Where did you first heard about Bitcoins?

In my personal experience, I first heard of it 1 year ago in a online forum game, people sold gold for Bitcoins, around March, gave it no importance at first. Now im kinda utterly commited to it. Really an interest subject of study.

I first heard about bitcoin back in 2013.I wasn`t very interested...

I started using this forum before 6 months and i`ll continue to be active  here.

I wish i was more active back in 2013....

LOL, we all wish we could turn back the time bro, if I have a time machine I will go bank to 2011 where bitcoins is still worthless and I would buy as much as I can.

Lol it was impossible to happen dude there was never a time machine. so give thanks what you get for now. I joined bitcoin in 2015 and I am grateful to it. I can still buy bitcoin at a price below  400 and it was made into a big profit. not too late to join in bitcoin dude

I've heard bitcoins at first time from my old friend.He propose me this coin and recommend it but i just ignored him and that time bitcoins price is still at $0.10 each bitcoin.Then few years after that i have read an post on fb about the pizza guy which get paid 10,000BTC for just a large pizza.And stated below that cost about $10m that time so i became interested and try it

wow.. if you invest at bitcoin when the price only $0.1 you are very luck  .
i think now we should'nt ignore any new technology, like ethereum, the first rate is very low and now the price $13.

I agree with but sometimes we gotta have to keep away from schemers. Most are newbies because it is not a risk on there ranks. They would mostly take advantage of the positive perspective you got there. Be vigilant on what you see. Try visiting all the topic in the forum. You can realize a lot and maybe you can adapt you own style in btc. Goodluck.

if i remember correctly, first time i heard about bitcoins in 2013, in local tv news and they talked about bitcoins, what it is,  why people likes it, and about bitcoins ATM in france

and then i started to read more about bitcoins, when i bought some and started to trade them i told my friends about it too so they learnt a lot about them too now

I guess it happened 2 or 3 years ago. My friend told me about Bitcoin, and back then, I broke my brain trying to grasp the whole concept of cryptocurrency.

i just heard and learned about it 6 months ago . while i am watching a video on youtube i unexpectedly watched the video about the disturbing facts and materials from the deepweb and i always heard repeatedly while i am watching it bitcoin is always involved and i realized that it is used as a mode of payment for every transactions . and i research more about bitcoin then i finally found a fb group that all users are using bitcoin and then they told me how to earn it and where .

Yeah this forum you can get anything, knowledge, profit, science, strategy, and so I also recognize it fortunately for you guys who've been in this forum for a long time. but the resources to gain knowledge not only of this forum. for example I was just looking for information and knowledge bitcoin from local blogs and local forum was very helpful

First I heard of bitcoin was in the news, maybe about 3 or 4 years ago. Had I known that time that the price would be where it is now, I would be a rich man by now. But that is the past and I cannot do anything to alter it. The best that I can do is buy now, little by little, try to hold for the long term, and see how much profit I am going to make in the next five years.

Oh theirs a news about bitcoin in your place? In my place bitcoin is totally unknown and i think im only one use it here in my place since bitcoin still not famous in outside world, and for me i know bitcoin when someone Link me a groups of bitcoin users and out of couriousity i really try it and luckyly im earning good now and thanks really for the one who gives the link about bitcoin, but to think that they have news about bitcoin Before well i dont see it in net world or any local news papers.

Yeah same here I was first interested in tor or deep web. I researched about it a lot in my past years and which forced me to learn about bitcoins too then finally I fell in love with bitcoins <3

I heard it back in 2011 where in there was a huge hype of mining Bitcoin using GPU's and there were numerous facebook groups where they posted they rigs and also had many tutorials for other to follow or even customize their rigs in order to work better.

The first time I heard of Bitcoins was almost 2 years ago from a college of mine he was always busy with Bitcoin and he thaught me how it worked and stuff.

Probably 2 years ago, I heard about SilkRoad and started researching that. I basically wanted to buy some stuff of SR and started researching how to do that, which is where I came across bitcoin. At the time everything seemed way too over my head and confusing so I kinda just ignored bitcoin and SR for a while. Fast forward to now and I wish I bought some bitcoin years ago!
