Hi, I hope you can help: I'm using MacOS Wallet v1.0.0.0 and have issues synchronizing with network. I'm connected to 5 servers and am receiving updates about last created blocks as well ("Last received block was generated x minutes ago"). But somehow the speed is very slow and I'm not able to catch up (new blocks are generated faster than my wallet receives).
Any ideas?

Same here, someone please advise. Continuing wallet problems on my Mac. Worked fine for weeks, not cannot send or receive TrumpCoins to the wallet between Yobit or the wallet I added to my Windows laptop. Frustrated and no one here seems to be offering any support. Someone throw me a bone please. I know nothing about Mac's so bear with my ignorance. 1. Are you using the Mac TrumpCoin-Qt(V2 OSX) wallet downloadable from the Meganz site? 2. I had previous issues with my Win wallet. TimC gave me this suggestion which worked. >>>If your wallet was running and it crashed and then it does not want to startup then you need to delete the block chain and let it re-download. So delete everything beside your wallet.dat file and open the wallet. << Otherwise, come on boys help our fellow Trumper. Thank you this helped! It seems the downloaded blockchain was corrupt somehow. Please remember to backup your wallet.dat - it contains your Trumpcoins. You can find it in (MacOS): /Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/TrumpCoinV2/ This seems to be the right track. I don't seem to have the folder mentioned here under Application Support. I did do a wallet backup. How will the new TrumpCoin Wallet that I download find the backed up wallet. Does it need to be saved in a certain place? Thanks for the help so far. |

If you want to reload the blockchain by scratch, you'd ned to quit your wallet, remove everything in the above mentioned folder except wallet.dat (this is important) and restart your wallet. It will start with 0 funds, that is ok and it will show up once the corresponding blocks are downloaded where your transactions are contained. |

I am now thinking that the files are hidden and I am going to look for a way to unhide the files/folders on my Mac. If anyone knows how to do this let me know. Yeah. Yobit is finally back up after 5 hours. Took Poloniex only 2 hours. I am seriously thinking about taking out my Trump Coins and sitting on them.

No, because each wallet contains its own DAT file which is where your coins are kept. You can of course run as many wallets on as many computers as you wish. |
