I don't think we will ever be seeing 10k because it seems bitcoin has been reasonably steady for a few months. I think this may be the best time to sell personally.
A temporary period of relative stability helps you think BTC will never go to $10,000? (Does that make sense?) ps. This thread is a celebration of enthusiastic optimism.  |

I would check the price history. The price has been stable for way longer periods. Before, everyone was saying Bitcoin will never go to [insert number here] because it was volatile. Pretty funny you're claiming the opposite here  It's just my feeling  nothing others should take seriously but I've been thinking of selling recently because im just wondering what would shift the price upwards instead of down. Well make your own investment choices (but don't build them on 'hunches' and 'feelings'). I will not however |

The OP of that thread used leaked Gox data to link BTC balances to individuals (as opposed to BTC addresses which is meaningless).
His extending this reasoning to the broader non-Gox BTC world is tenuous at best.
At least it gives us the approximate distribution of the total Bitcoin wealth per individual. The leaked Gox data is perhaps the only reliable information in this regard. But we have to assume that the Gox distribution is true everywhere. |

We are still early adapters of bitcoins, most people here doesn't think about it but we are all owners of a big potential richness. There will be more 4-5 bubbles before the value will reach its place in my opinion. |

I had a lot more than 21 but I dicked around with ATL coins too much and lost more than half of my BTC, so I really hope so Because he was a troll (and mentally unstable) and later banned.
Well he was right about what he said in this thread, he discovered a technology long before almost anyone else and knew the potential... sometimes the mentally unstable are the ones you should listen to. He is probably enjoying his riches now |

Having tens of thousands got you kind of wealthy when it was 10$/BTC; having a few thousands got you kind of wealthy when it got to 100$/BTC and having a few hundreds got you kind of wealthy when it got to 1000$/BTC If you have tens of BTC you will get kind of wealthy when it gets to 10,000$/BTC and wealthy when it gets to 100,000$/BTC; if you have only a few BTC you will need to wait longer  |
