can it be? Is he too distracted from tennis? Is he still as focused as he used to be a while ago when he had these great games and fights?

The experts in sportsmedicine saying that a return will take at least as long as a break due to the injury was. I think his break was 7 months long. He started with his first tournament in December. So he should be back to his old level about in May/June.
But I agree with you that the early lost in Miami is a step backwards. So I am curious to see how he will perform in the next tournaments.

Absolutely yes. I have seen a couple of times Tiafoe to overturn the result of a match after it was one point away from losing.
But yesterday Sonego was really strong, solid, not an easy opponent!

Maybe you are right and thinking about it, it's a good rule you brought up here! I referred to myself and had some injuries as well, but I am only a hobby sports guy. But yes, when I was injured it took about the same time. Of course it doesn't always exactly apply, but it is a good rule of thumb! Thanks!

Talking about injuries Andreescu suffered an injury in the evening match local time and it looked like a pretty serious injury because she ended up having to use a wheelchair to leave the field because she couldn't continue the match during the match in the second set, she became a player who often struggled with injuries after winning the US Open Grand Slams are relatively frequent where she has to rest due to nagging injuries, this ankle injury will probably make her rest for a long time but it has not been confirmed how severe the injury is.

Waiting for the first two matches which will be exciting, Sinner vs Rublev and Fritz vs Rune.
In H2H Sinner vs Rublev is very even but seeing how Sinner this year is showing good performances it will very likely be Sinner's win.
Fritz vs Rune this will be their first meeting, Rune can perform very impressive and difficult to beat but this is a match that is quite difficult to predict who will win because both have the same chance even though Fritz is favorite but Rune has a weapon to beat him.

There was a documentary about Zverev at television. He said that after his injury he was very afraid not to play at the same level as before.
Players are always under a lot of pressure. And after such a big injury the pressure is certainly even greater. The next months and next tournaments will not be easy for him. He will play on clay again. That where he got his injury. How quickly will he get back 100% confidence in his body? I wish him very much that it will be quick.

Hey guys I'm back! Missed some crazy surprising unexpected action in Miami! Many favorites are out but let's see what we're going to witness today (I can give you a hint: it's a betting nighmare  ):

All matches have explicit favorites but things are not that obvious I fear.

Ruusuvuori v Sinner  Sinner has been playing flawlessly so far and his win over Rublev is a proof but.. Ruusuvuori is enjoying one of the best tournaments of his entire career (so far) in Miami. He has also managed to win Botic van de Zandschulp and Frances Tiafoe in the previous rounds. h2h is 4:0 Sinner and he's got plenty of talent so I'm saying Sinner.
Alcaraz v Fritz  The two haven't met before on tour.  We all know that Alcaraz if #1 in the World and has been playing awesome recently but Fritz is equally good! The American has managed to overcome opponents like Shapovalov and Rune on his way to the quarterfinal. My choice is still Alcaraz but it's a slippery bet guys...

Cirstea v Sabalenka Sabalenka is a monster, a train pushing everyone and everything out of her way. After she fixed her serve (most double-faults on tour in the previous season) she has become almost invincible. Against her today, Sorana Cirstea, an underdog, a Romanian veteran whose performance has been perfect in the US series of tournaments so far (winning players like Garcia). Both ladies haven't played each other, this will be their first meeting. My (conservative) bet is on Sabalenka.
Alexandrova v Kvitova Kvitova is approaching the end of her glorious career, every tournament can be the last for her. I can see how she's trying to enjoy these last seasons on tour. And I have to say she has played tremendously so far. Alexandrova has stunned many fans with her awesome wins against Bencic and Andreescu and she will give the Czech a good fight. Still, my bet is on Kvitova!

You're right about Sinner, he didn't give Rublev the slightest chance to knock him down in yesterday's match, his performance was practically perfect because the mistakes he made were quite natural and Rublev was so frustrated. In the match, Sinner is far superior to Ruusuvouri from H2H, which he won all of and also the bookies provide quite a big difference in odds and has the potential to only last 2 sets, and maybe from the two matches in the men's section Alcaraz vs Fritz will be a bit even, but Alcaraz still has a bigger chance than Fritz to win and usually only the initial set will look even and then Alcaraz will easily give resistance to Fritz, because when winning against Rune Fritz is enough to make a lot of mistakes, especially double faults, and Sinner vs Alcaraz will be the first semifinal in this tournament.

That's completely unexpected, atleast Tsitsipas should've won a set. The first set was really fighting and the tie breaker favoured Khachanov. Maybe the bookies could've sensed the match outcome through tennis fans opinion. Finally Miami Open have reached the final stage. Every Quarter finalists were young and energetic and I believe Medvedev, Jannik Sinner, Alcaraz and Khachanov will move to the semifinals and once again the final match played between Alcaraz and Medvedev.

Sorry for your loss, that would have been a nice win! I am not really following any tennis for the moment but why always combining multiple bets? You won the other 2 bets and than the last bet fails you. Sometimes the bookmakers know it better than we, but they can be wrong also  .

Sorry for your loss, that would have been a nice win! I am not really following any tennis for the moment but why always combining multiple bets? You won the other 2 bets and than the last bet fails you. Sometimes the bookmakers know it better than we, but they can be wrong also  .

That's a big loss, multi bets bring good profit and I've seen him win good on multi bets. This time the luck hadn't favoured and in most of the matches his prediction used to be perfect, particularly playing for winning atleast a set were easily won. Maybe an unlucky day to analyse better and go before the next bet.

Maybe this could've been predicted based on the previous match performance from Tsitsipas. Earlier in the Indian Wells he lost to Jordan Thompson after great fight. The match ended with two sets on tie breaker 7⁷-6⁰ 4-6 7⁷-6⁵.

It seems so and better to avoid the match we saw it's quite strange how the bookies give the odds, I feel there is no reason for Khachanov to be the favorite in that match because he has never won against Tsitsipas at all and his ranking isn't much better either, sorry for the loss
Sabalenka losing to Cristea in two sets was very unexpected, because I didn't think Cristea was able to hold Sabalenka well but Cristea was able to save important points and didn't give Sabalenka a chance even in the second set, Rybakina's path seems to be easier with the defeat of Sabalenka because she is the strongest competitor in the women's section

Alcaraz vs Fritz is still postponed so it will be held today, Medvedev and Khachanov look like they will have an easy match and make them go to the semifinals and face each other later, maybe in the final we will see Alcaraz vs Medvedev again and if it happens hopefully Medvedev's performance will be better than in Indiana Wells
