depends on which algorithm. we can be mined using any of 5 algorithms. (scrypt, x17, lyra2rev2, myr-groestl, and blake2s)

and it depends on what you are using to mine with, a gpu, cpu, asic, etc...

Yes. I bought some million XVG coins on the bittrex exchange one week ago with price 9sats. it's too cheap for this project.
Now it's rising up nearly double price and I'm still holding it for a while . we can see the min target at 35 sats next week.

I know multi algro was added a long time ago but any thought on adding sha256? That and scrypt are only two algro I can currently mine with.. lol

Go to the first page on this thread and find a pool that uses the algro that you are working with. Join that pool and then you will have to configure the miner software to connect to that pool.

I don't mind running a full node but I am only connected to one peer and it's taking quite a while even on a fast laptop. I am not using a VPN. Is this normal? I am using the GUI on OS X.

Alright have one question.

I have transferred all my XVG's out of the exchange right into my wallet.
However, XVG installed on my Appdata\roaming folder what I don't want but ok for now.
I have an external drive encrypted where I want to store my coins.

What do I need to copy to my encrypted external drive so that I can safely delete my XVG folder from my C drive?

So when I want to use it again in the coming years, what do I need to load so that I see my own wallet again with all the coins in it?
