But most people don't want to live in a cardboard box or under a freeway overpass.

I have the ownership of a house, which I received as inheritance. So I don't have to spend anything extra for rent, or have to live in a cardboard box.  Grin

Do you pay the bills on the house? My electric, water & sewer, gas and trash is more than $450 a month. That would leave you with $150 a month for food and everything else. You eat lots of beans don't you? lol

150 is very do able. actually my wife is so good at coupons that we could eat like kings on 150 a month if she put her mind to it. sometimes the stores pay us to take food out of the store! one time walmart had this sale where, combined with all of the right coupons, we went in there every day and walked out with a 20 dollar bill until the sale ended.

Rep Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=381041
If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited? Is there any process, procedure or ritual through which an immoral action can be legitimately transformed into a moral one with out changing the character of the action itself?

What? Never heard of people getting paid to buy stuff by making use of coupons. Haha, nice going Cheesy

Electricity: $5 p.m.
Water: $ 1 p.m.
Gas: ~ $50 p.m.
Trash: free

So I am still left with plenty of money to eat quality food. Too bad that I don't like canned beans.  Grin

You don't pay ownership tax? Where I live it's almost as much as the sum of all the utility bills.

My house is quite small. It is one-storied, about 900 sq ft of built-up, in some 230 square meters of land.

Ownership tax is around $10 per year.  Grin

You must be a Native American living on an Indian reservation or a disabled senior citizen living in Louisiana because that's the only way you could own 900sf of residential real estate and pay $10 a year in property tax.

in coupon lingo its called "overage" with most stores you just have to use your overage on products from the store but walmart is one of the rare exceptions that will actually let you walk out of the store with cash from the drawer Grin its fun especually seeing the reactions from the employees. sometimes they do this face Shocked but usually its this one Angry

Can you really live on $150 a week in usa thesedays ?

I am living in Asia. Life is hard, but I am not complaining. I have only some 15-20 coins. But if BTC ever reaches the $ 100,000 mark, I'll become a millionaire.  Grin

Ah, yes I missed that part. Where in Asia? I need to think about retiring there. Oh, and how much does it cost for an old man to get laid by a young girl (I need to calculate all outgoing expenses)?

I can't speak for Asia, but in the piss poor parts of eastern Europe, like Moldavia, that particular expense would be around 20-30 USD according to some Swedish forums.

Are you currently putting all your money into bitcoin?  If you say this, you show you believe it by your actions.  I am putting all my money into bitcoin - I see a possibility of $50-$100+ per coin this year.  Just think, once the "bankers" and hedge funds find out about this, we are going to the moon.  Once my bitcoins are $1,000+ I will be able to pay off my growing college loans and maybe get an apartment, and my first car Smiley

So, did you pay off your college loans, got an apartment and bought your first car ? Tongue

That depends. From $25 to $1,000 depending on the quality. And much more if you get caught by the local police.

Why would I go there if prostitution is illegal? I could stay where I am and get that.

I want to shake your hand and say this, good on you for accepting bitcoin before bitcoin was bitcoin. Can I borrow 1/2 hours worth of work?
