Trezor can store ETH coins?

Trezor can store ETH coins?

Yes, through the MyEtherWallet web interface. Just connect with TREZOR (guide available in the link above)

Just to let others know, I have used trezor for the past two and half years. It started malfunctioning about four months ago. The USB port stopped working. I have to press upwards on the USB cable to get the computer to recognize it. I removed all coins from the wallet and I finally got around to contacting SatoshiLabs to get it fixed. I was told it had been more than a year, so they would not help me. There response was go buy another trezor.  I find this unacceptable that Trezor is okay with hardware failure after only two years. You don't buy a trezor to only use it for one year; the company needs to change their policy and increase their quality control.

Trezor warranty has always been one year. I had one malfunction within 30 days and it was replaced free under warranty. Most hardware wallet owners keep more than one on hand just in case of unexpected failure. For comparison KeepKey warranty is also one year. Ledger Nano S is two years.

Support with trezor is much better than I anticipated. I think they will make exceptions under certain cases. I had to purchase another one when my screen went dark. I did the rush version and they refunded me the shipping.

You can already use Trezor with Electrum-LTC. Just download the portable version to a folder on your desktop.

How can i use two trezor devices under the same computer?

Once you have your first Trezor set up and working you can restore your seed to a second new Trezor so you have a working clone. Is that what you are wanting to do?

Nope, to have two different wallets. I would like to save bitcoins on both devices.

Sorry misunderstood. Your computer does not care if you have two Trezors with different seeds. You only use one at a time of course.

Nope, to have two different wallets. I would like to save bitcoins on both devices.

Sorry misunderstood. Your computer does not care if you have two Trezors with different seeds. You only use one at a time of course.

BUT, I just found this out and it is pretty cool:

1) Open wallet.trezor.io
2) Attach the destination Trezor (the one you want to send Bitcoins to)
3) Detach the destination Trezor - but REMEMBER it
4) Attach the source Trezor (the one you want to send the Bitcoins from)

Now you can send Bitcoins from the source Trezor to the destination Trezor by getting the next address from the receive dialog of the destination Trezor and copy/paste the address into the send dialog of the source Trezor.  The cool thing was that the wallet.trezor.io "knows" you are doing this and shows you that the destination address is from a Trezor and which Trezor you are about to send the Bitcoins to - a very useful "double check" before you send the Bitcoins.

You can actually connect several Trezors and remember them all when you disconnect them.  You can then get receive addresses from all of them all day long and send as many transactions to them as you want - without any of them being connected.

You only need to plug in one of them when you want to send Bitcoins from that Trezor.

Of course when you are done you can forget all of them so that others will not be able to see all of your addresses and transactions.

I wonder if all my bitcoins are safe or if I need to move all my coins to a new 24key seed?

I have many bitcoinadresses containing BTC, recently I made a small send where I sent 0.20btc to a person.

before sending any btc to anyone just recieving btc this is how it looked (I have modifed adresses and amounts)

for this example I use 1btc/each adress and 10 adresses total:

1. 1aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatqwt (first and oldest btc adress in trezor)  ----> unspent
2. 1bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbtewt (second and second oldes in trezor)  ----> unspent
.....
10. 1kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkngjf (10th adress in trezor)  ----> unspent

all 10 each have 1 btc so 10btc total.

now after I made a 0.20 btc payment in trezor this is how it now looks when I check blockchain:

1. 1aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatqwt this is completely spent, so all bitcoins are gone.
0.20 btc has been spent and gone to right reciever 0.80btc has gone to adress 1zzzzzzzzzzfda and is unspent.

1zzzzzzzzzzfda that holds 0.80btc is unspent but I can't see it in trezor over my btc adresses?
trezor still shows correct my balance 9.80btc (the remaining 9 adresses all are unspent)

Do not worry.  That is correct behavior.

Every time you spend Bitcoins all the Bitcoins from the source address are used and the address is thrown away.  Kind of like spending a $1000 bill.

The amount you spend is sent to the receiver's address.

The change is sent back to you on a new change address.

Change addresses come from a different list of addresses inside your Trezor than your normal receive addresses.

Your Trezor is operating correctly.

thanks for assuring me it is working correct Smiley

I still don't understand why I can't see the new "change address" in my trezor?
in fact only way for me to see it is tracking the transaction on blockchain.

However my wallet balance total is correct on trezor.

it will be under change addresses somewhere, there is a link to view them, but I forget where.
