Wish i was a part of this thread early long before the boom..

I would have been happy realizing that i am also a new wealthy elite....

We are still early adapters of bitcoins, most people here doesn't think about it but we are all owners of a big potential richness.
There will be more 4-5 bubbles before the value will reach its place in my opinion.

I like you, I was a buyer at 1200.. 900.. 600 and 500 .. lol.

Please tell me you are hodling.  It is not unrealistic at all to to expect to make a return on 1200

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

The etymology derived from:

At some point the word HOLD was mistyped as HODL. It stuck. It also sounds a little like HODOR.

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.

Figured I should post in this thread just in case I can look back on it and smile in a few years time.

Currently at just over 5 BTC, not worth a great deal today - here's hoping for tomorrow!

Are you currently putting all your money into bitcoin?  If you say this, you show you believe it by your actions.  I am putting all my money into bitcoin - I see a possibility of $50-$100+ per coin this year.  Just think, once the "bankers" and hedge funds find out about this, we are going to the moon.  Once my bitcoins are $1,000+ I will be able to pay off my growing college loans and maybe get an apartment, and my first car Smiley

The issue for me and I suspect a lot of us is getting enough before it goes way up. My tiny stake isn't a lot but I am enjoying the process of building it.

That's the thing. Having too many Elites is a bad thing to the current Elites. A little more power taken away from them.

Speaking of HODLING, what ever happened to Helmut Hodl? Did he get more fame from people coining the phrase, 'hodl'?

Helmut Hödl
Helmut Hödl is an Austrian clarinetist and composer. Hödl first played clarinet at age 6. He studied clarinet at the music academies of Vienna and Graz

We had a "Helmut Hodl" before the phrase was coined?
That's funny, I don't remember seeing him, but I was away for over a year in parts of 2012/2013.

Oh cool. I just chose the name because I was an insomniac in the 1980s and for some reason enjoyed his infomercials. My parents actually had a few Ronco items at the time.

Putting your money where your mouth is means you are commendable
Since most of us here are more or less long term users of Bitcoin and think a google ceo mentioned 90% are holders 10% speculate we will remain the new wealthy elite.
